"Huh?"
Mang Dabiao's eyes lit up when he saw the vehicle.
"Isn't this the one we saw parked by the road last night?"
"I was wondering how it could still be so clean more than three months into the apocalypse."
As Mang Dabiao spoke, he noticed everyone looking at him.
His voice grew faint. "What... is there something strange about it?"
Yang Yong irritably rapped him on the head.
"It drove here by itself. There's no one aboard. And its wheels weren't moving when it came over."
"Holy crap!"
Mang Dabiao instantly zigzagged away, slipping behind Yang Yong.
Even his snake tail went rigid with fright.
Yang Yong promptly rapped him on the head twice more.
"Take a look. See if you can spot anything different about this bus."
Mang Dabiao looked thoroughly reluctant, but he still circled the Route 14 bus several times.
He even crawled underneath to look.
Finally...
He actually boarded it.
Yang Yong and the others were taken aback.
But considering how tough Mang Dabiao was, and how many secrets he harbored, they did not stop him.
They let Mang Dabiao board the bus and wander around inside.
Everyone watched from outside.
They watched his enormous serpentine body slowly slither through the bus.
The hooligan snake sniffed and sniffed inside.
His forked tongue flicked in and out, tracing circles in the air.
He even seemed a little intoxicated.
Yang Yong was surprised, too.
He could actually make out an intoxicated expression on a snake's face.
Mang Dabiao crawled all over the interior, spending a good three or four minutes there.
Only when everyone was growing impatient did he come down.
"Well?"
Facing everyone's expectant gazes,
Mang Dabiao opened his mouth and uttered two words.
"Beautiful woman."
