Yi City No. 12 Middle School Incident

Shen Bai enters the investigation after Wu Xiaofeng reports failed body-camera recordings, unexplained scratches, and a note from a suspicious school callout. Examining the responding officers, he identifies memory alteration by an Evil Sin and discovers evidence that another supernatural ability has opposed it 11.

He subsequently alerts Liu Yiyi to an intelligent Evil Sin, a Netherworld near the boys’ dormitory, and the likely involvement of school administrators. During the operation, he prevents the corrupted administrators from reaching more victims. After killing two who attempt to act, he orders the remaining five to await the backlash of their severed connection and promises to keep their families from seeing their monstrous remains 13 17.

After the immediate threat ends, he handles police coordination and tells Shi Yu and Han He to collect their necessities before the school closes 20.

Hospital Attack and Recruitment

Following the hospital confrontation with Curtain-Callers, Shen Bai disables their light-manipulating accomplice and escorts the group to the police station. He also arranges for Xi Yao to treat the surviving teachers and students 26 27.

With Liu Yiyi, he welcomes Shi Yu, Han He, and Hu Zihao into Stars and Snow Cedar. He explains the school case, oversees ability registration, and reassures the recruits that reviewers do not expect them to disclose every aspect of their powers 28 29 30 31.

Factory Interrogation and Patrol

Shen Bai coordinates the questioning of two captured Curtain-Callers. Their compromised memories provide little information, and Li Yan mutates when she begins describing her recruiter.
