Arc 26The Fallen Sea Trial

Luo Fan entered Fallen Sea Island to face his Weird Bride’s father’s trial, where he fought powerful Weirds and gathered totems with his companions. After surviving a rule-nullifying assassin, he found that a Giant Lizard Weird he had killed had returned to life and followed it toward the Tower.

  • Luo Fan upgraded his equipment, reunited with the Hope Convoy, and learned that the Weird Bride’s father, Years Weird, demanded he enter Fallen Sea Island for a deadly test.
  • Luo Fan brought An Xiaoran and the Qipao Weird to the island, survived attacks from flying Weirds, and met Tomeko, a Japanese survivor who joined their group.
  • The group explored the island and discovered that a moonlit Tower had appeared, drawing powerful Weirds who needed Yin and Yang Fish totems to enter its trial.
  • Luo Fan and his companions hunted for totems, defeated the Farmer Weird, and secured enough patterns for Luo Fan and An Xiaoran to qualify for the Tower.
  • Luo Fan killed a Giant Lizard Weird in a cave, but it left no crystal or totem, and a noble rule-mastery Weird arrived to kill him over the battle of Hong City.
  • Luo Fan exposed the noble Weird to sunlight with Space-Time Scission and forced it to retreat, while An Xiaoran treated the wounded Qipao Weird.
  • Luo Fan’s group searched for missing totems and recognized the Giant Lizard Weird he had killed, so he decided to follow it toward the Tower and investigate its return.
Chapters 626–650 Vol. 7 Read

Ch. 626The Fourth-Tier Service Feature!

After reaching the fourth tier, Luo Fan discovered that his Storage Space had expanded and unlocked the Recycling feature, which converted unwanted items into Check-in Funds. He cleared out much of his stored loot and prepared to rank up his main weapons, leaving the chapter at the cost prompt for upgrading the Weird Gun.

  • Luo Fan saw that the Mall offered a wider selection and that his Storage Space had expanded eightfold to 2,560 cubic meters.
  • Luo Fan discovered the Recycling feature and tested it by converting an Ironclad Rhino corpse, a Swift Wind Wolf corpse, and a third-tier weird crystal into Check-in Funds.
  • Luo Fan recycled unwanted low-tier materials, crystals, and uncanny artifacts, raising his balance to 3,058,600 Check-in Funds.
  • Luo Fan kept his rare materials, fifth-tier weird crystals, and potentially useful Third-Tier Uncanny Artifacts, then chose the Wraith Short Sword and Weird Gun as candidates for Rank-Up.
  • Luo Fan placed the Weird Gun in the Rank-Up interface and saw a prompt asking him to confirm its upgrade to the fourth tier.

Ch. 627Luo Fan's father-in-law?

After the battle at Hong City, Luo Fan spent most of his check-in funds upgrading four Uncanny Artifacts, then returned to Lin City with the Hope Convoy after reaching fourth tier. Elsewhere, the Weird Bride’s Mother met a powerful Weird who claimed that Xiaodie was his daughter too.

  • Luo Fan upgraded the Weird Gun to fourth tier, increasing its range to 4,000 meters, and strengthened the Wraith Short Sword.
  • Luo Fan upgraded the Invisibility Cloak to third tier, reducing its movement-speed penalty to 10%, and expanded the Far-Sensing Wave Hat’s scanning range to 5,200 meters.
  • Luo Fan rejoined the Hope Convoy, whose members congratulated him on reaching fourth tier after the Hong City battle.
  • Luo Fan thanked Master Wen Hao and Jiang Shengnan, then led the Hope Convoy by helicopter back toward Lin City.
  • The Weird Bride’s Mother entered a Weird Domain and confronted a powerful Weird who summoned her to discuss Xiaodie.
  • The Weird on the throne told the Weird Bride’s Mother that Xiaodie was his daughter too.

Ch. 628A father-in-law's test!

