Water rushed past both sides of the Fearless's hull.
Bubbles rose continuously outside the coating, refracting the dim light of the deep sea.
Ryan looked at the altimeter and shouted.
"Ten seconds until we break through!"
Bakel gripped the sword at his waist and grinned.
"Finally! New World, here I come!"
Kuina stood to one side, gently stroking the hilt of Wado Ichimonji.
"Kuina, are you nervous?"
Ryan glanced at her and asked loudly.
"No, I was just wondering how strong the swordsmen in the New World would be."
Kuina answered, her gaze firm.
Masha sat inside the cabin, watching the spirited young people with a gentle smile on her face.
Lorne stood at the very front with his hands in his pockets, his gaze piercing the green seawater as he stared straight at the increasingly bright light above.
"We're going up."
Lorne spoke calmly.
"Sir, the enemy might be lying in ambush above. Should we prepare for battle immediately?"
Ryan strode up behind Lorne and asked loudly.
"No need. We'll see once we're up there."
Lorne did not turn around, merely watching quietly overhead.
"Yes, sir!"
Ryan straightened and answered loudly.
The Fearless's engines gave one last roar. The hull shuddered violently, and its speed increased again.
The surface above was already within reach, the shimmering sea reflecting dazzling light.
The darkness of the deep sea was gradually dispelled by the light above. Like a fierce tiger charging down a mountain, the Fearless shot straight toward the surface.
With a mighty splash, the Fearless's enormous hull instantly tore through the shimmering surface, bursting out into the waters of the New World.
Seawater streamed off the hull, sending white spray flying everywhere.
Dazzling sunlight shone straight down, illuminating the entire deck.
