It was nearly time for Pei Yanchuan to get off work when Xu Wang received a call from the gate guard. For a moment, he could barely process it.
Who? Mu Tingting? Pei Yan? Pei Feng? Why had those three come?
Even through his earphones, Xu Wang could hear the commotion on the other end of the call.
"Call Xu Wang. See whether he lets us in." Pei Yan's voice was shrill and grating.
"Miss, please watch your words and behavior," the gate guard warned repeatedly.
On his end of the call, Xu Wang laughed in sheer anger. He hung up and walked straight out of the villa. He wanted to see just what those three were up to.
By the time Xu Wang reached the gatehouse, the commotion had grown even louder. Mu Tingting had even sat down on the ground.
Watching her carry on like a shrew in the street, Xu Wang sneered inwardly. Others might not know how to handle this, but how could he not? When dealing with unreasonable people like these, he had to be even more unreasonable.