Years Weird learned that Luo Fan was Xiaodie's husband and demanded that he travel to the deadly Fallen Sea Island as a test of his worth. The Weird Bride told Luo Fan that her father knew about their relationship, leaving him to face the choice between the island and Years Weird's possible intervention.

  • Years Weird reproached Mother-in-law for not telling him Xiaodie had married, then discussed Luo Fan's strength and humanity's counterattack against the Weird.
  • Years Weird proposed Fallen Sea Island as a test, warning that he would consider Luo Fan unworthy if he refused; Mother-in-law agreed to tell Xiaodie but left the choice to Luo Fan.
  • Mother-in-law told the Weird Bride that Years Weird knew about Luo Fan and demanded he visit Fallen Sea Island, where he would have only a one-in-ten chance of survival.
  • The Weird Bride worried that refusing would leave Luo Fan no chance if Years Weird acted, and decided to tell her husband about the demand.
  • The Weird Bride found Luo Fan sorting battle spoils and told him that her father knew about him and their relationship.

Ch. 629Husband, I'll go to Fallen Sea Island with you!

The Weird Bride told Luo Fan that her Unnameable mother and LV100 top-tier father knew about their marriage, and that her father had set him a deadly test on Fallen Sea Island. Facing a choice between the island’s slim chance of survival and her father’s intervention, Luo Fan weighed the risks as the Weird Bride offered to go with him.

  • The Weird Bride revealed that her parents knew about her relationship with Luo Fan and that her mother was an Unnameable Being he had encountered twice.
  • The Weird Bride explained that her mother was high-tier and her father was a top-tier Weird at LV100.
  • The Weird Bride told Luo Fan that her father’s test was to enter Fallen Sea Island, where nine out of ten entrants died and survivors forgot what happened there.
  • The Weird Bride said an LV100 Weird had entered the island and its Life Lamp had gone out, suggesting it had died there.
  • Luo Fan considered the danger of the island against the threat of his father-in-law acting if he refused.
  • The Weird Bride offered to go to Fallen Sea Island with Luo Fan.

Ch. 630Sister Hong, Can You Tell Me About That Old Geezer?

Luo Fan set out for Fallen Sea Island with An Xiaoran after Zhao Chunfeng explained that she was bound to accompany him and could help there. The Qipao Weird warned him that powerful Weirds had noticed him, then chose to join the dangerous journey, and Luo Fan asked whether she could tell him about her father.

  • Luo Fan persuaded the Weird Bride to stay behind so he could summon her as a surprise if he faced danger on Fallen Sea Island.
  • Luo Fan told the Hope Convoy about his father-in-law's trial, and Zhao Chunfeng urged him to bring An Xiaoran because of their symbiotic contract and a vision of them fighting together.
  • Luo Fan agreed to take An Xiaoran, accepted sunlight stored by Mo Yuling, and watched the Hope Convoy leave to train while he and An Xiaoran flew toward Fallen Sea Island.
  • The Qipao Weird warned Luo Fan that his victory over the sixth-tier Flame Demon had drawn the attention of powerful Weirds, then offered to accompany him to Fallen Sea Island.
  • Luo Fan accepted the Qipao Weird's offer and asked whether she and the Weird Bride shared a father and what their father was like.

Ch. 631The Weird Tide's ambush!

Luo Fan and his companions flew toward Fallen Sea Island when hundreds of flying Weirds ambushed them. They prepared to fight and Luo Fan identified a powerful Giant Bat Weird leading the encirclement.

  • The Qipao Weird refused to discuss her Unnameable Being father, and Luo Fan flew with her and An Xiaoran toward the coast.
  • A Ghost Howl alerted Luo Fan to hundreds of approaching flying Weirds, which he detected with the Far-Sensing Wave Hat.
  • Luo Fan descended, stored the helicopter in his system space, and transformed with Nightmare Nekomata while An Xiaoran used Angel Descending.
  • Black Bird carried the Qipao Weird as the group took to the air and faced the Weirds’ semicircular formation.
  • Luo Fan scanned the horde and found a powerful Giant Bat Weird surrounded by Third-Tier Elites.

