Miao Yi sneered at the thought of that woman's plan.
The first time Miao Yi entered the Pei Corporation, he was stunned by its sheer size. It was no exaggeration to say that the café where he had worked before was not even half the size of the company's lobby.
Miao Yi did not consider this a good deal. Instead, he saw it as a good opportunity.
If he could win Pei Yanchuan over, he could have anything he wanted.
On the other hand, if he really could not win him over, he would complete the task the woman had given him and take her five million.

Inside the office, Xu Wang sat with his legs crossed, looking at the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows before him. Through them, he could see the entire city. The Pei Corporation's offices were in the city center, making this a perfect spot to take in the view.
Hearing the office door open behind him, Xu Wang slowly curled his lips. The fish was here.
"President Pei, I made this coffee for you myself." Miao Yi walked up to the desk and gently set down the coffee.
After Miao Yi spoke, the office suddenly fell silent.
Miao Yi frowned and cautiously approached the chair.
"President Pei? President Pei?"
After calling out for a long time without any response, Miao Yi hardened his expression, reached out, and turned the chair around.
The chair slowly swiveled around.
Xu Wang's smiling face appeared before Miao Yi.
Xu Wang made a gun gesture with his right hand. "Bang!"
"Who are you? Why are you here? Where's President Pei?" Miao Yi jumped in fright.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that? You come into my husband's office without even knocking? Are employees allowed to be this casual now, or is it just you?" Xu Wang stood and approached Miao Yi step by step.
Looking at Xu Wang before him, Miao Yi could not help taking a step back. His back hit the desk, successfully stopping his retreat.
Xu Wang leaned closer to Miao Yi's neck, and a very obvious needle mark came into view.

In the lounge, Pei Yanchuan keenly picked up the sounds outside. He hurriedly finished dressing and walked out.

"President Pei, I was just bringing you some coffee." Miao Yi quickly lowered his head.

"An Omega?" Pei Yanchuan's expression darkened.

Pei Yanchuan's pupils contracted. He seemed to have thought of something, and his gaze swept toward the young man before him, cold enough to freeze someone to death.
Meeting Pei Yanchuan's gaze, Miao Yi could not stop his entire body from trembling violently.
Held tightly and protectively in Pei Yanchuan's arms, Xu Wang raised his head slightly and glanced out the window. Outside, a small flying device was silently flashing red.
At the sight, Xu Wang curled his lips. He had specifically chosen this position.
Pei Yanchuan picked up the phone on his desk and called Assistant Yang.
Within seconds, hurried footsteps sounded in the hallway.
Assistant Yang opened the door, panting. "President Pei?"
"Take him away. Take him to the hospital for an examination. And I need to know how he got into the company." The powerful aura emanating from Pei Yanchuan left Assistant Yang trembling with fear.
"Yes." Assistant Yang stepped forward, grabbed the utterly stupefied Miao Yi, and quickly left the office.
"Wang, are you all right?" Pei Yanchuan looked down at Xu Wang in his arms.
"I'm fine. You came out right after he came in." Xu Wang shook his head.
"That's good." Much of the worry in Pei Yanchuan's eyes faded.
"All right, get back to work. I'll keep you company here, and we'll leave work together today." Xu Wang patted Pei Yanchuan's chest muscles, then turned and sat on the office sofa with his phone.
"Tell me if you get bored."
"Okay." Xu Wang obediently agreed.
After scrolling on his phone for a while, Xu Wang turned to look at the main villain working intently, then quietly took out his phone, aimed it at his profile, and snapped a picture.
Xu Wang tapped away on his phone with both hands.
