In the end, the giant koi was released back into the pond. The moment it entered the water, it was completely different from how it had been on land. It flicked its tail and soon vanished from everyone's sight.
For the rest of the afternoon, Elder Pei and Pei Yi never caught that big fellow again.
Before they knew it, it was past five in the afternoon, and time for dinner.

Pei Yanchuan took Pei Yi into the bathroom in his room for a bath.
Xu Wang went back to his own room to shower.
When Xu Wang finished showering and came out of the bathroom, he found a little fellow in blue shark pajamas on the bed.
The big shark baby hugged a goose plushie, giving him a charm all his own.
Xu Wang could not possibly withstand that adorable assault. He scooped Pei Yi into his arms, plushie and all.
