House-elves Are All Stubborn

With a swagger and humming an off-key tune, Bell strolled back to the Ravenclaw common room.

"Fiona! Have you missed your master?"

Bell found Fina sleeping comfortably on the sofa in a corner of the lounge.

"Aww~!"

Fina launched a serious protest against her inconsiderate owner for disturbing her sleep.

"Oh, I see. You missed me a lot, Fina 're so sweet!"

Ignoring Fina's resentful little glare, Bell hugged it to his chest and began to pet it comfortably.

Petting a cat is so much fun!

It's Sunday, and there aren't many people in the lounge. There are only some upperclassmen who have to study hard even on weekends because of the upcoming wizard exams, and they don't have time to rest.

Meanwhile, the younger Little Wizard were either sleeping in late in their dormitories or playing in the snow outside.

Bell tapped the ground with his toe, and an illusion barrier enveloped him.

The images and sounds inside the barrier will not be transmitted outside. No matter what Bell does inside the barrier, people outside can only see him quietly petting the cat.

"Lim ~!"

"Young Master, what are your orders?"

As always, Lim appeared before him the moment Bell called out.

"I don't want to eat lunch in the Great Hall today. Can you prepare some lunch for me?"

"Yes, Young Master. Do you have any requests for lunch?"

Lim asked respectfully.

"Also, go to your family's workshop and fetch a pair of earrings. Women's earrings, something exquisite, one with a danger prediction and the other with Shield Charm."

These earrings were a gift from Bell to Penelope.

The senior student was usually very kind to him. She would personally inform him of some of the college's arrangements; otherwise, Bell would have been called to Professor Flitwick's office countless times.

"Would you like me to get you a few pieces of jewelry as well?"

Bell thought for a moment and decided to give the other trinkets, besides the Ten Thousand Snakes, to Hermione. After all, who knew what outrageous things might happen at Hogwarts in the future? It would be good for the Little Witch to wear them for protection.

Bell silently apologized to Lim in his heart.

"Yes, Young Master. Is there anything else you require?"

Lim was already used to the strange and unusual requests his young Young Master made from time to time.

A qualified butler must be able to fulfill any wish of the master!

Bell looked at Lim strangely. Was it just his imagination? He thought he'd just seen a fleeting spark in Lim's eyes.

"There's one last thing. I need you to get the other House-elf at Hogwarts to help me observe all Hogwarts Little Wizard and see if anyone has been behaving strangely lately. Can you do that?"

Although Bell doesn't intend to attack the Basilisk out of respect for elders, that doesn't mean Bell 'll do nothing.

At least confirming the identity of the so-called Heir of Slytherin and keeping track of their movements are minor matters that don't really matter.

"No problem, please leave it to me, Young Master!"

Lim immediately patted his chest and assured Bell.

The more and more difficult the tasks, the more her value is proven!
