Ch. 181Baby, time for some ice~

Wuren led the Kaguya clan through the forest in search of the Haku, learning from a villager how Kirigakure had devastated the civilians’ lives. He reached the Haku’s territory and prepared to wake Takahashi Yū for a fight.

  • Wuren stopped a frightened villager and asked him to guide the Kaguya clan through the forest.
  • The villager explained that ninja had barred civilians from fishing, destroyed their boats, and killed people who went to the shore.
  • Wuren gave the villager food and hurried off with his clansmen toward the destination the villager had indicated.
  • Wuren sensed the Haku nearby, halted the group, and told his clansmen to wake Takahashi Yū for popsicles.

Ch. 182The Yuki Clan: Battle Begins

Takahashi Yū led the Kaguya clan into battle against the Yuki clan, whose Clan Head, Cui Zhi, froze the grounds and organized a defense. Takahashi smashed through their ice barricade, and as the clans clashed, Cui Zhi attacked him with an explosive ice trick.

  • The Yuki clan mistook the Kaguya members’ unusual clothes for evidence of a robbery as both sides gathered for another fight.
  • Cui Zhi used Ice Release: Cold Wind to freeze the battlefield, and Takahashi Yū rallied the Kaguya with Killing Intent Link.
  • Cui Zhi and the Yuki front line raised interlocking ice pillars into a barricade and thrust it toward the charging Kaguya.
  • Takahashi Yū blasted through the ice wall with Dump Truck Charge, sending shards into the Yuki ranks and causing heavy casualties.
  • Cui Zhi ordered some Yuki to escort the elderly and children to shelter, then led his elites to attack Takahashi.
  • Cui Zhi kicked Takahashi with an ice-covered leg that exploded into shards against his face, while the surrounding Yuki elites prepared to strike.

Ch. 183Takahashi Yū Was Running Out of Time

Takahashi Yū defeated Cui Zhi, forcing the Yuki Clan to surrender, but discovered that he and Wuren were becoming translucent and might be expelled from this world. As more Kaguya fighters arrived, he sent the Bone Freaks to deal with them and hurried toward the Yuki clan grounds to obtain a map of the Land of Water.

  • Takahashi Yū broke free of Cui Zhi’s ice and shattered Cui Zhi’s right leg with an axe kick.
  • The Yuki Clan’s elite rescued Cui Zhi with Ice Release techniques, and Cui Zhi surrendered on behalf of his clan.

  • At the Rōran ruins, Kaguya Ichifuku sneezed and wondered why there seemed to be fewer people in Rōran.

Ch. 184The endgame begins

Takahashi Yū recruited the Yuki Clan and Kaguya Clan for a direct assault on Kirigakure, while sending Shimura Danzō a letter warning him about future events and key figures. He ended the chapter announcing a simple three-step battle plan: locate Kirigakure, walk there, and fight.

  • Takahashi Yū renamed Haku Cuizhi “Aokiji” and had him activate Danzo’s summoning scroll to send a letter about the Naruto plot and people Danzo should watch.
  • Takahashi Yū studied the Land of Water map and ordered the Yuki Clan to block both ends of the strait so Kirigakure’s deserters could not escape.
  • Wuren returned with battered Takeori clan members after defeating them, and Takahashi Yū stopped him from striking their apparent Clan Head.
  • Takahashi Yū told the Kaguya Brutes and Takeori clan members that they would attack Kirigakure directly instead of slowly working toward it.
  • Takahashi Yū laid out his battle plan: pinpoint Kirigakure’s location, walk there, and start fighting.

Ch. 185Kirigakure!

After reading Takahashi Yū’s warning, Danzo changed his plans and hurried toward Kirigakure. Meanwhile, Takahashi Yū led Kaguya clansmen in an attack on the village, prompting the Third Mizukage to mobilize against the suspected Yuki and Kaguya clans.

  • Danzo read Takahashi Yū’s letter, resolved to spare Minato’s son and Fugaku’s second son, and ordered Ryoma to speed their ship toward Kirigakure.
  • Takahashi Yū led the Kaguya clansmen toward Kirigakure while leaving weaker fighters behind at the Yuki Clan’s compound.
  • Takahashi Yū launched several trees at Kirigakure to announce the attack and give civilians a chance to evacuate.
  • The Third Mizukage learned the attack came from the direction of the Yuki Clan’s compound and discovered that patrols there had been withdrawn months earlier.
  • The Third Mizukage ordered Karatachi Yagura to lead a team and kill every attacker, then set out himself to investigate the Yuki and Kaguya clans.

