After Sheng Nian finished his solo interview, the other guests took their turns being interviewed.

The Production Team asked much the same questions.

The guests' answers, however, varied wildly.

When asked, "Why did you come on a dating show?" Mo Yuanyuan beamed dreamily. "There are so many gorgeous men and women here. I'm all about looks, so this show is perfect for me!"

Director Ren burst out laughing. "Then I should be glad I invited good-looking guests. Otherwise, Yuanyuan wouldn't have come, and I'd be down someone who could smooth things over."

Mo Yuanyuan's eyes widened. "So I'm just here to keep things running smoothly?"

Qi Xiao raised his notched eyebrow, his tone casual. "I heard Mo Yuanyuan was coming on this show. I happened to get an invitation too, so I agreed."

Director Ren exchanged a look with the producer. Sheng Nian had really called it: this young wolf was going to carry Mo Yuanyuan back to his den.

Jiang Shu's answer was much like Mu Ran's. One said his company had required it, and the other said his manager had required it. Director Ren was rather speechless.

"You know this will get your footage cut, right?"

Neither of them particularly cared.

Ye Heng had come for He Gu, and his intentions were clear in everything he said.

Tang Jiang, meanwhile, took a playful approach to life. "Of course I came on a dating show to fall in love. As long as I feel a spark, any type will do."

Chu Yue, Nie Ge, and He Gu gave very polished answers. The gist was that they had come on the dating show to meet new friends and expand their social circles. Of course, if they met their destined partner, they would bravely take that first step toward love.

The last was Yan Feizhuo. Director Ren always felt a little out of his depth with him. He figured it would be fine even if Yan Feizhuo gave perfunctory answers; they could just cut all his footage anyway.

To his surprise, Yan Feizhuo answered the question very seriously.

"I came to chase the moon."

Given his behavior over the past few days, it went without saying who his moon was.

Director Ren and the producer were both a little surprised. When Sheng Nian had chosen Yan Feizhuo as his romantic partner on the first day, they hadn't expected Yan Feizhuo to agree to join the show. Even after he joined, they hadn't expected him to actually fall for Sheng Nian.

They had never heard of any prior connection between Sheng Nian and Yan Feizhuo. Could it really have been love at first sight?

When asked about her impressions of the other guests, Mo Yuanyuan spread her affection evenly, commenting impartially on everyone's good looks without repeating a single compliment. Her verbal skills were well worth the Production Team learning from.

Director Ren and the producer: "..."

"Enough, enough. Those who know understand you're here for a dating show. Anyone who doesn't would think you're choosing consorts."

Mo Yuanyuan huffed. "I call this having an eye for beauty!"

Qi Xiao mostly talked about Mo Yuanyuan, offering few comments on anyone else.

Ye Heng did much the same, mainly discussing He Gu. However, when he mentioned Sheng Nian, there was a hint of exasperation and contempt as he criticized him for not knowing how to use resources to achieve his goals.

Listening to him, Director Ren felt he probably wanted to call Sheng Nian an idiot but held back because of the cameras.

What an arrogant and rude assessment.

Mu Ran gave his impressions of everyone very earnestly. After listening, Director Ren asked with a smile, "How do you feel about people saying that you coming on a dating show is like an honest man throwing caution to the wind?"

Mu Ran: "..."

Looking utterly defeated, he said, "My feeling is that I hope my manager can tell me before signing a contract for a variety show next time..."

Chu Yue, Nie Ge, and He Gu were prime examples of polished public speakers. Their comments were all very polite, and their words only became slightly more intimate when they spoke about their partners from the first stage.

"A wonderful surprise..."

When Tang Jiang's turn came, she began with an ambiguous remark. "I didn't expect the Production Team to invite such interesting guests. Mo Yuanyuan and Qi Xiao have great chemistry, like a squabbling young couple next door. Ye Heng? A lunatic. Mu Ran's a silly goose. As for Chu Yue and Nie Ge..."

She rubbed her chin, as though she had discovered something, and smiled enigmatically. "They're a great match."

"He Gu and Jiang Shu are a great match too, in every sense." Her expression was somewhat disdainful when she said this, and she didn't seem to root for the pairing.

"Sheng Sheng Nian is the biggest surprise I've had coming on this show. I've found inspiration for next season's designs in him. I believe that if I spend a little more time with our young man during the next stage, I'll be able to put on my show next season."

Surprised by how highly she thought of Sheng Nian, Director Ren asked, "So Sheng Nian is your muse?"

Tang Jiang snapped her fingers. "Absolutely right!"

Director Ren asked, "And what's your impression of Mr. Yan?"

Tang Jiang frowned and delivered her verdict. "A romantic rival who might assassinate me at any moment."

Director Ren laughed. "Then you'd better watch yourself, Tang Jiang."

Jiang Shu and Yan Feizhuo were the last two. Ren Tao hadn't expected to hear two completely different assessments of Sheng Nian from them.

"He Gu is very understanding, gentle, and resilient. He embodies every omega trait..."

When Jiang Shu came to Sheng Nian, he spoke as he recalled things. "Sheng Nian isn't like He Gu. He's very spoiled and unreasonable. He does whatever he wants without considering other people's feelings..."

Director Ren quickly interrupted him. "Is that all?"

He frowned and added, "But he's not bad at heart. Teach him a little, and he'll be fine once he learns to behave."

Ren Tao inwardly cried, There's no saving you now.

He could have just talked about Sheng Nian. Why compare him to He Gu, and make him sound so bad...?

Yan Feizhuo mentioned everyone in turn. If one overlooked his biting remarks, such as "Don't know them well," "No impression," "Insane," "Very annoying," and "Very fake," he was quite cooperative with the Production Team's work.

"Sheng Nian..."

A rare trace of a smile appeared on Yan Feizhuo's face when he mentioned him. "The young master is wonderful. He deserves every word of praise."

Director Ren: "..." What an eye-opener. A domineering CEO in love really was something else.

Overall, though, the director was very satisfied with the material collected during these solo interviews. Once edited and released, it was sure to have an excellent effect.

With the end of Yan Feizhuo's solo interview, filming for the first stage was complete. Director Ren announced their time off, and the guests all returned to their rooms to pack and prepare to leave.

As Yan Feizhuo had told him to, Sheng Nian stayed at the estate a little longer. Only after his checkup and collecting his newly prepared medication did his manager pick him up.
