"Even that useless Tayuya lost. Looks like I'll have to tear you to pieces myself!"
Sakon's voice, filled with arrogance and bloodlust, rang out at the edge of the gloomy woods. Carrying the enormous wooden coffin containing Sasuke Uchiha, he swaggered out of the shadows. Another head grew from his back, its eyes closed. It belonged to his twin older brother, Ukon. Their bodies were eerily fused together, giving off a nauseating aura of evil chakra.
Even the wind over the grass seemed to stop at that moment, and a suffocating pressure filled the air. Shikamaru, Naruto, Neji, and Kiba had only just recovered from Tayuya's terrifying soul-affecting Demonic Sound. At the sight of Sakon and Ukon, their expressions instantly darkened.
"This guy... he has more chakra than the previous three combined!" Neji had his Byakugan activated, the veins at the corners of his eyes throbbing violently. An unmistakable trace of apprehension entered his voice. "Be careful, everyone. His body structure is incredibly strange. It's as though there are two independent chakra sources inside him!"
"Tch, who cares how many heads he has? We just need to get Sasuke back!" Naruto gritted his teeth and rapidly formed hand seals. "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"
Poof! Poof! Poof! With a burst of white smoke, more than a dozen shadow clones of Naruto appeared and charged at Sakon and Ukon like a swarm of angry hornets.
"What a swarm of flies with a death wish." Sakon sneered, not even lowering the right hand supporting the coffin. He turned slightly sideways and lashed out with his left leg like a steel whip.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Sakon was unbelievably fast. In a single exchange, the Naruto shadow clones at the front vanished into white smoke as though they had been struck by a heavy truck.
