Would Millennial Basilisk Wine Be a Powerful Tonic?

Without Bell making any move, the spear above his head disintegrated and quickly formed a hemispherical shield in front of him.

The Basilisk rammed headlong into the shield formed by the Thousand Changes, and was then bounced back in an unstoppable manner.

Seeing the Basilisk lying on the ground, dizzy and unable to get up for a while, Bell disappointedly dispersed the magic power he had gathered in his hands.

He had just clung to his last hope that the Basilisk was actually the kind that looked 'small' but was incredibly powerful, like his own Fina.

There's a saying that goes, "The best things come in small packages."

However, cruel reality slapped Bell in the face again; this Basilisk was really weak!

"Sigh~!"

Bell sighed resignedly.

He raised his left hand and flicked his index finger at the Basilisk. A small piece of the Thousand Changes separated from the shield, Transfiguration a long needle, and shot out at lightning speed. Before the Basilisk could react, it pierced its skull and pinned it to the ground.

The dying Basilisk struggled violently, its thick, powerful tail swaying left and right, smashing the surrounding walls, kicking up clouds of dust, and making a loud noise.

Bell watched the Basilisk struggle indifferently, making no attempt to stop it.

Since Professor McGonagall was already on her way, it made no difference whether he stopped her or not.

Sure enough, before the Basilisk was completely dead, Professor McGonagall appeared at the end of the corridor.

"Oh my god! What happened here!?"

Professor McGonagall's exclamation could be heard from afar.

"As you can see, Professor, it's just a big snake."

Also, it's not dead yet, and I'm not sure how much of its vision it still has, so for safety's sake, I advise you not to get close.

Bell kindly reminded him.

Why are you here?

Professor McGonagall looked at Bell with some suspicion.

She noticed that she seemed to be seeing Bell more frequently lately. It seemed he was also present during the previous large-scale attack.

"As you can see, Professor, it's just an ordinary night out."

By the way, I learned this from the Little Wizard at your academy.

Bell promptly shifted the blame to the Little Lions.

And strictly speaking, he wasn't lying. After all, his first nighttime outing was with Harry and Meghan.

Even with years of teaching experience and having dealt with all sorts of Little Wizard, Professor McGonagall felt like punching someone at this moment.

Do you really think she's senile?!

Just as the two were talking, the Basilisk, which had almost been forgotten, finally breathed its last in its long serpentine life and died...

Sensing that the Basilisk's life force had completely disappeared, Bell snapped his fingers and summoned Lim.

"What are your orders, Young Master?"

"Take this Basilisk back and soak it in alcohol for my dad to drink. He works very hard and deserves some nourishment."

Oh, and remember to remove the eyeballs and fangs; I need them.

"Bell gave the order."

"Yes, Young Master."

Just as Lim was about to collect the Basilisk's corpse, the third person present objected.

"What do you want to do!?"

"As you can see, Professor, I am collecting my spoils."

As the saying goes, whoever hits it, keeps it.

With that, Bell stepped between Professor McGonagall and the Basilisk. He wouldn't allow anyone to steal the spoils he had worked so hard to acquire.

"Where did you get that proverb from?"

Professor McGonagall swore that if this wretched brat in front of her weren't a Hogwarts student, and if she herself weren't a Hogwarts professor, she would have taught him a lesson with her Wand!

"Then, Young Master, shall I head back now?"

After finishing cleaning up the Basilisk's corpse, Lim asked respectfully.

"Go."

Bell waved his hand, indicating that Lim could leave.

Professor McGonagall was seething with rage as she watched the House-elf disappear. But there was nothing she could do.

After all, this is Hogwarts. She can't Side-Along Apparition like the Hogwarts -House-elf.

"Come to my office with me. I need to get a good look at what happened tonight! (I'm going to give you a good beating!!!)"

Professor McGonagall stared intently at Bell, as if she would pull out Bell Wand and punish Bell severely if he dared to utter a single "no."

"That won't do, Professor."

(Professor McGonagall silently drew her Wand.)

"That freshman from your college named Ginny Weasley, her fate is still unknown."

"What!?"

Professor McGonagall thought that what had happened tonight was already surprising enough, but she never expected that something even more terrifying was waiting for her.

"Huh? Didn't I already say that? It's just..."

Bell suddenly stopped. After listening intently for a moment, he snapped his fingers towards the Girls' Bathroom under Professor McGonagall's wary gaze.

There was no way she could afford to be careless! That was Basilisk, after all! While Professor McGonagall didn't think she was no match for a Basilisk, she certainly couldn't underestimate a wizard capable of defeating Basilisk. Especially one who seemed to have won so easily?

A hissing sound came from the Girls' Bathroom. Bell used Illusion Spell to recreate Ginny's voice from before.

As the sound faded, the cave entrance, which had closed at some point, reopened, and a dark figure darted out and pounced into Bell's arms.

"Ptooey! Ouch~~"

Little Fina disgustedly spat the diary she was carrying in her mouth onto Bell's hand. If it weren't for her owner's insistence, the clean-loving bird would never have touched such a dirty thing with her mouth.

As for the Little Witch who had this diary before?

It wouldn't bother carrying something so big and heavy. So the female is still lying down there.

"Fina, you're amazing! Thank you for your hard work."

Bell first gently nuzzled Little Fina twice, praising the little hero, before turning his gaze back to Professor McGonagall, whose whole body was tense.

"It seems Ginny Weasley is lucky; she's still alive. However, she'll probably have to stay in bed for a while."

And this too.

Bell tossed Voldemort's Horcrux diary to Professor McGonagall.

Dumbledore would never allow him to take the Horcrux, so he simply handed the diary to Professor McGonagall.

"I think Professor Dumbledore would love to have a good chat with that guy inside."

Also, I would like you to pass on a message to Professor Dumbledore: "Whatever his plans may be next, please get them done quickly!"

After saying that, Bell ignored Professor McGonagall's reaction and turned to walk towards the dormitory.

If he doesn't go back to sleep soon, he might get dark circles under his eyes tomorrow. If that happens, Hermione will nag him again.

"Oh, right!"

Bell suddenly stopped in his tracks.

"Hey you dead bird over there, if you dare to spy on me again, I'll feed you to Fina! I wonder if you'll be able to revive after being eaten?"

"Awooo!"
