After arranging the time and place of the trading meeting with Lilia, Scarface hurried off with his teammates, apparently to contact potential trading partners.
Of course, Lin Yuan could guess why Scarface was so enthusiastic.
A trading meeting needed both demand and supply to happen.
With the unexpected incident at the Party and the heavy casualties among the Hunters, Keys were in short supply, so the originally planned trading meeting would certainly be difficult to hold.
If Scarface showed up at a time like this with a major supplier of Keys, plenty of Rats and Hunters with surplus Blueprint Boxes would fight tooth and nail to attend.
And naturally, Scarface could profit from it.
Lin Yuan had no objection, though. It was a win-win arrangement to begin with.
Scarface still needed some time to organize the meeting, so Lin Yuan had Lilia search the top floor for Blueprint Boxes a little longer. After all, even the smallest gains still counted.
At the appointed time, Lilia appeared punctually at a street corner on Commercial Street, dragging the Coffin.
A medium-sized restaurant stood on the corner, operated by puppets.
Normally, all players could come and go freely here, but several players were now standing at the restaurant entrance like guards, blocking other players from entering.
Lilia recognized the people at the entrance as Scarface's subordinates.
Presumably, this restaurant was the venue for the trading meeting.
Lilia walked over and happened upon several players who had been stopped outside arguing with Scarface's subordinates.
There was nothing particularly substantive to the argument. One side wanted to enter, and the other refused to let them.
But as soon as Lilia approached, Scarface's teammates recognized her. Abandoning the argument, they all snapped to attention and shouted:
"Welcome, Miss Lilia!"
They looked like an honor guard.