Ch. 632A power designed to counter him!

Luo Fan charged through the Weird horde under Decapitation’s protection to confront the human-headed, eagle-bodied Weird, whose mental barrier blocked his attacks. Decapitation expired as the surrounding Weirds lunged at him, leaving him trapped before his target.

  • Luo Fan detected the human-headed, eagle-bodied Weird and endured its powerful mental counterattack before charging into the horde.
  • Luo Fan’s Decapitation skill made him immune to the Weirds’ attacks as he smashed through their ranks toward his target.
  • An Xiaoran explained Decapitation to the Qipao Weird, who watched Luo Fan’s charge with growing pride.
  • Luo Fan reached the target and repeatedly struck its mental barrier, but could not land a hit or use his ground-based traps in the air.
  • The target waited for Decapitation to expire, then its surrounding Weirds lunged at Luo Fan as his invincibility ended.

Ch. 633When Luo Fan Mimicked a Rule-Type Weird!

Luo Fan used Mimicry to become the Banquet Woman Weird and killed the Sixth-Tier mental-type Weird that had ambushed him. After collecting the spoils and reaching LV42, he flew back to An Xiaoran and the Qipao Weird.

  • Luo Fan mimicked the Banquet Woman Weird, activating Vision Sealing and forcing the Nightmare Nekomata out of his body.
  • Luo Fan imposed the banquet rules on the Sixth-Tier Weird and made it offer pieces of its body when it could not provide food.
  • Luo Fan produced chocolate for the seventh round, and the rules severed the Sixth-Tier Weird's head, killing it.
  • Luo Fan collected the Sixth-Tier Weird Crystal and 207 Weird corpses, recycled the spoils, and reached LV42.
  • Luo Fan flew to An Xiaoran and the Qipao Weird, who praised how outrageous his abilities had become.

Ch. 634Where... was Fallen Sea Island?

Luo Fan and the Qipao Weird fought off a massive Weird ambush while rushing toward Fallen Sea Island, with the Qipao Weird using a time barrier to protect the helicopter. They reached the island’s coordinates but found only open sea, and the Qipao Weird suspected a rule prevented them from seeing or entering it without meeting certain conditions.

  • Luo Fan reflected on the Dining Weird’s strengths and limits, then the Qipao Weird sensed a large force of Weirds approaching the helicopter.
  • Luo Fan used the Far-Sensing Wave Hat to detect flying and ocean Weirds closing in, and he dodged successive ranged attacks as Fallen Sea Island remained thirteen nautical miles away.
  • The Qipao Weird raised a Time Reversal Barrier and told Luo Fan to fly straight, reflecting the attackers’ strikes back at them while the strain left her bleeding and weak.
  • Luo Fan reached the island’s coordinates, but he and the Qipao Weird saw no land; she concluded that a rule might conceal the island until they met certain conditions.
  • More Weirds pursued them and launched water arrows as Luo Fan considered how to find a way into Fallen Sea Island.

Ch. 635Eastern Japan, a female samurai?

Luo Fan and An Xiaoran reached Fallen Sea Island after the Qipao Weird’s Time Reversal barrier let them pass the island’s hidden boundary, but the effort left her unconscious. While exploring the silent jungle with her, they encountered a swordswoman who swiftly killed a Fourth-Tier Weird and mistook Luo Fan’s group for possibly being Weirds.

