The Ferris Wheel was the tallest structure in all of Evernight Sky. Looking out over the nightscape from its very top was one of Evernight Sky's must-do attractions, as voted on the Star Network.
So when Sheng Nian and Yan Feizhuo arrived, quite a few people were there to ride the Ferris Wheel.
Ye Heng, Jiang Shu, He Gu, and Tang Jiang were all there. Apparently, like them, they wanted to finish one last task before meeting up.
At the sight of Jiang Shu, Sheng Nian switched on his acting mode again.
He put on a look of delighted surprise. "Jiang Shu, you're here too! What a coincidence."
Perhaps because he had misunderstood Sheng Nian the previous two times, Jiang Shu actually looked unusually friendly when he saw him this time. He replied gently, "Yes. Are you here to do the task too?"
Sheng Nian nodded happily, as though exchanging just a couple of words with him could brighten his entire day.
Yan Feizhuo clicked his tongue in displeasure, making Sheng Nian turn to look at him in puzzlement.
"What's wrong?" he leaned closer to ask in a whisper.
From Jiang Shu's perspective, the Omega and Alpha were standing very close, their proximity incredibly intimate.
He frowned, then suddenly said, "He Gu, since we've run into him, you should apologize to Sheng Nian."
He Gu's expression stiffened, and Sheng Nian turned back in surprise too. Neither had expected Jiang Shu to say that at this moment.
Now that he had spoken, He Gu would break character if he tried to wriggle out of it.
Left with no choice, he stepped forward and said with deep remorse, "Sheng Nian, I'm really sorry. I honestly didn't think that much when I looked at the photos earlier. Can you forgive me?"
Sheng Nian inwardly rolled his eyes. What do you mean, "Can you forgive me?" Saying that on camera makes me look unforgiving if I don't.
His thoughts shifted, and he came up with a good idea.
Sheng Nian's eyes reddened a little again, as though he had remembered what happened during the day.
He shook his head slightly. "It's all right. But, He Gu, shouldn't you apologize to Feizhuo too? Looking at someone else's photos without their permission really isn't very nice."
He heavily emphasized "really isn't very nice," successfully making He Gu's expression darken further.
But if He Gu wanted to maintain his persona, he couldn't look displeased. Instead, he had to try even harder to win Yan Feizhuo's forgiveness.
"President Yan, I truly didn't mean any harm. Could you..."
Before he could finish, Yan Feizhuo interrupted coldly, "No. I'm under no obligation to forgive you."
Unlike the others, Yan Feizhuo didn't need to worry about his image on camera. He was a big shot himself, and would never have appeared on this show if not for Sheng Nian, so he couldn't be bothered to listen to He Gu prattle on.
Besides, who knew how many times this person had bullied Sheng Nian behind the scenes? Yan Feizhuo even threw his gentlemanly manners toward Omegas to the back of his mind, truly refusing to spare him any dignity.
After that retort, He Gu could no longer keep up his expression. His face flushed red with humiliation and anger.

Jiang Shu declared righteously, "I simply can't stand you being so petty and bullying an Omega."

Yan Feizhuo scoffed. "Who are you? What makes you think you're qualified to object to how I do things?"
"To be blunt, even your father isn't qualified to say 'I can't stand it' to my face."
Jiang Shu bristled. "You!"
"Jiang Shu!"
He Gu shook his head at him. "You don't have to do this for me. I-I'm fine with anything. Don't offend President Yan."
At this point, Jiang Shu's fans in the livestream chat also joined the battle against Yan Feizhuo.
[What's he so full of himself for?]
[That expression is so obnoxious. What does he have to be so arrogant about?!]

Sheng Nian nodded. "Yes, apologize, or I won't talk to you anymore!"

Yan Feizhuo strode over to Jiang Shu with his lofty bearing and said in a flat tone, "I was wrong. I hurt your pride. I apologize."
There wasn't a shred of sincerity in his words. Instead, he had taken another sarcastic jab at Jiang Shu.
"Jiang Shu, I told him off for you. He's apologized now, so don't be angry."
Jiang Shu felt as though he might cough up blood, while Sheng Nian, who had followed them over, was still seeking credit.
"All right, you little brat. I stood up for you and got a lecture from you for it, and I'm not even angry yet."
With that, Yan Feizhuo pulled Sheng Nian away.
Sheng Nian stumbled from the tug, but still turned back to say goodbye to Jiang Shu.
