"Aunt Lina!" Kakarot let out a grief-stricken roar, his eyes instantly filling with fury.
He felt as though an invisible hand had clenched his heart, the pain so intense he could barely breathe.
At that moment, the anger in his heart surged out like an erupting volcano.
Driven by this intense rage, Kakarot's body began to undergo a strange transformation.
The energy around him surged wildly. His aura, which had already grown faint, blazed up again, burning fiercer and fiercer.
His golden aura swirled madly around his body like tangible flames, giving off a deafening roar.
His hair grew longer at a visible rate. Already golden, it shone with golden light, every strand standing upright like burning flames.
His eyes also changed from gold to a brilliant emerald green, gleaming with a mesmerizing light.
A faint golden glow spread over his skin, his muscles bulged, and his entire body radiated a terrifying pressure.
Kakarot had successfully transformed into a Super Saiyan!
"Aah!" Kakarot threw his head back and roared at the sky. His roar brimmed with endless rage and grief, as though it would shatter the heavens.
He charged toward the CP0 Deputy Chief like a bolt of golden lightning, moving several times faster than before and leaving trails of afterimages behind him.
As the CP0 Deputy Chief looked at Kakarot in his Super Saiyan form, a flicker of fear crossed his eyes.
But he had no way out now and could only steel himself and meet the attack.
He once again coated his entire body in Armament Haki, also using Iron Body to bolster his defenses, because he knew he could not dodge and could only block Kakarot's attack.
Kakarot appeared before the CP0 Deputy Chief in an instant and drove a powerful golden straight punch hard into his chest.
The punch carried the terrifying power of a Super Saiyan, and the CP0 Deputy Chief felt as though a mountain had struck his chest.
His body flew backward like a cannonball, smashing through several enormous boulders before finally coming to a halt in the distance.
Without pausing for even a moment, Kakarot appeared before the CP0 Deputy Chief again like a phantom.
Rapidly forming a Tailed Beast Ball that radiated intense light between his hands, Kakarot roared, "Super Tailed Beast Ball!" and slammed it into the CP0 Deputy Chief.
The Tailed Beast Ball exploded instantly, its powerful energy reducing everything nearby to ashes. In that terrifying explosion, the CP0 Deputy Chief lost his life completely.
Afterward, Kakarot hurriedly plunged down beside Lina like a meteor, and his Super Saiyan form, which had just been blazing with a golden aura, instantly faded.
As though all his strength had been drained away, he collapsed to the ground in utter exhaustion.
At that moment, every inch of Kakarot's muscles felt as heavy as lead.
His legs were so weak that they could not even support him standing, and he could only lean against Lina's body, barely managing to remain seated.
Having suffered severe injuries earlier and then transformed into a Super Saiyan, he had severely overdrawn his body's energy, and every part of him hurt as though it were burning in a raging fire.
Every slight movement brought searing pain that pierced to his core, leaving him unable to move normally at all.
In his extreme weakness, his consciousness also grew hazy, and the world before his eyes seemed shrouded in mist.
Waves of dizziness washed over him one after another, nearly making him lose consciousness.
Moreover, with the energy in his body exhausted, his recovery had become unusually slow.
But even in such dire straits, a powerful conviction still burned in Kakarot's heart. He knew that Lina was gravely wounded and dying, and urgently needed his help.
Enduring the intense pain in his body and the haze clouding his consciousness, he recalled his powerful ability to recover.
He believed his blood might possess special abilities, and that was his last hope of saving Lina.
Kakarot reached out a trembling hand and, using the last scrap of strength left in his body, bit into his wrist.
Blood slowly flowed out. He brought his wrist to Lina's lips and said weakly, "Aunt Lina... my blood... might be able to save you..."
He hoped that the special cells that might exist in his blood could activate the dormant repair genes in Lina's cells, just as they activated his own potential;
he also hoped that the tenacious will transmitted through his blood could kindle a strong will to live in Lina, causing her to secrete more substances that would aid her recovery.
As Kakarot's blood slowly flowed into Lina's mouth, something miraculous happened.
Lina's breathing had been faint, her signs of life gradually fading like a candle in the wind, yet her vitality, which had been on the verge of draining away completely, miraculously stabilized.
Kakarot keenly sensed that, although Lina's heartbeat was still weak,
it was no longer the slow, lifeless beating it had been before. Instead, it gradually gained a trace of vitality and began to recover.
Sensing this change, Kakarot finally relaxed the brow he had furrowed in pain and worry, and the great weight hanging over his heart eased a little.
He knew that, thanks to the special power of Saiyan blood, Lina's life had been saved for the time being.
Meanwhile, on the nearby battlefield, Lilith, Iris, and the others felt a sudden surge of unease when they heard the tremendous noise coming from this direction.
Seeing that they held the advantage in the battle, they hurried toward the source of the sound without hesitation.
When they arrived, they saw Kakarot half-reclining weakly on the ground. Lina lay beside him, still unconscious, but her face was no longer as deathly pale as before.
Lilith hurried forward and asked anxiously, "Kakarot, how are you two? What happened?"
Kakarot raised his head slightly, told them to treat Aunt Lina immediately, and then passed out.
"My aunt will be all right, won't she?" Lilith said worriedly. Then she checked Kakarot over with the same concern.
Iris reassured her, "Lina's injuries are rather serious, but for some reason, her life isn't in danger.
Kakarot will definitely be fine. With his ability to recover, he'll get better very soon once he gets some nourishment."
"That's a relief!" Lilith let out a small sigh of relief.
They carefully lifted the gravely injured, unconscious Lina and Kakarot onto makeshift stretchers and hurried toward Cook's clinic.
After entrusting the two to Cook, Lilith and Iris wasted no time and rushed straight back to the battlefield.
By then, the situation on the battlefield had changed. The members of Cipher Pol had realized that their powerful Deputy Chief seemed to have been defeated.
Though filled with disbelief, their years of training allowed them to react quickly, and they began an orderly withdrawal.
As they fled with all their might, the members of the Mink Tribe did everything they could to stop them,
but their opponents were well trained. In the end, they only managed to hold back some of them, while a small number of Cipher Pol members still escaped.
Even so, the joy of victory surged through the hearts of the Mink Tribe like a tide.
They cheered, leaped for joy, and embraced one another, celebrating this hard-won victory.
Afterward, everyone quickly set to work treating the wounded.
To their relief, they discovered that very few of their people had died. Most had merely suffered broken limbs or been knocked unconscious.
Though they did not know why this was, they were happy that more of their companions had survived.
So everyone divided up the work and cooperated, giving the wounded emergency treatment in an orderly fashion, while relief at having survived the disaster filled the battlefield.