  • Luo Fan flew the damaged helicopter through the barrier to Fallen Sea Island while the Qipao Weird maintained the Time Reversal barrier.
  • The helicopter began failing, so Luo Fan stored it and descended with An Xiaoran and the unconscious Qipao Weird.
  • An Xiaoran tried to heal the Qipao Weird, but her Healing had little effect because of the difference in their tiers.
  • Luo Fan carried the Qipao Weird into the jungle and began searching for a safe place with An Xiaoran, the Nightmare Nekomata, and the Black Bird.
  • A level 43 lizardlike Weird emerged from the bushes, but a female samurai killed it with one slash and collected its Weird Crystal.
  • The swordswoman noticed Luo Fan’s two Weird companions and asked whether he was Chinese or a Weird.

Ch. 636This island wasn't quite what he'd imagined!

Luo Fan met Tomeko, a Japanese swordswoman stranded on Fallen Sea Island, and learned that she had survived there for half a month without knowing the island’s name or having access to communications. After she led Luo Fan and An Xiaoran to her hidden cave, Luo Fan shared clean water and left Tomeko stunned by his supplies.

  • Luo Fan told Tomeko he was human and explained that he kept Weirds with him to learn their strengths and subdue them.
  • Tomeko explained that a storm had washed her ashore half a month earlier and that she had been hiding from powerful fourth- and fifth-tier beings.
  • Luo Fan showed Tomeko his Doomsday Phone, and she revealed that almost everyone in Eastern Japan had died and that survivors who fled by sea had scattered or perished.
  • Tomeko led Luo Fan, An Xiaoran, and their companions to a concealed cave where she had been sheltering.
  • Luo Fan produced bottles of mineral water from his system storage, gave water to An Xiaoran, and offered a bottle to a shocked Tomeko.

Ch. 637I'm surviving in the wilderness, while Luo Fan is on an island vacation?

Luo Fan shared his abundant water and food with Tomeko, then treated her to a lavish hot pot breakfast that moved her to tears. After the meal, Tomeko asked why he had come to dangerous Fallen Sea Island with An Xiaoran.

  • Luo Fan gave Tomeko a case of mineral water and explained that storage-type Uncanny Artifacts were common in China.
  • Luo Fan set up a hot pot breakfast outside the cave, bringing out abundant ingredients and watermelon from his System Storage.
  • Tomeko ate watermelon and hot pot, weeping as she recalled how rare such food had been for her in Eastern Japan.
  • After eating for nearly two hours, Tomeko asked Luo Fan why he had come to Fallen Sea Island with An Xiaoran despite its dangers.

Ch. 638Night of the full moon, a strange upheaval on Fallen Sea Island!

Luo Fan, An Xiaoran, and Tomeko explored Fallen Sea Island and fought increasingly dangerous Weirds, strengthening their teamwork. After Luo Fan reached LV43 and gave Tomeko a sixth-tier Weird Crystal, the full moon gathered its light on the island’s central mountain and revealed a mysterious tower.

  • Luo Fan decided to keep Tomeko with him because her combat skills and knowledge of the island improved their chances of survival.
  • Over three days, the group fought a sixth-tier giant python, a flock of flying Weirds, and a stealthy shadow Weird while exploring the island.
  • Luo Fan, An Xiaoran, and Tomeko defeated a LV61 Three-Headed Wolf Weird, and Luo Fan gave Tomeko its sixth-tier Weird Crystal.
  • Luo Fan advanced from LV42 to LV43, matching An Xiaoran, who had advanced the previous day.
  • As the group prepared to eat beneath the full moon, its light formed a beam that struck the central mountain and caused a mysterious tower to emerge.

Ch. 639Teleportation? Seventh-Tier Weirds?

The Qipao Weird awakened and headed toward the Tower, while Luo Fan, An Xiaoran, and Tomeko discovered yin-yang markings on their palms and set out after her. Their journey was interrupted by beams of light teleporting dozens of powerful Weirds onto Fallen Sea Island, all moving toward the Tower.

