Bell didn't turn his head or make any move. A slight fluctuation of magic rippled out, and the House-elf was blasted away like a cannonball, embedding itself in the wall and kicking up a cloud of dust.

The poor little thing paid a heavy price for its wrong choice. Hopefully, it will survive. Amen.

Hermione's mouth dropped open in surprise.

"What did you do, Bell?"

Are you sure you want to hear my explanation now?

Bell pointed to the messy classroom.

"Right!"

Hermione finally remembered her original intention.

"Quickly, let's catch them all!"

"That would be such a waste. This is Professor Lockhart's painstaking effort; how can it end so hastily? Wouldn't that be too boring?"

Bell's eyes lit up, and he came up with a good idea.

"Hermione, let me give you an extra practical lesson. Now, the first step is to put a shield on yourself. Remember, no matter what, it's never wrong to put a shield on first."

"But, Bell, what does 'put on a shield' mean?"

"..."

"..."

The two stared at each other for a while before Bell realized that his old habit had relapsed.

Bell coughed awkwardly twice.

"Ahem... 'Put on a shield' means to cast an Shield Charm on yourself."

"But I don't know the Shield Charm."

Hermione said, somewhat troubled.

"..."

So the education of wizards is really worrying!

Bell reluctantly drew his Wand and tapped it against the desk in front of him. The desk instantly transformed into a large wooden shield, big enough to completely cover Hermione.

"Since you don't know the Shield Charm, you can make do with this wooden shield for now. You can first cast a Levitation Charm on the wooden shield to reduce its weight, then hold the shield in your left hand and cast the Curses with your right hand."

Bell held out his hands and gestured to Hermione to demonstrate the key points of the movement.

Hermione obediently followed Bell's instructions. However, due to her limited spellcasting ability, even after casting the Levitation Charm, Hermione still felt that the wooden shield was a bit heavy, and she couldn't move it freely in her hands.

"There's no need to move. These House-elf can't break through this wooden shield, so why waste energy moving? Just standing still to block and cast spells is enough."

Upon hearing Hermione's question, Bell waved his hand dismissively and said...

I don't know when it started, but wizards have become more and more fond of casting Curses while running.

While running does increase the chance of dodging, the problem is that it also reduces the chance of hitting. At least in Bell's opinion, such a waste of energy is unacceptable. Most importantly, it's not cool!

"We're Mage, you know!"

Hermione cast Petrification Curse and Binding Spell in quick succession, knocking down one House-elf after another.

The loss of her companions finally caught the attention of the House-elf. They screamed and charged toward Hermione.

"Bell, what do we do? There are too many of them! I can't handle them! Please help me!"

Hermione was frightened as ten Cornish Pixies charged towards her. She immediately called for help from Bell, hoping Bell could help her fend off some of the House-elf.

"Don't panic, Hermione."

However, Bell didn't make a move as Hermione had expected. Instead, he put away his Wand and leisurely watched the spectacle.

"Now, increase the magical flow to the Levitation Charm to further reduce the weight of the wooden shield... Yes, that's it. Be careful with your blocking, and don't unleash Curses attacks recklessly. First and foremost, ensure your own safety; you can only deal damage if you're alive."

"Am I going to die!?"

Σ(っ°Д°;)っ

"Uh, of course not. It's just a metaphor, don't be afraid. The Cornish Pixies won't kill you."

(lll¬ω¬)

It's unclear whether Hermione believed Bell's words, but the Little Witch's concentration increased, and the magical energy emanating from her body also rose significantly.

The Little Wizard, who had been crying and screaming while being chased by the House-elf, gradually calmed down. They formed a circle around Hermione's location and watched from a distance.

Bell glanced at the group of Little Wizard, somewhat speechless.

"So you're just going to stand by and watch? Isn't anyone even willing to lend a hand?"

A shameless bystander, who was eating a slice of watermelon that appeared out of nowhere, thought to himself.

The difficulty of a one-on-one fight is incomparable to that of a one-on-many fight. So even though Hermione was fighting beyond her usual limits for the sake of her own life, it still took the Little Witch more than 10 minutes, during which she was hit by the House-elf many times, before she finally ended this playful battle.

"Well done, Miss Granger. 20 points for Gryffindor!"

Lockhart, who had somehow joined the crowd, walked out of the throng while clapping.

"As you can see, Cornish Pixies are very evil and terrifying little monsters. I deliberately hid and didn't make a move to observe your performance. However, reality has disappointed me. Apart from Miss Granger bravely stepping forward, everyone else's performance was unsatisfactory. I hope you will all reflect on your behavior today when you go back. Now, class dismissed!"

After saying that, Lockhart left the classroom without looking back, ignoring even the Cornish Pixies lying on the floor. No matter how you looked at it, Bell felt that Lockhart's retreating figure gave the impression of a hasty escape.

After Lockhart left, the Little Wizard scrambled to escape the classroom. The events of tonight's lesson will likely haunt many of Little Wizard nightmares.

Soon, only Bell and Hermione remained in the classroom.

Seeing Hermione standing motionless, her little face hidden in the shadows, Bell cautiously crept over.

"Hermione? Are you alright? Want some watermelon?"

Bell handed over the half-eaten watermelon he was holding.

"It's not good at all!"

Hermione whirled around and roared at Bell.

"And why are you bringing a watermelon to class?!"

Just as Bell was bracing himself for the Little Witch's barrage of complaints, Hermione suddenly crouched down, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Bell, it hurts so much."

Hermione sobbed, feeling wronged.

She hadn't felt anything when she was completely focused on the battle. But now that she'd stopped, the places where the Cornish Pixies had struck and scratched her were burning with pain. Hermione was in so much pain she could barely stand.

"I'm sorry, Hermione. It's my fault."

Seeing Hermione start to cry, Bell finally panicked. He apologized profusely while quickly pulling a bottle of Healing Potion from his pocket and feeding it to Hermione.

"Drink this Healing Potion potion, and the pain will be gone."

With Bell's help, Hermione sipped the potion. Soon, a cooling sensation came from the painful area, and Hermione groaned in relief.

The Little Witch stood up, stretched her body, and after making sure no one was hurting anymore, kicked Bell's shin hard. Then, leaving Bell hopping around in pain, clutching her shin, she turned and headed to her next class without looking back.

Once Hermione's figure was out of sight, Bell immediately put his leg down.

Just kidding. With Bell's Magic Power Enhancement physique, Hermione's strength was so weak that even if she kicked his shoe to pieces, Bell wouldn't feel any pain. So what happened just now was just for show, letting the Little Witch vent her anger.

Only by pretending to be pitiful can you avoid being retaliated against later!

Bell walked out of the classroom without looking back and slowly closed the classroom door.

As the gate slowly closed, the Cornish Pixies lying on the ground returned to their cages, and the broken walls and messy tables and chairs were quickly restored to their original state.

The moment the door closed completely, the classroom was restored to its original state.

Hopefully Lockhart will remember the Cornish Pixies he left behind here; Bell has no interest in feeding these very wicked and terrifying little monsters for him.
