"Three hundred thunderbolts!"

Lin Qi looked at the survivors struggling inside the vehicle, his eyes filled with indifference.

Three hundred thunderbolts was not the name of his ability, but the lightning ability he unleashed by spending three hundred Ghost Cash!

"Hiss, hiss, hiss!"

Dazzling lightning spread through his hands. The survivors struggling to scramble out of the vehicle still had murderous intent in their eyes!

But when the lightning illuminated their cheeks, all the savagery vanished from their pale faces, leaving only indescribable terror.

Before they could even beg for mercy, lightning enveloped the vehicle.

The darting blue lightning writhed like dragons, completely covering the vehicle in an instant!

"Crackle!"

The fleeting explosive cracks were accompanied by piercing screams!

The lightning came quickly and left just as quickly.

When it dissipated, all that remained inside the vehicle were corpses electrocuted black!

"Y-you, you! Y-you, you!"

In the other vehicle, the first survivor finally climbed out.

He had intended to charge at Lin Qi with a machete, but after witnessing that scene, his eyes held nothing but shock and indescribable fear.

"Fuck! What the fuck are you spacing out for! Move! Hurry up and move!"

Seeing him frozen in place, the other survivors trapped inside the overturned vehicle grew so frantic that their faces nearly twisted out of shape.

Lin Qi had killed an entire vehicle full of people in a single breath. They were merely survivors Scarface had gathered together. They would act when there was something to gain, but now that even Scarface was dead, how could they dare, how could they possibly fight Lin Qi!

After witnessing Lin Qi's terrifying lightning ability, how could they harbor even the slightest hope of fighting him!

"Sorry, it's my first time using this ability. I hit a little too hard."

Lin Qi slowly rose from atop the first vehicle, revealing a harmless-looking set of pearly white teeth. Without sparing another glance at the bodies burned black by lightning inside, he stepped toward the second vehicle.

He watched the survivors shoving frantically at the top of the second vehicle, without the slightest pity in his eyes. When they decided to kill him, they should have considered their own end.

"E-Extraordinary sir, we... we were wrong. Please, spare us!"

"Extraordinary sir, we really didn't know you were an Extraordinary. If we'd known, we wouldn't have dared oppose you even with ten times the courage!"

"Please, spare me, spare me! I have an eighty-year-old mother to support, and children..."

Seeing Lin Qi approach, the survivors inside the vehicle could no longer bear that terrifying pressure. They began frantically kowtowing and begging for mercy, showing no intention of stopping even after their foreheads split and bled.

He was even still hoping, hoping Lin Qi would have just a little compassion.

Unfortunately.

It was all wishful thinking.

Lin Qi looked at the first burly man who had climbed out of the vehicle.

The burly man could not even meet his eyes for a moment. When Lin Qi's gaze fell on him, he turned and ran almost without hesitation, showing no intention of rescuing his companions.

"One hundred thunderbolts..."

Lin Qi did not chase him. He spent one hundred Ghost Cash, making lightning flicker in his hand again.

He was testing his newly acquired ability now, so he did not dwell too much on the Ghost Cash expenditure.

For one hundred Ghost Cash, the lightning in his hand condensed according to his will into a lightning spear the length of a forearm.

"Whoosh!"

Lin Qi hurled the spear.

The burly man fled quickly, but the lightning spear was faster.

The lightning spear's speed depended on its own energy and had little to do with Lin Qi.

The burly man had only sprinted for a few seconds when explosive crackling rang out behind him!

He turned to look in horror, but could no longer move.

The blue spear flickering with lightning flashed past.

"Shluk!"

The spear pierced his body, freezing him in place. Lightning flared in his eyes, and a scorched aroma began spreading through his flesh.

"Thud..."

His eyes held terror, regret?

Whether or not he had felt regret at the end, all his thoughts scattered at that moment.

As Lin Qi threw the lightning spear, he had already rushed atop the second vehicle.

He looked at a survivor hoping to scramble out. Their eyes met, and his smile remained just as gentle. "Two hundred thunderbolts!"

Lightning coursed throughout the vehicle. As the ability's wielder, Lin Qi was completely unaffected.

"If I'd had this ability earlier, I wouldn't have needed to waste over a thousand Ghost Cash killing Li Xiang."

Lin Qi crouched atop the vehicle, his gaze roaming through its interior.

Soon, he spotted Ghost Cash inside that the lightning had not destroyed.

He did not know what sort of thing Ghost Cash was. At the very least, he had yet to see any ability capable of damaging it.

Lin Qi looted both vehicles, collecting a total of one thousand Ghost Cash.

After deducting the cost of using lightning and [Give Me Some Face], he had actually made two hundred Ghost Cash.

"Seriously, what a bunch of paupers."

Lin Qi was somewhat dissatisfied. After gathering the Ghost Cash, he quickly moved away from the two vehicles.

Having only just acquired such immense lightning power, he could not wield it as freely as he had at the beginning, which resulted in almost everything inside the vehicles being scourged by lightning.

Under the lightning's assault, quite a few things inside both vehicles began to burn...

"What a waste. I fried all those supplies."

Lin Qi returned to the off-road vehicle, glanced at the vehicles gradually being engulfed in flames, and drove quickly toward the convoy. "Seems like things have gone quiet over at the convoy..."

Lin Qi had driven the off-road vehicle away from Scarface's corpse for less than a minute.

The moving vehicle abruptly slowed!

His previously unchanged expression suddenly shifted, his gaze locking firmly ahead!

Less than a hundred meters in front of him, a dry well had appeared at some unknown point.

Though he was still some distance from it, he could clearly see the bloody glow spilling out of the well!

The area around the dry well was utterly barren!

So barren that not even a single blade of wild grass could be seen.

No normal person would approach such an eerie sight!

Even Lin Qi's first thought was to get away immediately!

He possessed the power of lightning now, but he still could not confront supernatural horrors head-on.

Extraordinary power might be strong, but before truly terrifying supernatural horrors, it was little different from a baby chick!

Lin Qi's wish to retreat was all well and good.

But his body seemed to have completely slipped out of his control the moment he looked at the dry well!

An inexplicable thought began circling through Lin Qi's mind!

It was as though something inside the dry well was drawing him in, enticing his body to keep approaching!

Horror filled Lin Qi's eyes. His body was completely beyond his control, and the off-road vehicle began accelerating, charging madly toward the dry well!

Lin Qi drew closer and closer to the dry well.

Beads of cold sweat began dripping from his forehead.

Until the off-road vehicle stopped beside the dry well.

His awareness began to blur.

His stiff body stepped out of the driver's seat.

The things inside the dry well came into view.

The greed driving Lin Qi could no longer be restrained.

Beneath the bloody glow of the dry well was Ghost Cash!

Ghost Cash piled into a small mountain!

Ghost Cash stretching beyond the limits of sight!

"I'll only take a little, I'll only take a little, just a little..."

Lin Qi greedily licked his lips and stepped onto the edge of the dry well.

Yet at some unknown point, his once-indifferent eyes had become covered in a scarlet, bloody hue!