  • The Qipao Weird woke after three days unconscious, found a black semicircle marking on her palm, and followed the Black Bird toward the Tower.
  • Tomeko and Luo Fan each discovered a palm marking—black for Tomeko and white for Luo Fan—and An Xiaoran revealed she also bore a white mark.
  • Luo Fan, An Xiaoran, and Tomeko returned to the cave, found the Qipao Weird gone, and followed her footprints toward the Tower.
  • Beams of light began appearing across the island, teleporting powerful Weirds that ranged from Fifth Tier to peak Seventh Tier.
  • Luo Fan realized the Weirds were all heading toward the Tower and recognized the beams as a form of teleportation.

Ch. 640Trial rules: failure means erasure!

Luo Fan and his companions learned that Fallen Sea Island had been sealed for a three-day trial in which participants had to collect yin and yang totems or be erased. After assessing the powerful Weirds on the island and his group’s needs, Luo Fan prepared to explain how his abilities could help them fight.

  • Powerful Weirds ranging from fifth to seventh tier arrived on Fallen Sea Island, and an enormous barrier sealed the island off.
  • Luo Fan, Tomeko, the Qipao Weird, and An Xiaoran learned that they needed one yin and one yang totem each to enter the Trial Tower before the three-day deadline.
  • Luo Fan realized that the Black Bird and the Nightmare Nekomata were not trial participants and could help scout for targets.
  • Tomeko panicked at the strength of the Weirds, but the Qipao Weird silenced her and asked Luo Fan for a plan.
  • Luo Fan explained that the group needed four more totems and said he had advantages suited to fighting the powerful Weirds, then began to reveal them.

Ch. 641The very first one was a Rule-Type Weird?

Luo Fan explained why his team could survive the trial and led them toward the Tower, where they encountered a rule-type Farmer Weird. After it sealed Tomeko’s abilities, Luo Fan tried to stun it from behind, but Sap had no effect.

  • Luo Fan pointed to the team's cooperation, their ability to move in sunlight, and their rule-based skills as advantages over the other trial participants.
  • The group set out toward the Tower, using Black Bird and Nightmare Nekomata to scout while Luo Fan followed under his Invisibility Cloak.
  • Nightmare Nekomata warned the group about a Farmer Weird carrying a huge sickle in a forest clearing.
  • Farmer Weird spoke, revealing itself as a rule-type Weird, and its Vision Sealing power prevented Tomeko from using her skills or Uncanny Artifacts.
  • Qipao Weird moved to protect Tomeko and An Xiaoran while Luo Fan crept behind Farmer Weird and struck its head with Sap.
  • Farmer Weird barely reacted to the blow, leaving Luo Fan stunned that Sap had failed completely.

Ch. 642The weight of rule skills!

Luo Fan realized An Xiaoran’s transformed Healing Cross could suppress the Farmer Weird despite its immunity to control, and he helped create an opening with sunlight. The Farmer Weird ended the chapter pinned to the ground, while An Xiaoran and the Qipao Weird stood over it.

  • Luo Fan dodged the Farmer Weird’s devastating scythe strike and told An Xiaoran to transform and use her cross.
  • An Xiaoran transformed into a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old girl and wielded an empowered Healing Cross against the Farmer Weird.
  • The Qipao Weird used Time Reversal to weaken the Farmer Weird while An Xiaoran’s cross strikes slowed and pressured it.
  • Luo Fan mimicked Mo Yuling and used Space-Time Scission to expose the Farmer Weird to sunlight as it tried to escape.
  • An Xiaoran intercepted the Farmer Weird beyond the sunlight and pinned it down with her cross, overcoming its immunity to control.

Ch. 643The Weirds Hunting Luo Fan!

Luo Fan’s group killed a sixth-tier lizard Weird and secured another Yin Fish totem, then hid underground as dawn approached. Elsewhere on the island, a golden-eyed Humanoid Weird identified Luo Fan’s location and planned to approach him after dark.

