He had already spent two years on this and had one year left. If he failed to complete the mission, his chakra would be reset to zero.
He had originally hoped to persuade Danzo to help.
What a shame.
The guy had his eyes fixed on the seat under Hiruzen Sarutobi's ass.
Chapter 251: Improving his strength
Hyuga Akira took stock of his current fighting methods.
His mainstays were Yin Release, Fire Release, and his Nen Ability. Those three skills were his primary force.
Then he had the buffs and support skills: Byakugan, Demon Form, Clone Technique, Transformation Technique, Substitution Technique, Bear Grappling Fist, and Naufra.
Naufra had now become one of his regularly active skills. With its enhancement, he became a sophisticated computer.
With every buff active, he could probably last half an hour. During that half hour, he could fight on par with a Kage.
Although he couldn't match a Kage's destructive power, holding his own against one would be no problem. He even had a chance of winning.
That was only his estimate, though. No Kage had fought him. Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō both claimed they were busy, and Hatake Sakumo was nowhere to be found.
Orochimaru was buried deep underground at Root, Tsunade couldn't get away from Konoha Hospital, and Jiraiya hadn't returned yet.
The main thing was that Naufra's calculations allowed him to achieve the greatest gains with the least effort.
For now, he decided to level up his Nen Ability and Fire Release first.
