Exposed to the sunlight, the Weird Bride felt terribly uncomfortable and let out a series of cries.
The dozen or so Sequence Users all stayed far away, waiting for the sunlight to kill the Weird Bride.

Yet, uncomfortable as she was, like someone who could not swim suddenly drowning, after crying out for a while, the Weird Bride discovered she had not died. She lowered the hands covering her face, somewhat bewildered.

Seeing that the Weird Bride actually had not died in the sunlight, all the Sequence Users were stunned, scarcely able to believe their eyes.
Weird beings always died in sunlight. That was an absolute rule, so why was this Weird Bride still alive?
The Weird Bride ignored the Sequence Users around her and raised her head slightly.
