| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Space-Time Dao Fruit Seed → Aging Rule | 980 1068 | Retrospective origin: her father gave her a Space-Time Dao Fruit Seed. She developed its power gradually, producing aging rather than her sister’s time reversal. |
| Rule Mastery / Control Level | 273 377 379 | Established as a Rule Mastery Weird. She can directly apply her rule without a prerequisite, unlike less-developed rule users. |
| Survival in sunlight | 205 206 220 | Survives exposure after the Underground Palace is bombed. She later suggests that changes in Luo Fan caused this development, but the explanation is not confirmed. |
| Breakthrough associated with the Innate Yin Jade | 699 700 | Her aura rises amid a large-scale manifestation of Weird Qi. Luo Fan judges that the breakthrough concerns her rules rather than her numerical level; its precise result is not confirmed here. |
| Further time-rule comprehension sought | 806 | Still describes a bottleneck preventing Rule Sanction and investigates a mysterious pool with Luo Fan. The pool has vanished, so the visit produces no immediate breakthrough. |
| Rule Sanction; Unnameable stage | 819 | Confirmed breakthrough grants passive nullification of lower-level rules, freedom from obeying her own aging rule, and Unnameable traits. |
| Seventh tier confirmed | 839 | Her numerical tier remains below eighth- and ninth-tier Weirds, but Rule Sanction gives her superior standing in the Weird hierarchy. |
| Approaching the eighth tier | 1034 | The Innate Yin Jade accelerates her level growth. She remains seventh tier in this passage; an eighth-tier advancement is not documented. |
Background / History
Family and Life in the Underground Palace
Xiaodie grew up in the Weird Realm as the daughter of Years Weird and the Empress Dowager. Her father gave both her and Sister Hong Space-Time Dao Fruit Seeds: Xiaodie developed aging, while Sister Hong developed time reversal 980 1032.
Yamato sought permission to marry her, but her parents had not agreed. Annoyed by his persistent attention, she left to live alone in an Underground Palace. She explicitly rejects the description that she fled an arranged marriage 979.
There, her avatar captured the Inventor Sequence user Mo Mo, whom she intended to take into her household as a husband. Luo Fan entered the palace with the group attempting to rescue him. The palace’s guards, servants, and maids were actually the Bride’s doppelgängers 190 895 954.
Luo Fan’s Escape and Her Pursuit
After Luo Fan became her husband, Xiaodie refused to believe that his departure meant abandonment. She dismissed her doppelgängers when they insisted he had deceived her, maintaining that he would return 199 201.
Aerospace Base and Greenedge Base forces subsequently bombed the Underground Palace. Trapped in a shrinking patch of shade, she was exposed to sunlight but unexpectedly survived. Seeing Luo Fan’s companion Li Yan among the attackers led her to believe he had arranged her death, turning her grief into a desire for revenge 205 206 211.
She searched passing convoys for Luo Fan until Rose identified him and Li Congcong’s divination pointed north. By their later conversation in the RV, Xiaodie again wanted him to return home with her. Luo Fan instead invited her to remain with the Hope Convoy, but sunlight still made her uncomfortable 211 220.
Injury, Recovery, and a New Home
In Yi City, Xiaodie pushed her Aging Rule beyond its limits while attacking hundreds of resisting Weirds. Her Weird Crystal—already missing a portion—cracked, and her body began breaking apart. The Empress Dowager healed her injuries and supplied High-Tier Weird Crystals and Magic Potion to repair the crystal. Xiaodie wanted to save those supplies as a New Year’s gift for Luo Fan 258 273.
She later returned to Foggy Canyon and planned a replacement Underground Palace. Once it was completed, Luo Fan stayed with her for seven or eight days. She then undertook the collection of his third-tier advancement materials, hunting creatures including a Succubus Spider and a Purple Thunder Eel that had transformed into a flood dragon 298 348 365 377.
The Weird Domain and Innate Yin Jade
Xiaodie and Luo Fan devised a public arrangement that allowed her to live in their Weird Domain: its humans would nominally acknowledge her as their ruler. Holding half of the Domain’s Authority supported that claim. The Hope Convoy’s leaders accepted the arrangement, and she established a private residence on the Snow Mountain summit 462.
The discovery of unfinished Innate Yin Jade offered a chance to improve her prospects of reaching Rule Sanction by approximately twenty percentage points. She carried its Jade Embryo to Yi City, drawing thousands of Weirds into an orderly procession so their aura could nourish it. The migration made her widely known on the Sequence User Forum 472 474 475.
The jade attracted competing claimants, including the Puppet Weird and Sister Hong. Xiaodie cooperated with Luo Fan’s plan to exploit the conflict, forced the Puppet Weird to return an ability stolen from him, and defended him during the ensuing battle. Afterward, she planned to settle in Lin City rather than remain alone in the Underground Palace 519 558 560 564 574.