Ch. 186Use techniques with caution!

Takahashi Yū led the Kaguya Brutes toward Kirigakure and unleashed a devastating clash after Yagura used his Water Mirror Technique. The resulting black energy sphere engulfed the village outskirts, and the Third Mizukage’s attempt to stop it failed before the sphere suddenly began to contract.

  • Takahashi Yū rallied his followers and charged the Mist Ninja guarding Kirigakure, while his stomp knocked nearby Kaguya clansmen down.
  • Yagura used Water Release: Water Mirror Technique, but the copied attack drained his chakra and life energy as Takahashi Yū’s punch struck him.
  • A half-bodied copy of Takahashi Yū emerged from the mirror and met his punch, producing a massive explosion that scattered the clouds and formed a growing black sphere.
  • Wuren pulled the Kaguya Brutes away as the sphere consumed the surrounding forest and advanced toward Kirigakure.
  • The Third Mizukage used Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave and ordered a retreat, but the black sphere engulfed the village outskirts.
  • The black sphere suddenly contracted toward its center, drawing its dark-red substance inward.

Ch. 187Unyielding Was Still Dishing Out Damage!

Ch. 188He was up-and one strike finished him!

Takahashi Yū killed the Third Mizukage and terrorized the Mist Ninja, drawing Hozuki Mangetsu into the battle and destroying Hiramekarei. He left Mangetsu alive while reminding himself that two tailed beasts remained to be dealt with.

  • Takahashi Yū crushed the Third Mizukage's heart, severed his head, and displayed it to the Mist Ninja, causing some to surrender and others to attack in rage.
  • Takahashi Yū slaughtered the Mist Ninja who charged him as Ao watched through his Byakugan and Genji urged him to check for civilians and avoid sending more villagers to die.
  • Hozuki Mangetsu attacked Takahashi Yū with Hiramekarei, but Takahashi caught the blade and countered Mangetsu's strike with a kick.
  • Takahashi Yū smashed Hiramekarei with one punch, leaving Mangetsu grieving over the broken blade.
  • Takahashi Yū decided not to kill Mangetsu and reminded himself that two tailed beasts were still left.

Ch. 189This was a massacre!

Takahashi Yū tore through Kirigakure’s forces while Genji struggled to organize the village’s defense after the Mizukage’s death. The Water Release Unit’s attack failed to slow Takahashi Yū, who pursued them through a water wall toward the village outskirts.

  • Takahashi Yū slaughtered Mist Ninja while Wuren watched, and he wondered why the Tailed Beasts had not been brought to the battlefield.
  • Genji killed a faction leader who opposed sending troops into battle, then ordered the forces to drive Takahashi Yū out of the village and told both Jinchūriki to prepare to die.
  • Takahashi Yū demanded to know where the Six-Tails and Three-Tails were while fighting off more Mist Ninja.
  • The Water Release Unit struck Takahashi Yū with a Water Dragon Bullet, but the attack only washed the blood from him.
  • The Water Release Unit retreated toward Location One as some Mist Ninja stayed behind to cover their escape.
  • Takahashi Yū smashed through the Water Formation Wall and closed in on the ninja who had stayed behind.

Ch. 190Yū!

Takahashi Yū slaughtered the Kirigakure bait force, then used his killing intent to drive the Six-Tails and Three-Tails Jinchūriki into rampages. After their hosts died and the beasts emerged, he redirected their Tailed Beast Bombs into a massive explosion near Kirigakure, leaving Genji and the surviving ninja stunned.

  • Takahashi Yū massacred the Kirigakure ninja serving as bait and confronted the Six-Tails and Three-Tails Jinchūriki.
  • The two Jinchūriki entered partial Tailed Beast forms and attacked Takahashi Yū, who seized them and invaded their minds and sealed beasts with killing intent.
  • The Jinchūriki lost consciousness and died as the Six-Tails and Three-Tails broke free and rampaged in their perfect forms.
  • Takahashi Yū drew the beasts' attention, and they began forming Tailed Beast Bombs.

Ch. 192Hokage Danzo really wanted to send Killing Intent Danzo a message...

Takahashi Yū returned from another Shinobi World to find that two months had passed and the Land of Wind had become a poisoned battlefield. He told Brother Danzo about the other world and Killing Intent Danzo’s plans, leaving Hokage Danzo worried that his counterpart intended an extreme “sustainable development plan.”

  • Takahashi Yū woke in Rōran and reunited with Brother Danzo, who explained that the Dragon Vein had been sealed gradually and that two months had passed.
