With the energy's support, the forging sounds from the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace instantly grew rapid and violent.
It was as though heaven and earth were being tempered inside the furnace, as though a supreme treasure was being born.
A monotonous yet terrifying bout of devouring began again.
The Red-Clothed Female Ghost and the White-Clothed Love Letter Ghost kept carrying food over, the Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner kept devouring and converting it, and the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace kept absorbing energy and forging.
Round after round.
Once the Ancient House's food was devoured, it immediately reset;
after resetting, it was devoured again.
The cycle repeated without end.
This frenzy continued for three full days.
Sitting cross-legged, Yang Yong was even starting to doze off.

Behind the doors were people who were impossibly old, skeletal, and unable even to move.
Their skin was wrinkled like tree bark, their eyes cloudy and dull, their signs of life faint to the extreme.
Clearly, they were all people who had eaten the Ancient House's food and had nearly all their lifespan gnawed away.

The six former Doomsday Convoy members who had joined the group later suddenly pointed at one of the open rooms and cried out:
"That's our captain!"
"And the convoy's Transcendents!"
