After dinner, Xu Wang and Pei Yanchuan put the bowls and utensils on the table into the dishwasher together.
Once they had tidied everything up, they switched off the main light in the living room and went into the bedroom.
After entering the bedroom, Pei Yanchuan filled a tub with hot water for Xu Wang in advance.
"Xu Wang, your bath is ready," Pei Yanchuan called from the bathroom.
"Coming."
Lying on his stomach on the bed, Xu Wang immediately called back loudly when he heard him. He walked over to the wardrobe, carefully avoided the one on the right, and opened the wardrobe where he and Pei Yanchuan kept their regular clothes. There seemed to be considerably fewer clothes inside than before they had left.
Xu Wang had no time to think much about it. As Pei Yanchuan called to him again from the bathroom, he pulled a fresh set of clothes at random from the very bottom of the wardrobe and ran into the bathroom.
Pei Yanchuan came out of the bathroom and sat on the sofa beside the bed. He picked up the documents he had not finished dealing with that afternoon and continued reading.
The bedroom became very quiet, with only the occasional sound of splashing coming from the bathroom.
Steam and white mist filled the bathroom. Xu Wang first stepped under the shower, and hot water sprayed onto his head, flowing down from the ends of his hair.
After giving his hair a quick rinse, Xu Wang turned off the shower and walked over to the bathtub beside it. He lifted a leg and stepped into the tub full of hot water.
As Xu Wang got all the way in and sat down, the water level instantly rose with a splash, and some of the