Family Approval and Rule Sanction
When her parents learned of the marriage, her father demanded that Luo Fan enter the deadly Fallen Sea Island. Xiaodie offered to accompany him. After his return, she learned of his plan to use Godhead Authority to make it possible for them to have a child, then demonstrated her resistance to sunlight before her astonished parents 629 689 690.
Her later confirmed Rule Sanction breakthrough also made her Unnameable. At Har City, she used that power to neutralize the level-95 Space Distortion Weird’s rules, then took Luo Fan’s Demon-Breaking Dagger and dominated the fight. Her intervention replaced the original plan to use Tomeko as humanity’s publicly acknowledged Weird overlord 819 893 894 896.
The Seven Cities Territory subsequently belonged to Xiaodie in name, with humans publicly treated as being under her ownership. This arrangement provided a basis for their territory’s acceptance among the Weirds, while Luo Fan acted as its human administrator under the identity of her servant 1085.
Eastern Japan Island and Other Spacetimes
Xiaodie asked Luo Fan to accompany her to Eastern Japan Island to kill Yamato. In Tokyo, they concealed their marriage by presenting Luo Fan as her slave and An Xiaoran as her maidservant. She also hid her Rule Sanction advancement, allowing Yamato to believe she remained at Rule Mastery 943 979 989.
During their travels through another spacetime, she briefly mistook its earlier Luo Fan for her husband. After understanding the distinction, she accompanied her own Luo Fan into the Weird Realm, where her familiarity with the region helped guide their journey 1021 1031 1032.
After Luo Fan’s sixth-tier promotion, she proposed bringing Willow Immortal Elder back from Tokyo so the Innate Yin Jade could help his recovery and his forging skills could support their group 1152.
Appearance
Xiaodie appears approximately seventeen or eighteen, with fair skin and delicate features; this is an apparent age, not a stated chronological age 192.
- Wedding attire: A vivid red gown embroidered with mandarin ducks and dragon-and-phoenix designs 192.
- Footwear: Red embroidered shoes decorated with peonies 192.
- Headwear: A red veil and an ornate golden crown set with pearls and colored gems. Her original crown is destroyed in the Underground Palace bombardment 192 205.
- Hands: Jade-fair arms contrasted with extremely sharp black nails 192.
- Weird presence: Despite her beauty and humanlike features, observers can recognize her as a Weird. Changing her appearance does not remove that distinction 810 950.
Personality
Xiaodie is intensely devoted to Luo Fan, often becoming shy, affectionate, and accommodating around him. She celebrates his increasing strength because it improves his chances of surviving, and she readily gathers resources or places herself between him and danger 311 348 608 820.
That devotion also makes perceived betrayal especially painful. She initially insists that Luo Fan will return after leaving the palace, then becomes vengeful when she believes he brought attackers to kill her. Her anger is directed at his supposed betrayal rather than at the human bases acting against a Weird 201 206 211.
Toward outsiders, she can be cold, imperious, and lethal. She kills Sequence Users who obstruct her search, yet does not automatically attack every human she encounters: she leaves a convoy unharmed after asking about Luo Fan and later thanks another convoy for charging her phone 209 212 451.
Her consideration for humans is not unconditional. She promises protection to the Weird Domain’s obedient residents, but elsewhere restrains an impulse to kill witnesses partly because she fears Luo Fan would dislike it 462 811.
Abilities & Skills
Aging Rule
Her central ability is a time rule that accelerates a target’s aging 379 806.
- Ages living targets to death, including the Succubus Spider 365.
- Suppresses Feng Xing’s Rule-Type resurrection and kills him permanently 326.
- Deteriorates nonliving material, rusting the Puppet Weird’s metal body 558.
- At Rule Sanction, imposes aging without being bound to obey the rule herself 819.
- Excessive output can damage her body and Weird Crystal, as demonstrated during the Yi City overload 258.
Rule Sanction and Nullification
Rule Sanction allows her to invalidate manipulation- and control-level rules 819.
- Passive defense: Luo Fan’s Petrification Bait, Sealing Trap, and Courage Hymn fail against her without requiring an active defensive skill 819.
- Active suppression: Erases the Space Distortion Weird’s rule power and smooths the distortions concealing her appearance 893.
- Limit: Yamato’s special ability can nullify even Rule Sanction powers 979.
Unnameable Nature
Her Rule Sanction breakthrough gives her the traits of an Unnameable Being 819.
- Ordinary observers forget her after she leaves their sight; seeing her again or being reminded can restore their memories 819 893 1085.
