"Oh no, we can't shake off the spiders! If this continues, we'll all be wiped out!"

"Damn it!"

Bane surveyed the battlefield.

The Acromantula are using their numbers to shield each other from harm. Whenever one spider is hit by an arrow, another unharmed one takes its place to ensure that its companion does not die from too many arrows.

In the chaos of the battlefield, it is extremely difficult to kill someone with a single blow.

The spiders surged forward relentlessly, giving the centaurs no chance to create distance.

Bane felt a pang of regret for his earlier recklessness. If he had listened to Ronan's advice, his companions wouldn't have been in such a perilous situation.

"You all go first, I'll cover your retreat!"

Bane suddenly turned and charged towards the location of the Acromantula. As the Patrol Team leader, he couldn't allow others to pay for his mistakes!

"No! Bane! Come back!"

The centaurs gasped in surprise. Although Bane had a fiery temper and often refused to listen to advice, the fact that he still held the position of Patrol Team leader proved that Bane enjoyed high prestige among the centaurs.

Seeing Bane charge headlong into the Acromantula without hesitation, the other centaurs involuntarily slowed down, and some even turned around, wanting to rush over and fight alongside Bane.

Centaurs never fear death. Those who die bravely in battle will be blessed, and their ancestors and the planets will guide their souls to a safe haven after death.

"Stop! Stop! Someone tell me what's going on here!? Aragog, Bane, why are you fighting!?"

A barking sound came from afar, followed by Hagrid's exclamation.

Hagrid had been feeling uneasy all evening. So after completing his routine patrol, he ventured into the depths of the Forbidden Forest, a place he rarely visited.

Hagrid did this for two reasons. First, he wanted to find centaurs or other Magical Creatures he could communicate with to inquire about any unusual occurrences deep within the Forbidden Forest. Second, he wanted to clear his head, since Hagrid didn't believe anyone would dare to cause trouble in the Forbidden Forest.

You must know that the Forbidden Forest is the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts. And every wizard knows that the headmaster of Hogwarts is the great Dumbledore.

As a die- Dumbledore fan, Hagrid believes that anyone smarter than Troll would never cause trouble at Hogwarts.

However, shortly after Hagrid entered the depths of the Forbidden Forest, he heard a rumbling sound coming from afar. After careful discernment, Hagrid was astonished to discover that the sound was coming from the direction where he had placed Aragog!

Worried about Aragog's safety, Hagrid immediately ran towards the source of the sound.

Given Hagrid's speed, he should have arrived much sooner. But who would have thought that that stupid dog, Fang, would refuse to come any closer?

Although Hagrid had always known that Fang was timid, and the reason he brought it on patrol was only to have company, never expecting it to be of any help, he never intended for Fang to be a hindrance!

If this weren't deep within the Forbidden Forest, Hagrid would have long since abandoned Fang.

"When we get back, I'm cutting my snack allowance in half this month!"

Hagrid ran breathlessly, carrying Fang in his arms, while announcing his punishment for Fang. This caused Fang, who was struggling desperately in Hagrid's arms, to reveal a look of utter despair in his eyes.

Not only was it forcibly dragged into dangerous situations by its own owner, but now even its only hobby—snacks—has been halved by its unscrupulous owner for a month.

It's too difficult!

As the roar grew louder and louder, Hagrid knew he was getting close to the scene of the incident.

Thank goodness, we're still some distance from Aragog's home, so it seems Aragog and his adorable children are alright.

As it turns out, Hagrid was dreaming.

Through the gaps in the trees, Hagrid was astonished to discover that the two sides fighting were centaurs and Acromantula!

Although Hagrid had always known that the centaurs harbored some misunderstandings about Aragog and his children, he never imagined that the two sides would actually wage war, and that it would cause such a great commotion.

Fortunately, at least from the perspective of the game, Aragog is in the lead.

Although he had a fairly good relationship with the centaurs, people have varying degrees of closeness and distance. Compared to Aragog, Hagrid didn't care as much about the lives of the centaurs.

However, as the gamekeeper personally appointed by Headmaster Dumbledore, Hagrid couldn't pretend nothing had happened since he had witnessed it firsthand. So Hagrid quickly shouted, trying to stop the two sides from continuing their fight.

Hearing Hagrid's shouts, the centaurs breathed a sigh of relief. Not being afraid of death didn't mean they wanted to die; now that Hagrid had arrived, they were saved for the night.

Aragog was extremely pleased with himself as he watched his children about to kill these despicable centaurs. He didn't even seem to care much about being brutally beaten by Bell all night.

As the saying goes, "It's not poverty that's worrisome, but inequality." It doesn't matter if you're miserable, as long as there are people who are even more miserable than you.

"Click click click~"

Aragog couldn't help but laugh out loud.

But before the laughter could even subside, Aragog heard Hagrid's roar echoing from the forest. It felt as if it had been forced to stop halfway through using the toilet—an indescribable discomfort.

Aragog tried to pretend it hadn't heard. After all, it was quite old, so it was only natural that its hearing wasn't working properly.

However, seeing Hagrid rush to the center of the battlefield, separating his side from the centaurs, Aragog had no choice but to issue a halt to the attack in order to prevent Hagrid from being harmed by his children.

"Can anyone tell me what happened?!"

Hagrid stretched out his large, fan-like hands, grabbed two giant spiders and threw them out, then pulled Bane out from a pile of rubble and debris.

At this moment, Bane was completely different from his previous high spirits. His hair was disheveled, and his body was covered with wounds, including cuts, bruises, and most of all, the bite wounds inflicted by the Acromantula.

Fortunately, Hagrid arrived in time, before the venom of the Acromantula could seep into Bane's body. Otherwise, even if Merlin were to be resurrected, he would not have been able to save him.

"Thank you, Hagrid. I owe you my life."

Bane weakly thanked Hagrid.

"Alright, stop talking. Your condition is very bad. I can only give you some basic treatment. It looks like you won't be able to heal without resting for a few months."

Hagrid took out some herbs he always carried with him, chewed them quickly, and then applied them to Bane's wound.