  • Luo Fan killed the restrained Farmer Weird with Triple Shot and took its Rule-Type Weird Crystal.
  • An Xiaoran gave Luo Fan the Farmer Weird’s Yin Fish totem, completing his Taiji Diagram and qualifying him to enter the Trial Tower.
  • Luo Fan estimated that at least a hundred Weirds were competing on the island and decided to hunt for Yang Fish totems after resting.
  • The group used Petrification Bait and An Xiaoran’s Healing Cross to trap a level-62 lizard Weird, then Luo Fan killed it and collected its Weird Crystal and Yin Fish totem for An Xiaoran.
  • As dawn neared, Luo Fan dug an underground hiding place where the group could rest until dark.
  • A golden-eyed Humanoid Weird watched Luo Fan’s direction and said it would meet him after nightfall.

Ch. 644The best time to kill Weirds? Daytime, of course~

Luo Fan took Tomeko out to hunt Weirds and search for Yang Fish Totems while An Xiaoran and the others remained in the shelter. After finding only one surplus Yin Fish Totem, Luo Fan discovered a powerful sixth-tier Weird in a cave and entered alone to fight it.

  • Luo Fan left An Xiaoran, the Qipao Weird, and the Nightmare Nekomata in the shelter while he and Tomeko searched Fallen Sea Island aboard Black Bird.
  • Luo Fan used the Far-Sensing Wave Hat to find and kill eight Weirds, collecting their crystals and corpses, but found only one trial participant carrying a Yin Fish Totem.
  • As evening approached, Tomeko spotted a concealed cave behind a thick patch of vines on the mountainside.
  • Luo Fan sensed a powerful sixth-tier Weird inside, told Tomeko to wait outside, and entered the cave with his Wraith Short Sword.

Ch. 645Rule Skill, Killing Blow!

Luo Fan entered a cavern and fought a level 63 giant lizard Weird, using Petrification Bait and a pre-set Sealing Trap to create openings. After building God-Tier Enchanting and Killing Blow to 100 stacks, he dodged the Weird’s bite and struck toward the glowing weak point on its body.

  • Luo Fan found the sleeping giant lizard Weird in a cavern and set an invisible Sealing Trap near the entrance.
  • When the Weird detected him, Luo Fan used Petrification Bait to briefly turn it to stone and fired two canisters of Pear Blossom Needle Storm, raising both skills to 85 stacks.
  • The Weird broke free and charged, but Luo Fan led it into the Sealing Trap, which temporarily sealed its power.
  • Luo Fan’s sword could not pierce the Weird’s thick scales, so he fired a third canister of needles and brought both skills to 100 stacks.
  • A golden weak-point mark appeared below the Weird’s neck, and Luo Fan dodged its bite and thrust his Wraith Short Sword toward the mark.

Ch. 646The Sixth-Tier Weird Died, but There Was No Weird Crystal?

Luo Fan killed a sixth-tier Giant Lizard Weird with Killing Blow, but its corpse vanished without leaving a weird crystal or Yin-Yang Fish Totem. After returning to the cave and discussing possible explanations with Qipao Weird, he heard a Humanoid Weird outside call for him to come out.

  • Luo Fan killed the Giant Lizard Weird with Killing Blow, but its body dissolved and left no weird crystal or totem.
  • Luo Fan and Tomeko returned to the underground cave, where An Xiaoran reported that nothing unusual had happened.
  • Luo Fan told Qipao Weird about the missing spoils, and she suggested the crystal might have been removed by a contingency or that the Weird might still be alive.
  • Luo Fan and Qipao Weird discussed their remaining Yin-Yang Fish patterns and hoped to collect them during the final two nights.
  • A Humanoid Weird arrived at the cave entrance and called for Luo Fan to come out.

Ch. 647A new use for Mimicry: gathering intelligence!

Luo Fan and his companions confronted a Sixth-Tier Weird whose rule nullified any rule acting on itself, rendering the Qipao Weird’s Time Reversal and Luo Fan’s Petrification Bait useless. Mimicry revealed the Weird’s defensive ability, but Luo Fan realized his team would have to fight it without their rule-based powers.