- Senses when others remember or mention her, demonstrated across Blue Star and the Weird Realm during their gradual merging 1031.
- Resists memory loss imposed by others, including top-tier beings at the same rule level 959.
- Tomeko’s Godhead Fragment allows her to remember Xiaodie despite this effect 893.
Immobilization and Ability Sealing
She can invisibly restrain targets and suppress Sequence User powers 212 515 811.
- Immobilizes groups through her released aura and crushes them with downward pressure 212.
- Restrains individual creatures before applying aging or extracting materials 365.
- Her vision-sealing power can prevent affected Sequence Users from using skills and activating Uncanny Artifacts 811.
Doppelgängers and Transformation
Xiaodie creates independently acting doubles and changes appearances 201 560.
- Populates her original Underground Palace with doppelgänger guards, servants, and maids 954.
- Deploys dozens of differently shaped doubles to intercept attacking Weirds 560.
- Uses these abilities to help convert a wooden cabin into a small modern Chinese-style residence 462.
- Transformation does not disguise her fundamental Weird nature from human observers 810 812.
Sunlight and Innate Yang Steel Resistance
Unlike ordinary Weirds, Xiaodie survives direct sunlight, although exposure can still make her uncomfortable 451 690 967.
- Walks through sunlit streets and operates outside during daytime 628 811.
- Wields the Demon-Breaking Dagger despite its Innate Yang Steel, which suppresses other Weirds 893 894.
- Retains a preference for sheltering by day and emerging at night 1088.
- Her suggestion that Luo Fan caused her sunlight resistance remains a hypothesis in the supplied account 220.
Mobility, Senses, and Domain Authority
- Speed: Crosses a 2,500-meter underground passage in moments 199.
- Water traversal: Runs across the sea as though it were solid ground 377 379.
- Detection: Locates human convoys from kilometers away and senses Luo Fan’s nearby presence 209 213 451.
- Domain access: Uses her share of the Weird Domain’s Authority to open its entrance at will 462 628.
- Hierarchical deterrence: Her Rule Sanction status commands respect even from higher-tier Weirds; after her breakthrough, Weirds ordinarily avoid the area within a hundred miles of Lin City 836 839.
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Distance-Defying Red Veil — Given to Luo Fan and made with a fragment of Xiaodie’s own Weird Crystal. It contains a summoning contract; its initial appraisal lists ten uses and warns that the summoned Weird may kill an unfamiliar summoner. Luo Fan also uses it as proof of her protection in Yi City, and the couple recognize summoning as a potential emergency escape for her 273 326 475 519.
- Innate Yin Jade — Cultivated using Weird aura to improve her chances of Rule Sanction. It later accelerates her numerical level growth 472 474 1034.
- Doomsday Phone — Used to coordinate with Luo Fan. She once approaches a convoy specifically to have it charged 451 519.
- Demon-Breaking Dagger — Luo Fan’s weapon, temporarily wielded by Xiaodie against the level-95 Space Distortion Weird 893 894.
- Myriad Phenomena Netherworld Fruit — A rule-comprehension treasure belonging to her counterpart in an earlier spacetime; Sister Hong steals it from that Xiaodie’s bedchamber 1055.
Relationships
- Luo Fan — Husband and principal partner. Their private marriage is frequently concealed behind the public identities of Weird mistress and human servant 462 555 989 1085.
- Years Weird — Father, an LV100 top-tier Weird and the source of her Space-Time Dao Fruit Seed. He subjects Luo Fan to the Fallen Sea Island test 629 980.
- Empress Dowager — Mother and an Unnameable Being. She heals Xiaodie after her overload injuries and later learns of her relationship with Luo Fan 273 555 629.
- Qipao Weird / Sister Hong — Sister and fellow recipient of their father’s Space-Time Dao Fruit Seeds. Their rivalry includes competing interests in the Innate Yin Jade, but Xiaodie does not intend to kill her and retains a sisterly attachment 519 689 980.
- Mo Mo — Former intended husband, captured by her avatar. After marrying Luo Fan, she pointedly keeps her distance from Mo Mo to avoid misunderstandings 895 896.
- Yamato — Unwanted suitor who prompted her departure from home. She later travels to his territory intending to kill him and conceals her marriage while infiltrating his circle 979 989 990.
- An Xiaoran — Luo Fan’s companion; poses as Xiaodie’s personal maid during the Tokyo operation 989 990.
- Rose — Helps locate Luo Fan during Xiaodie’s pursuit. Xiaodie later believes she has aged Rose to death, is surprised by her survival, and is injured by her sneak attack during the Yi City conflict 211 561 564.
- Tomeko — Captured after entering Xiaodie’s territory and later submits to her authority at Har City. Her Godhead Fragment prevents her from forgetting Xiaodie 836 893.
