"It's a miracle we're even alive today, thanks to our ancestors. Thank you so much, Hagrid. Without you, we certainly wouldn't be making it back alive."

Firenze came over and helped Bane up. Among the centaurs, he was closest to Hagrid, so everyone decided that he would be the one to negotiate with Hagrid.

In another direction, Aragog also separated his offspring and went to the front. With Hagrid present, he wasn't worried about being suddenly attacked by the centaurs.

"Long time no see, Hagrid."

"Oh, Aragog! It's so good to see you're alright!"

Hagrid's eyes quickly filled with tears. If he hadn't been halfway through applying medicine to Bane, he would have looked like he wanted to rush over and give Aragog a warm hug right away.

"I was so worried when I found out what happened here. Thankfully, you were unharmed!"

"So what exactly caused your fight? This isn't either of your territories, is it?"

Hagrid once again asked the question that had been puzzling him most. So, who on either side had lost their mind? Or were they both out of their minds to come here and arrange a fight?

"Hmph! It's all because of these four-legged bastards. They attacked my children without any reason."

Aragog snorted angrily in dissatisfaction.

"Who are you calling a bastard! Cough cough cough..."

Hearing the insult to his race, Bane immediately wanted to stand up and kill the damned bastard. Unfortunately, his injuries made it impossible for him to even stand.

"Calm down, Bane."

Hagrid reached out and firmly pressed Bane back to his original spot.

"Aragog, you too. They are centaurs, not bastards."

For Hagrid, the first priority was to figure out what had happened, not to mediate between the centaurs and the Acromantula. So after a brief exchange of blows, he turned his attention back to questioning the centaurs.

"So, Bane, why did you attack Aragog and the others? This shouldn't be within your patrol area, right? Why are you here?"

The centaurs looked at each other, speechless. It seemed they had indeed attacked the Acromantula first without provocation? So they were the ones in the wrong? Why did that seem to make sense?

"Ahem... Actually, it's like this, Hagrid."

Seeing his people staring at each other, speechless, Firenze had no choice but to take up the banner himself and explain the whole story to Hagrid.

"We observed Mars tonight to be unusually bright, and Mars was shining right above the territory of the Acromantula. Because we didn't know what was happening, Bane was worried that the Forbidden Forest's safety was threatened, so we decided to come and observe the situation."

"When we got here, we found the Acromantula attacking a wizard. Although we didn't know the specifics, considering that Hogwarts Little Wizard had previously ventured deep into the Forbidden Forest, we immediately decided to help the wizard."

Firenze briefly recounted what he knew, inevitably employing some euphemisms. Although he didn't particularly like the hot-tempered Bane, Bane was still one of his own people, and he had no reason not to speak up for him.

"You're talking nonsense! Which eye of yours saw us attacking a wizard?!"

Aragog felt incredibly wronged! Were those two holes under the eyebrows of those damned four-legged bastards just for venting their anger? Couldn't they see that it was that damned wizard bullying the spider?

"But we clearly saw you there..."

"We are the ones being attacked!"

Aragog roared, interrupting Firenze.

"We were supposed to be doing the same thing tonight as usual, some of us sleeping, some of us hunting, not bothering anyone."

"Then some weird wizard suddenly appeared out of nowhere, saying he wanted to eat Spider Meat and demanded that we commit suicide to give him the flesh! Of course, I couldn't possibly agree to such an unreasonable request!"

"When negotiations failed, the wizard attacked us, and we were forced to fight back, but we were no match for him."

"Just as we were struggling to resist that freakish wizard's attack, you despicable centaurs appeared and launched an attack on us without a word. Now, you actually have the nerve to say that we were besieging that wizard!?"

Hearing Aragog's roar, Hagrid and the centaurs looked bewildered.

Hagrid wondered if Aragog was so old that he was becoming senile. How could any normal person want to eat Spider Meat?

(Bell: "Dumbledore likes to eat Cockroach Clusters, so why can't I want to eat Spider Meat!")

However, the Cockroach Clusters wasn't actually cockroaches, but the Spider Meat was indeed Spider Meat, so Hagrid was somewhat skeptical of Aragog's words.

"But Aragog, how could any wizard possibly defeat so many spiders like you? And where is that wizard? Since I arrived here, I've only seen the two of you; I haven't seen any wizard at all!"

"How am I supposed to know where that perverted wizard came from! The truth is, even if all of us spiders attacked together, we couldn't do anything to him!"

Aragog sensed that Hagrid had changed. He was no longer the Hagrid who loved him wholeheartedly, and now he didn't even believe what Hagrid said!

"Hagrid, there was indeed a wizard here before; we all saw it with our own eyes. Otherwise, we wouldn't have attacked the Acromantula."

Firenze, unusually, said something in support of the Acromantula. At the same time, he secretly gave himself a thumbs-up.

"I was so clever!"

"However, we don't know when they disappeared."

Firenze added.

Hagrid's expression turned serious.

Since both the centaurs and Aragog said there was a wizard here before, then there must be no mistake. And according to Aragog's previous description, that wizard was ridiculously powerful; Hagrid himself would definitely not be a match for him.

In the wizarding world, there are only a handful of wizards who can reach that level. And no one should have any reason to sneak into Hogwarts in the dead of night.

Do you remember what he looked like?

Hagrid asked solemnly.

The horsemen looked at each other and shook their heads blankly.

They suddenly realized that they couldn't remember anything about the other person, not only what they looked like, but also their height, build, and even the color of their clothes. This was simply unbelievable for centaurs who were skilled in archery.
