This Isn't Over!
Hermione lowered her head, staring intently at her fingers.
On her slender, long finger was a beautiful ring, a ring that Bell had just placed on her finger.
"Bell put a ring on my finger... Bell put a ring on my finger..."
Hermione's mind went blank, with only this one sentence playing on repeat.
"Hermione?"
Seeing Hermione's computer crash again for some unknown reason, Bell waved his hand in front of her eyes, but to no avail.
For some reason, Bell felt a little guilty.
He was genuinely frightened by the Little Witch's dramatic outburst today. He wondered what kind of trouble Hermione was planning this time.
After an unknown amount of time, Hermione finally came to her senses.
She jumped up as if she'd been electrocuted, moving away from Bell. Then her eyes darted left and right, refusing to look Bell directly in the eye.
"Um... right! Bell, I suddenly remembered I forgot to bring in some clothes! Sorry, I have to go back and collect them right away! Goodbye!"
After saying that, Hermione turned around and dashed off towards Hogwarts Castle.
"..."
Watching Hermione's retreating figure disappear into the distance, Bell scratched his head in confusion.
Aren't the House-elf supposed to wash the Little Wizard ' clothes? Hermione actually washes her own clothes?
No wonder he comes from Muggle family, he's really hardworking!
In this respect, wizards are completely incapable. At least Bell herself has been so pampered by magic that she's almost forgotten how to wash clothes by hand.
However, it seems Hermione must really like that dress, otherwise she wouldn't have run away in such a hurry.
And he was so anxious that smoke was coming out of his head.
It's a real shame. Bell had planned to take advantage of this rare opportunity to teach Hermione some magic control techniques. It seems we'll have to wait until next time.
After stretching, Bell lay back down on the recliner.
There were still about two hours until lunchtime, and Bell planned to take a nap to soothe his soul, which had been tormented by Hermione.
'...'
"Ah--!"
Bell suddenly shouted and sat up.
"I can't sleep! And I'm so bored!"
"How about you read a book for a while?"
"No way! Today is a rare day off, you can't become a bookworm who only knows how to read all day!"
Standing in the empty Quidditch pitch, Bell muttered to himself.
"Forget it! I don't care anymore!"
Bell stood up, and the recliner beneath him quickly collapsed, turning back into soil and returning to the earth.
A sudden, violent gust of wind arose, swirling around Bell and making his robes flutter wildly.
Looking up at the slowly rotating, growing snowball, Bell decided to ignore Professor McGonagall's feelings. If he got caught, he'd just make up some excuse.
Bell extended his right hand, palm facing the magical singularity at the center of the snowball.
A powerful surge of magical energy arose, and a large amount of magic was injected into the singularity by Bell, causing the snowflakes to fly at an accelerated speed.
In just a few minutes, all the snow in the Quidditch Pitch had been gathered together. Then, Bell casually tossed it off the pitch.
Bell waved his hand, putting away his Personal Terminal that was still recording.
"Let's go back and pet Fina!"
In the afternoon, the sky had already begun to darken.
In late autumn, nights always arrive early; perhaps in about half an hour, the area outside the castle will be plunged into darkness.
After a day of fun, the Little Wizard began to return to the castle one after another, ready to enjoy a delicious dinner.
At that moment, Professor McGonagall was not in her office as usual, preparing the course materials she would use for Monday's class.
The old professor donned a thick robe and, facing the snowflakes stirred up by the evening breeze, walked out of Hogwarts Castle.
As people get older, their health declines. Even with the Constant Temperature Badge, Professor McGonagall still felt chills seeping into her bones, and she had to wrap herself up tightly to feel any better.
As Professor McGonagall walked toward the Quidditch Pitch, she thought about the letter she had personally delivered that morning.
It was a letter she had sent to Mr. Menethil of Ravenclaw. The letter detailed the confinement punishment imposed on him.
She knew that Miss Granger from her school was close to the other person, and the Little Witch would surely help him complete his confinement punishment, even though the rules forbade it.
Therefore, she deliberately increased the severity of some punishments.
But now, Professor McGonagall has some regrets.
She wondered if the punishment she had given was too harsh.
As mentioned before, contrary to the misconceptions of most students, Professor McGonagall is actually a very, very kind professor.
So she decided to go to the Quidditch Pitch to check on things. It was getting dark, and if the snow hadn't been cleared by then, she wasn't going to continue the punishment.
Miss Granger is still just a little girl; it wouldn't be good if she caught a cold.
Moreover, corporal punishment is not the goal; it is enough that Miss Granger can recognize her mistake.
What? You mean Menethil?
Who is that? Is there such a person in her college?
Professor McGonagall trudged through the thick snow to the outside of the Quidditch Pitch.
As Professor McGonagall walked, the more she walked, the more guilty she felt. She truly hadn't expected the snow to be so deep!
Hopefully, poor Miss Granger won't blame her. After all, how can one succeed if they don't endure hardship when they're young?
After navigating the long tunnel, Professor McGonagall finally stepped onto the court. However, what she saw before her left her stunned.
"Lumos!"
A bright white glow flew out of Professor McGonagall's Wand and quickly circled the Quidditch Pitch.
The pitch-black stadium was completely deserted. There wasn't a single speck of snow to be seen, neither on the ground nor in the stands.
"How did they do that?!"
Professor McGonagall was puzzled.
She had been watching the surveillance cameras the whole time. So she was pretty sure that no one had used Wand in the Quidditch Pitch during the day.
So how exactly did they manage to clear the snow so quickly and so cleanly?
Come to think of it, she seemed to have heard the House-elf say that when that little guy named Menethil came to Hogwarts, he brought one of his House-elf with him.
At the time, she looked down on the Slytherin Young Master and girls with disdain and even protested to Dumbledore once.
However, I never expected that Menethil would be assigned to Ravenclaw.
That's right! It must be!
Professor McGonagall felt she had discovered the truth.
What a cunning little devil!
Although she was very unwilling, the other party had indeed successfully exploited the loophole. It seems she needs to be more thorough in her planning next time!
"Just you wait! You damn brat! This isn't over!"
