They also saw white Snow Wolves standing atop the icy peaks, their eyes gleaming coldly as they raised their heads toward the blood moon above the ice plain and let out piercing howls.
Had he not been so eager to obtain Soul Soldiers, Mu Bai would have liked to slay another ice plain Snow Wolf. But the past was gone, and remembrance left only sorrow.
Traveling by day and resting at night, they flew for nearly ten days before brown finally appeared on the land. The mountains gradually shed their icy garb, and even the air began to grow hot and dry.

Magma churned there, seemingly without end, in stark contrast to the ice plains and snowy peaks they had passed along the way.