  • A horned, aristocratic Weird called Luo Fan out and said it had been sent to kill him because of his role in the battle of Hong City.
  • The Qipao Weird attacked with Time Reversal, but the Weird nullified her rule and overpowered her.
  • Luo Fan’s Petrification Bait also failed, and his Monitoring Glasses identified the opponent as a Level 65 rule-mastery Weird.
  • Luo Fan used Mimicry to copy the Weird’s appearance and learned that its rule nullified every rule that acted upon itself.
  • Luo Fan concluded that rule-based skills and weapons would be ineffective, leaving his Fourth-Tier team facing the Sixth-Tier opponent with only physical abilities and other non-rule skills.

Ch. 648Luo Fan's only chance to turn the tables!

Luo Fan and his companions were overwhelmed by the nobleman Weird, whose control-level rule nullified attacks that acted on it. With the team gravely injured, Luo Fan used Mimicry to become Mo Yuling and unleashed Space-Time Scission, sending deadly sunlight toward the Weird in a last attempt to defeat it.

  • The nobleman Weird easily battered Luo Fan, An Xiaoran, Tomeko, and the Qipao Weird, rendering their rule-based attacks ineffective.
  • Luo Fan charged again, but the Weird stopped him and hurled him away; Tomeko’s Flowing Water Slash was likewise defeated, and the Weird shattered An Xiaoran’s Healing Cross.
  • The Qipao Weird burned her essence to reverse time on herself and attack at her peak, but the nobleman Weird struck her down with pure strength.
  • Luo Fan offered to go with the Weird, but it revealed that it had come to kill him and raised its hand to strike.
  • Luo Fan activated Mimicry to become Mo Yuling and used Space-Time Scission to open a fissure that poured noon sunlight onto the nobleman Weird.

Ch. 649Why risk your life for a few hundred a month?

Luo Fan used sunlight and a bluff to drive off the sixth-tier young noble Weird after the enemy’s rules suppressed their skills. With the Qipao Weird wounded and his companions exhausted, Luo Fan realized he needed to strengthen his own Sequence Level.

  • Luo Fan’s Space-Time Scission exposed the young noble Weird to sunlight and badly injured him, but the Weird escaped its range.
  • Luo Fan bluffed that he could use Space-Time Scission again and threatened the young noble Weird with a bottle containing stored sunlight, forcing him to leave.
  • An Xiaoran treated the badly wounded Qipao Weird until her condition stabilized, then stopped before exhausting herself.
  • Luo Fan reflected on his weakness without rule-based skills and resolved to raise his Sequence Level.
  • A system notification appeared before Luo Fan.

Ch. 650This Weird was actually still alive?

Luo Fan's group searched the island for the remaining Yang Fish Totems, avoiding powerful threats and passing up a Fifth-Tier Weird that offered no trial reward. Near dawn, Luo Fan spotted the Giant Lizard Weird he had killed the day before, alive again, and decided to follow it toward the Tower to learn how it had resurrected.

  • Luo Fan's group detoured around a Seventh-Tier three-eyed lion and a Sixth-Tier humanoid Weird while searching for trial participants.
  • Luo Fan refused Tomeko's suggestion to fight a Fifth-Tier octopus Weird because it had no Yin-Yang Fish Totem and fighting it would waste time.
  • Luo Fan reflected on how difficult it was to guide a group safely through the Apocalypse and checked the time, finding it was 4:17 a.m. with neither Yang Fish Totem found.
  • Luo Fan recognized a Sixth-Tier Giant Lizard Weird as the same creature he had killed with Killing Blow the previous day, noting that its wounds matched his attacks.
  • Luo Fan told the Qipao Weird and Tomeko about the lizard's return, then decided to follow it toward the Tower and investigate how it had come back to life.
