He continued toward Eastern Ridge, briefly joined Qi Zhenzi’s formation hall, and left after failing to master its grand formation pattern.

• Mu Bai stopped Spirit Monkey and Gray Bear from devastating Everlasting Spring Valley, helped end their conflict, and later left the valley for Demon Marshal Cangxiao’s territory.
• Disguised as an Alchemist in Peng City, Mu Bai killed the Donkey Household demons’ attackers, proved his supreme Alchemy skill, and met Cangxiao, who sent him to the Beast Venerable Realm.
• Mu Bai exposed the false gods of the Three Deities Palace, but the Shen brothers had Jing'er burned alive before he escaped captivity, killed them, and demolished the palace.
• Mu Bai battled Taowu until the Phoenix-Holding Jade Cup revealed Bai Jun, who explained the Immortal Race’s invasion and the hidden human-beast preparations for a future battle.
• After leaving Peng City, Mu Bai defeated the ambush led by Hu Meier, took the Nine-Lives Technique, and created an ape avatar before continuing toward Eastern Ridge.
• Qi Zhenzi brought Mu Bai into the Three Arts Sect’s Array Offering Hall, where Mu Bai struggled to learn an Alerting Spirit Array.
• When invaders demanded the Evolutionary Formation Diagram, Qi Zhenzi trapped and defeated them, then challenged Mu Bai to carve a pattern from the Celestial Person Evolution Grand Formation.
• Unable to copy Qi Zhenzi’s pattern, Mu Bai left for Eastern Ridge and entered an empty settlement where rats hid and gray-and-white snakes approached him at night.

Mu Bai and Hu Meier survived the Nanqing Sect’s Corpse Poison crisis, then reached the Beast Territory, where Mu Bai’s battles and rainmaking led them to Qishan Canyon. After Mu Bai helped the human settlement defeat Huang De’s army, Nangong Zhan and Huang De besieged the canyon, and Mu Bai attacked Jiayu Fort to draw them away.

• Mu Bai escaped the rat-infested courtyard, forced Hu Meier and the Demon Generals to help him fight Corpse Poison, and later destroyed the poison nest and the infected settlements around Nanqing Sect.
• Mu Bai and Hu Meier entered Nanqing Sect’s hidden passage, where Mu Bai defeated Yu Fei and destroyed the Yin Palace before using his blood to save Hu Meier.
• After Hu Meier helped Mu Bai recover, a Tiger-Headed Man captured her, and Mu Bai killed him before Hei Feng and Chi Lin imprisoned them in the river palace.
• Mu Bai killed Hei Feng and the Merfolk Demon General, looted Hei Feng’s treasury, and used the Jade Dragon River Marrow to bring rain to Sand Rain City for Jiang Yu’s people.
• Mu Bai and Hu Meier reached Jiayu Fort, where Huang De led a hunt against humans at Qishan Canyon, but Mu Bai fought him and pledged to protect Hu Meier.

Mu Bai reunited with old companions in Eastern Ridge, defeated the Kunling Sect’s successor, and reconnected with Xing Yun as rivalries and political threats gathered around them. The stretch ended with Mu Bai arriving to protect Mu Lan and Zhou Dekai from Zhou Detai.

• Huang De brought Mu Bai and Hu Meier to White Smoke Long Marsh, where Mu Bai challenged Chi Lun and Qi Zhenzi intervened before leading them to Tianmu Mountain.
• Mu Bai challenged Lu Ling and Hao Feng at the Eastern Ridge Heavenly Prodigy Battle, defeated both, and reunited with Mu Lan and their companions.
• Mu Bai found Xing Yun during her match, protected her from a sword thrust, and later learned that Wu Meng had disappeared.
• Inspired by Tao Hang’s cultivation, Mu Bai learned to borrow and return the power of plants, then advanced to face Bai Yu in the tournament.
• Mu Bai defeated Bai Yu with the Star Sword and plant power, while the Eastern Nether Great Tribe began seeking the Kunling Sect’s protection.
• Chen Shichong killed Chen Jianduan in their fight, buried his uncle, and later attended Mu Bai’s celebration, where Hu Meier and Ling Jinyu reconciled after Xing Yun’s song.
• The Kunling Sect sought help from Qianyuan Sacred Land, while Zhou Dekai confronted Zhou Detai over the war supplies and Mu Lan’s treatment.

Mu Bai’s search for Xing Yun and Hu Meier drew him into a conflict with the Kunling Sect and Qian Hao, where he was left gravely wounded. After Xing Mu saved him, Mu Bai recovered in time to defend the Star Great Tribe and destroy the Eastern Nether Great Tribe in revenge for the Haibei Tribe, then stopped before its remaining elders, women, and children.

• Mu Bai killed Zhou Detai, handed the Spirit Command Sword to Zhou Dekai, and warned Mu Lan and Zhou Dekai that the Kunling Sect had appealed to the Qianyuan Sacred Land.
• Mu Bai searched the marketplace for Xing Yun and Hu Meier, pursued them after Elders Yu and Lu abducted them, and learned they were being taken to the Kunling Sect for the Eastern Nether Tribe’s protection.
• Mu Bai confronted the Kunling Sect and joined its return to Tianmu Mountain, where Qian Hao attacked him and Rao Lin, then ordered the Qian Slaves to massacre Jialan Sect members and threaten the women.
• Mu Bai detonated his nascent realm to wound Qian Hao, and Xing Mu later found his ruined body and carried him to the Star Great Tribe, where he remained unconscious as his body slowly regenerated.
• Du Xiang and Du Lang attacked Star Island, and Xing Yang and Xing Mu fought back until Du Xiang gravely wounded them and the Eastern Nether Tribe moved to kill Mu Bai.
• Mu Bai rose from his injuries, defeated Du Xiang and Du Lang, and tortured Du Long after learning he had helped massacre the Haibei Tribe.
• Mu Bai killed Du Zhong, Du Lang, and the Eastern Nether Tribe cultivators who begged for mercy, then gave Xing Mu and Xing Yang Xing Yuan’s Jade Slip and ashes.
• After the Star Great Tribe buried Xing Yuan, Mu Bai dragged more than a thousand Eastern Nether Tribe corpses toward their home and stopped before the elders, women, and children sheltered behind its protective array.
