"This is Vegapunk's research project, code-named 'Seraphim.'" Lorne lightly ran a finger across the blueprint. "They used the genes of the Shichibukai, combined with the Lunarians' lineage factor, to try to create an ultimate weapon that would obey the World Government absolutely."
"Lunarians?" Ryan looked somewhat puzzled. "Aren't they the inhabitants of the legendary Land of the Gods? I heard they can survive in any environment, and as long as the flames on their backs keep burning, their defenses are practically invincible."
"That's right." Lorne nodded. "The World Government wants to replace the Shichibukai with these weapons. If they succeed, the World Government's fighting strength will make a qualitative leap."
"Then what's on these data disks?" Kuina looked at the black data disks on the table.
"They should contain the manufacturing data and control programs for the Seraphim." Lorne picked up a data disk and toyed with it. "Although CP0 transmitted most of the data back to Mary Geoise at the last moment, the core manufacturing processes and genetic formulation should all be on these disks."
"Then can we use this data to make our own Seraphim?" Ryan asked with some excitement.
"We don't have a technical team like Vegapunk's, or such vast resources to support us. Making Seraphim from scratch would be almost impossible." Lorne shook his head. "But with these things, we can at least find their weaknesses. If we face this force of the World Government's in the future, we won't be helpless."
"You really have thought of everything, Captain!" Ryan said admiringly.
"Keep these things safe. They're one of our bargaining chips for future negotiations with the World Government." Lorne rolled the blueprint back up and handed it to Ryan.
"Yes, I'll take care of it right away!" Ryan took the blueprint and data disks, then
