His injuries had already been severe. A fall from such a height was hardly something he could easily withstand.
Fortunately, the Saiyan blood within him worked its magic. An endless stream of warmth flowed through his body, making his injuries heal at an astonishing speed.
Meanwhile, his strength slowly increased as well, seemingly keeping pace with his recovery until his injuries had completely healed.
Meanwhile, Iris found Pelosi, captain of the Forest Guard Squad, patrolling around the town.
Iris landed before him and greeted him warmly, "Good afternoon, Captain!
"A ten-year-old boy fell from the sky this morning while Zunesha was showering. After receiving treatment, he was adopted by Lina."
Pelosi frowned slightly and sank into thought. After a while, he raised his hand and gently rubbed his hard, rough chin.
"Hmm... there shouldn't be anything wrong with the little fellow, should there?" he said thoughtfully. "Let him stay at Boss Lina's house for now!
"That way, we can provide this child, who has no one to rely on, with a place to stay while also making it easier for us to observe him further and learn more about him."
Iris replied, "The little fellow's name is Saiya Kakarot. He's a monkey Mink who unfortunately ended up stranded far from home.
"It's just that his Mink blood is relatively thin,
"so aside from the conspicuous monkey tail behind him, he has almost no other obvious Mink features.
"But it's worth mentioning that although the little fellow looks small and skinny, his physical constitution is actually quite remarkable-far beyond that of an ordinary person!"
At this, Pelosi slowly nodded, a smile appearing on his face.
"Oh? So that's how it is!" he said. "In that case, there shouldn't be any major problems.
"Given Boss Lina's abilities and character, I'm sure she'll be able to handle things properly." With that, he turned and went back to his patrol.
Iris covered her mouth with a smile, then turned and flew toward the town.
"Kakarot, stop sleeping! Get up and have dinner." Lilith's pleasant voice came from beside him.
Kakarot got out of bed and discovered that he felt comfortable all over. All his injuries had healed, and his body brimmed with strength.
This is amazing! My injuries are all healed. Saiyan blood is incredible! Kakarot was filled with delight.
"Huh? Kakarot, your injuries seem to have all healed!" Lilith said, her eyes wide.
Kakarot smiled. "I've had a strong constitution since I was little. My body recovers very quickly."
With that, he took Lilith's hand and headed toward the dining room. The moment they stepped out the door, a tempting aroma greeted them, and Kakarot's stomach immediately growled despite himself.
"Kakarot, come and eat. From now on, tell Aunt Lina whenever there's something you want to eat. We're a family now."
Hearing them, Lina poked her head out of the dining room and spoke softly as she looked at Kakarot.
"That's right! You can tell your big sister Lilith what you want to eat, too. I'll take you out for all sorts of delicious food and drinks!" Lilith said playfully, blinking her large eyes.
Hearing this, Kakarot felt warmth well up inside him and was deeply moved.
He silently vowed, I'll protect you both from now on. I'll never let anyone hurt you in the slightest.
Kakarot raised his eyebrows. "Lilith, why don't I be the older brother instead? I'll definitely do everything I can to protect you."
"No! I want to be the older sister. Besides, I'm really strong, too. I can protect you just as well."
Lilith pouted and hurriedly objected, looking both adorable and stubborn.
Lina stood to the side, watching the two little ones bicker with a gentle gaze, as though she were looking at the most beautiful scene in life. A wave of happiness rose in her heart.
"All right, all right. Come and eat first. Don't let Kakarot go hungry."
Lina smiled beautifully as she called them over, her smile warming the two children's hearts like the spring sunshine.
The two happily sat down at the dining table. Kakarot looked at the lavish spread covering it, all vegetables and meats unique to Zou.
Though simply and plainly cooked, the food was full of the taste of home, and Kakarot ate with particular relish.
After dinner, Kakarot volunteered to help clear the table, working deftly.
Afterward, the three sat comfortably on the sofa as a cozy atmosphere slowly spread through the room.
