How Wild Are Little Wizards These Days!?
"What happened here? What are you all doing gathered here?"
Filch struggled through the crowd. He had been drawn there by Malfoy's shouts. Years of experience told him that there must be some mischievous Little Wizard causing trouble again, and he could punish those wretched brats to his heart's content!
"Don't think you can do whatever you want on Halloween... what?"
Filch was stunned. He swore he'd worked at Hogwarts for decades, but he'd never seen anything like it.
A Little Wizard was crouching on the ground, wand in Wand, while in front of him lay another Little Wizard Little Wizard, his face covered in blood, lying motionless.
What's going on? Did he stumble upon a murder scene?
Are all Little Wizard this wild these days?! In Hogwarts Castle, and in front of everyone in the main hall, they dare to pull out their Wand and kill people?
Will he be silenced? After all, he's the only normal person here!
Filch felt his hair standing on end. He looked around frantically, hoping to grasp at a straw.
Then he saw it, his cat, his poor, lovely little cat named Mrs. Norris, its body hanging on the torch stand, swaying gently in the breeze.
"No—!" Filch screamed. "You murderer! How could you! How dare you kill my cat!"
At that moment, all thoughts of wizards and silencing witnesses vanished from Filch's mind. He simply couldn't comprehend how anyone in this world could be so cruel!
You can kill all you want, Filch doesn't care at all. He genuinely loathes the Little Wizard in this castle. Whether it's one or two, or a hundred or two hundred, Filch guarantees Filch won't even flinch; he might even open a bottle of whiskey to celebrate.
But! Why did you kill his cat?!
"I'm going to kill you—!"
Filch roared and lunged at Bell.
Meanwhile, Bell was looking around curiously.
Judging from Filch's words, during the short time he was dealing with Malfoy, someone secretly killed someone while he was distracted!
Are all Little Wizard this wild these days?! How dare they kill someone in Hogwarts Castle, right under Dumbledore's nose?! Bell is curious to see what kind of imposing figure and extraordinary physique this Champion possesses.
Then, to Bell's surprise, Filch lunged at him with a bizarre expression!
"What the hell?!"
(Д`)
"Argus!"
Before Bell could subdue Filch, Dumbledore arrived with the professors, and then he too was stunned.
What's going on? That's not how the script was written!
Looking at Bell, who had already stood up, and Malfoy, who was still lying on the ground unable to move, Dumbledore was also full of question marks.
Are all Little Wizard this wild these days?! Or is he really getting old? Has his title as the strongest White Wizard of the modern era lost its intimidation? Students actually dare to start fights in front of him, the Hogwarts Headmaster?
Unlike Filch, as a powerful wizard, Dumbledore could clearly tell whether the thing lying on the ground was dead or alive.
"Dumbledore! My cat! My Mrs. Norris!"
Filch cried like a bullied child who had finally seen his parents.
"Don't worry, Argus, your cat isn't dead."
Dumbledore glanced at Mrs. Norris hanging on the torch stand and confirmed that the cat was not dead, but rather in a strange state of petrification.
Normally, he would be very interested in this peculiar petrification state and would immediately begin to study it.
But right now, he's looking at Bell standing in the middle of the field and... who is that?
Because of Bell's obstruction, Dumbledore couldn't see Malfoy's face, but could only tell from his school uniform that he was a Slytherin student.
"So, can anyone tell me what exactly happened here?"
"Dumbledore asked curiously."
Before Bell could even speak, Hermione rushed to Bell side and began to explain.
"That's right, Professor. Just now, when we were returning to the lounge, we found the words on the wall here and Mrs. Norris's... and Mrs. Norris's hanging there."
Hermione was about to say "corpse," but then she remembered what Professor Dumbledore had said: Mrs. Norris was not dead.
How come they're still alive after all that? Could it be that cats in the Magical World really have nine lives?
"Then Malfoy suddenly jumped out, pointed at me and yelled ' Mudblood,' and then Bell demanded that Malfoy apologize to me. Then Malfoy went on and on about Pure-blood, honor and stuff like that, which I didn't quite understand. Then Bell gave Malfoy a little lesson, and then Malfoy yelled 'Die' and stuff like that, and then... and then... and then it turned out like this."
Hermione made full use of her eloquence, honed from years of lecturing her classmates. This was the kind of eloquence that often left Bell dizzy and confused.
As for some parts of the statement, there may be some discrepancies with reality.
It's an illusion! It must be an illusion!
At least in Hermione's mind, the truth was exactly the same as what she said, without any deviation!
The professors were a little confused by Hermione's string of "then" statements, but they still managed to understand the general situation.
Simply put, it's about Malfoy and Bell fighting, but they never actually fought.
"Since this matter involves students from both Ravenclaw and Slytherin houses, then the decision-making authority will be delegated to..."
Dumbledore turned to look at the heads of the four houses.
Professor Flitwick was nervously clutching his hair. The kind-hearted man was unwilling to see his Little Wizard in his school subjected to severe punishment.
Professor Snape couldn't help but smile, believing that Dumbledore would leave the decision to him and Flitwick.
Unlike the prideful Flitwick, he was utterly shameless when dealing with these brats! This time, he had to seize the opportunity to severely deduct Ravenclaw's House Points. That way, Slytherin House would have no rivals in this year's House Cup!
Naïve Snape, after only a few months, had completely forgotten everything that happened at the End-of-Year Banquet of the previous school year.
Want to win the House Cup?
Keep dreaming!
"Leave it to Minerva."
After scanning the heads of the four houses, Dumbledore made his decision.
"What!?"
Unlike Professor Flitwick, who breathed a sigh of relief, Snape screamed in shock.
