The Uchiha jonin flew backward, crashing through tree after tree and smashing a path straight through the forest.
He collapsed helplessly on the ground.
Hyuga Akira had already snapped the branch beneath his feet with the force of his step. He shot toward the Uchiha jonin like an arrow, black-blue flames erupting around him and forming a spinning top, its sharpest point crashing toward the jonin.
Unexpectedly, a smile appeared on the gravely wounded Uchiha's face, even though the attack before him could take his life.
He still grinned. "You saw them."

The badly wounded Uchiha before him suddenly vanished. Instead, countless wood fragments drifted to the ground.
The Uchiha appeared behind Hyuga Akira, completely unharmed, the kunai in his hand about to slice across Hyuga Akira's neck.
"My eyes."
Hyuga Akira's pupils contracted. Flames erupted from his body, forcing his opponent to abandon the attack and retreat. If he stayed, the flames would burn him to ashes.
He rapidly formed hand seals. "Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
He blew forcefully toward Hyuga Akira, spitting out four fire dragons that rushed at him and sealed off every escape route.
Hyuga Akira opened his mouth and inhaled deeply. All the fire dragons actually surged toward his mouth, and he devoured them all.
"Flame Devour."
"He actually ate them!!" The Uchiha's expression changed. Was this guy's body really human?
Hyuga Akira exhaled a mouthful of flame.
"Only ten percent converted?"
Level-one Flame Devour could only convert ten percent of the fire dragons into chakra.
The Uchiha sneered. "I'm not finished yet."
A mass of crimson flames erupted from Hyuga Akira's body and enveloped him. An intense burning sensation spread over him.
When did he use fire release? I didn't notice it at all.