"Aunt Lina, I have some questions I'd like to ask you. May I?" Kakarot asked, his face beaming.
The moment Lilith heard him, she rushed to speak first. "You can ask me, too! I know lots of things."
Lina smiled and nodded gently. "Of course. You can ask anything you like."
"What's today's date?" Kakarot asked.
"Today is March third, 1490 of the Sea Circle Calendar," Lilith answered eagerly.
Lina nodded along and teased, "Let Lilith answer whatever she knows. Otherwise, keeping it all in really will drive her crazy."
"I knew Mommy was the best! Kisses for Mommy, Karuchu!" Lilith said affectionately, hugging Lina with delight.
"That's fine. I just want to learn a few basic things," Kakarot replied,
then asked, "I noticed that some of the people in town have fur covering most of their skin, but people like you and me only have a little fur. Is that because of our bloodlines?"
"They're pure-blooded Minks. People like us are of mixed Mink and human ancestry," Lina patiently explained.
Kakarot nodded to show he understood.
Although Kakarot already knew most of this, he had to ask, because in theory, he wasn't supposed to know.
"Then what are the specifics about Zou, and what are some things I should watch out for?" Kakarot continued, his eyes full of a thirst for knowledge.
Lilith immediately perked up and began talking nonstop. "Zou is in the New World, built on the back of a thousand-year-old elephant.
"Its location changes as the elephant moves, so it's hard to find using a Log Pose.
"We live in the town of the Mokomo Dukedom. There are residential areas, commercial areas, warehouses, and so on. The island has vast forests, like the Whale Forest, the Right Buttock Forest, and the Left Belly Forest.
"The trees in the forests are tall and dense, with an especially rich variety of vegetation. There are lots of unusual flowers and plants, too.
"But the Whale Forest is forbidden territory. Entering it is absolutely prohibited."
After finishing, Lilith looked at Lina, her eyes seeming to ask whether there was anything to add.
"Lilith explained that very well," Lina affirmed softly with a slight smile.
Then she added, "But Zunesha brings the rain of blessings twice every day. You need to watch out for that.
"And most importantly, you must wear your hat properly during a full moon. Never look directly at the moon, or you'll transform into Sulong form. That's extremely dangerous."
"I'll remember, Aunt Lina," Kakarot said solemnly, even though he already knew all of this inside out.
"I know, Mommy," Lilith replied casually, her mind seemingly already wandering elsewhere.
"Thank you, Auntie, and thank you, Lilith. I don't have anything else to ask right now."
"Then you two should hurry along and take a bath, and get ready for bed," Lina said, glancing at the drowsy Lilith.
That night, Kakarot lay in bed, thinking.
I've noticed my memory has improved. I actually remember information about the One Piece world perfectly clearly. I'll have to use this advantage of knowing things in advance to make my way on the seas.
It's now 1490 of the Sea Circle Calendar. There are still seven years until Roger becomes the Pirate King, but that doesn't have much to do with me.
Forget it, forget it. I'm only ten right now. There's no point thinking about this. Starting tomorrow, I'll look around the island for places where I can train.
With my bloodline, starting to train now won't affect my growth.
Enough thinking. Time to sleep.
In another quiet room, soft light spilled down as Lina gently held the already sleeping Lilith, deep in thought.
Kakarot truly is an extraordinarily gifted child. The potential hidden in his body is simply immeasurable.
Not only did his injuries heal so quickly, but his physical strength keeps increasing, too.
And although he's young, he's very levelheaded. With him around, there'll be someone to help take care of Lilith in the future.
Full of affection, Lina gently pressed close to Lilith's cheek, the corners of her lips lifting slightly.
She chuckled softly and murmured, "Lilith, you'll have a rival from now on.
"But looking at it another way, you also have someone who can protect you sincerely.
"I hope you can grow up happily together, support each other, and spend wonderful days here on Zou."
Good night!
