Mu Bai returned to the Haibei Tribe, helped Hai Zhan’s family face their losses, and strengthened his cultivation through the discoveries in the Heavenly Demon Palace. He then infiltrated the Kunling Sect seeking Xing Yun and ended the stretch at Orchid Fragrance Valley’s Supreme Ceremony, where Ya Ru chose him as her patron.

• Mu Bai destroyed the Eastern Nether Great Tribe’s defenses, then Hai Zhan, Hai Qing, and Hai Dong joined him in seeking vengeance before Hai Zhan urged mercy for the survivors.
• Hai Zhan and his nephews returned to their ruined home, mourned their lost family, and received the Ancestral Spirit’s guidance as Mu Bai vowed to protect those he loved.
• Hai Qing and Hai Dong left to explore the world, while Mu Bai set out to find the Artifact Spirit Ancestor and rescue Xing Yun and Hu Meier from the Kunling Sect.
• Mu Bai entered the Heavenly Demon Palace, gathered its demon cores, and helped the World Tree take root in his Inner World as he restarted his cultivation and refined his body.
• The Artifact Spirit Ancestor agreed to help Mu Bai, who reunited with Mu Lan and promised to rescue Xing Yun before heading toward the Kunling Sect.
• Mu Bai captured Xuan Jingnian, assumed his identity, and entered the Kunling Sect, where he reported the dangers at Zhu Bei Peak to Hundred Virtues.

Mu Bai escaped the Kun Demon Cave with the Devil Race’s Supreme Inheritance and became Qianyuan Sacred Land’s Third Holy Son, then reunited with friends in the Silver Frost Forest. The arc left Chen Shichong and the allied forces under attack by the Sword Sect’s hidden reserves as Chen Qi called for help.

• Mu Bai survived the Kun Demon Cave, obtained the Devil Race Supreme Inheritance Fruit through the God-Devouring Insect, and returned to Heaven Beyond the Clouds with Bai Yu and Hao Feng.
• Mu Bai was named the Third Holy Son, exposed Lan Zinuo and Wei Xianchun’s plot against him, and left the Kunling Sect after promising Wei Yingmei he would return.
• Mu Bai reunited with Hu Meier and Xing Yun, drove Qian Hao away from the Holy Son’s appointment ceremony, and traveled with them toward the Silver Frost Forest.
• Mu Bai found Mu Lan and his old companions at the Demon Spirit Hall, where they shared a meal with Long Qichen, Qi Zhenzi, Old Lady Wang, Golden Roc, and Red Dance.
• Chen Shichong fought Beishan Lie and Beishan Fengyun at the Sword Sect while Chen Qi led the Chen Household’s breakout and allies arrived to help.
• Beishan Fengyun summoned the Sword Sect’s hidden reserves, who wounded Chen Shichong and inflicted heavy losses, while Chen Qi burned black hair to call on a benevolent senior for help.

Mu Bai joined the Qianyuan Sacred Land, seized the Dao-Proving Fruit, and survived demonic temptation while its armies devastated rival sects. After learning that the Immortal Realm controlled the Origin Realm, he joined an expedition to investigate the Devil Race and ventured into the Western Plains.

• Mu Bai killed Beishan Xiong, departed with the Qianyuan escort, and survived repeated ambushes before reaching the Qianyuan Sacred Land.
• Mu Bai humiliated Qian Xuan and Qian Yuwen, befriended Qian Fengming, and learned that Qian Fengshan had admitted him because of his Heavenly Demon Body.
• Mu Bai recognized Li Muxue at the Sacred Spirit Dao Ground, awakened life in his Inner World, and swallowed the Dao-Proving Fruit before Hai Chen killed several hostile leaders.
• Qian Fengshan supplied Mu Bai with cultivation resources while Qian Yuquan and the Kunling Sect attacked rival sects, forcing the Jialan Sect survivors to flee.
• Mu Bai resisted demonic temptation with help from the Wooden Puppet and visions of his loved ones, then refined his Inner Core and stabilized his Yuan Zun Inner World.

Mu Bai crossed the Western Plains seeking a way to cure Mi Yan, then entered Blood River Demon Valley as rival armies battled over Qingtian’s Demon Body. Qing Mao died trying to save Mi Yan, and Mu Bai was left wounded and pinned down after Li Muxue stopped Lu Yunxuan from killing him.

• Mu Bai mastered the Celestial Person Evolution Grand Formation, traveled north, and helped defend a human city before reuniting with Ye Wan and finding Mi Yan demonized.
• Mu Bai tried medicines and the Corpse Plague as cures for Mi Yan, then took Qing Mao to Blood River Demon Valley to seek the Blood River Blood Mother’s help.
• Mu Bai fought Qian Yuhuang, escaped with Qing Mao, and joined the conflict as the Human and Beast armies defeated Qian Yuquan’s forces and turned toward Kunling Sect.
• The allied armies clashed with Kunling Sect and the Sacred Lands, while Mu Bai met Blood River Blood Mother and escaped her attack using the Celestial Person Evolution Grand Formation.
• Mu Bai fought Lu Yunxuan as Li Muxue and Ling Jinyu battled the Heaven-Worshipping Sect, and the allied forces broke Blood River Demon Valley’s formation.
• Qing Mao charged into the battle to reach the Blood River Blood Mother, but Lu Yunxuan and the Primordial Soul Sacred Land’s Elders killed him, and his self-detonation caused heavy losses.
• Mu Bai emerged as the armies uncovered Qingtian’s head, fought Lu Yunxuan and Li Ji, and helped the God-Devouring Insect escape in the form of a blue-skinned youth calling himself Qingtian.
• Lu Yunxuan pinned Mu Bai with the Reincarnation Sword, but Li Muxue stopped him from killing Mu Bai, and Lu Yunxuan left Mu Bai for Xie Beichen to decide his fate.
