Xu Wang stared in shock at the huge crown on Glutinous Rice's head.
Pei Yanchuan, however, was shocked not by the crown, but by how Glutinous Rice had grown even fatter. How many days had it been?
"Glutinous Rice, what are you looking at? Come over to Grandpa. Grandpa has your favorite little ball here." Elder Pei called to Glutinous Rice from inside.
"Awoo!" Glutinous Rice called toward the house, then bounded straight out the door and ran toward Xu Wang.
Glutinous Rice ran up to Xu Wang and fussed affectionately over him. "Awoo, awoo, awoo~"
Xu Wang reached out and stroked Glutinous Rice's fluffy fur, gently squeezing the pads of a front paw.
"Glutinous Rice, have you gotten a little rounder?" Xu Wang gauged Glutinous Rice's weight. It was quite a bit more than before he had left.
"Definitely fatter," Pei Yanchuan said from beside him.
"Xu Wang and Yanchuan are back! Come inside. Lunch is ready." Elder Pei smiled at the two of them.
"Okay, Grandpa." Xu Wang and Pei Yanchuan brought Glutinous Rice into the living room.
As soon as he entered the living room, Xu Wang saw an enormous pet stroller parked by the door.
"What's this?" Xu Wang looked questioningly at the old butler.
"This is Young Master Glutinous Rice's pet stroller. A few days ago, Elder Pei took Glutinous Rice out for a walk and ran into Elder Han, who lives two houses over. His family has a long-haired golden shaded cat named Ingot. That day, Elder Han had brought Ingot out in a pet stroller. Glutinous Rice kept looking at the stroller curiously, so as soon as Elder Pei came home that day, he had someone order this one. It's a specially made, extra-thick model, with a custom layer of mesh to keep
