"Bell... Bell..."

Hermione nudged her boyfriend, who was lying on her lap. Professor McGonagall had called him several times, but Bell didn't respond at all.

"Sigh~!"

Having failed in his plan to pretend to be asleep, Bell had no choice but to slowly get up.

He hadn't had enough fun yet; these professors really have no sense of romance.

Seriously, Dumbledore came back way too fast! Did he even get his position reinstated before he rushed back?

Urged on by Hermione, Bell was forced to dispel the barrier and walk towards Professor McGonagall.

"Mr. Menethil, please come with me. Professor Dumbledore has some questions for you. Don't keep him waiting too long."

Professor McGonagall was very curious about where Bell had hidden himself. She searched for a long time but couldn't find him.

But now was clearly not the time to discuss that issue, and she didn't think the cunning little devil would tell her the truth.

"Professor, does Professor Dumbledore want to see Bell about something?"

Hermione asked worriedly.

"I don't know, but I think he'll find out when he gets to the Headmaster's Office."

"Then I want to go too!"

Hermione was extremely worried about letting Bell go to the Headmaster's Office alone. Although Bell had dealt with the Basilisk, theoretically, this should have been a good thing, a great thing that wouldn't be excessive even if he got 100 points.

However, whether it was a woman's intuition or something else, Hermione felt that Professor McGonagall's gaze toward Bell was somewhat unfriendly.

In short, it was definitely not an approving look.

"OK!"

"No!"

Bell and Professor McGonagall exchanged a glance, and the atmosphere became somewhat awkward for a moment.

"Professor, actually, My Hermione and I are of one Dumbledore, so when Professor Dumbledore questions 'me' or 'us,' it makes no difference."

Bell didn't want to chat with two old people by himself. With Hermione around, at least he wouldn't be so bored.

"Stop your sweet talk, Mr. Menethil. Professor Dumbledore has not authorized anyone else to travel with you."

Professor McGonagall said sternly.

"But he didn't forbid anyone else from coming with me, did he? And most importantly, Hermione isn't just anyone. Believe me, Professor Dumbledore will be very happy that Hermione can come along."

Yes, Bell was 100% certain that if Hermione went with him to see Dumbledore, Dumbledore would be very happy.

After all, anyone with even a slight understanding of the two would know that Hermione is much easier to deal with Bell. Getting information from Hermione is far simpler than trying to pry Bell's mouth open.

Whether it was something she thought of, or their persistence moved her, Professor McGonagall finally agreed to their request to go together.

After passing the famous stone statue at the entrance to the Headmaster's Office and climbing a spiral staircase, the Headmaster's Office of Hogwarts came into Bell for the first time.

Hmm... It's a pretty ordinary room. Apart from being located at the core magic node and protected by powerful defensive magic, there's nothing particularly noteworthy about it.

Hermione, on the other hand, looked on with surprise, touching and looking around. If Professor McGonagall hadn't been there, she probably would have taken out her Personal Terminal to take a picture.

As the door opened, Bell was surprised to find that there were three other people inside besides Dumbledore.

One of them was Dumbledore's personal apothecary, Snape, which is understandable. But the existence of the other two was truly beyond Bell's expectations.

"Mr. Weasley, what are you doing here?"

Bell asked in surprise.

Yes, this man is none other than Arthur Weasley, the renowned head of the Weasley family in the British Wizarding World. And the woman standing next to him must be his wife, Molly Weasley? Bell has never met Arthur's wife, so this is just speculation.

"Mr. Menethil, I came here specifically to thank you for saving my little daughter."

Arthur bowed and said.

"When I received the news that Ginny had an accident, my wife and I were terrified. Oh, this must be the first time you've met my wife, right? This is my wife Molly."

"Darling, thank you so much! I don't know how to express my gratitude! If you ever need any help in the future, please don't hesitate to ask, and we will definitely do our best to repay you!"

Molly came over and hugged Bell, and as she spoke, she burst into tears.

"You're too kind. I didn't really do anything. Also, just call me Bell; I'm not used to people calling me Menethil."

Bell truly felt unworthy of Arthur and his wife's gratitude.

Last night, he didn't pay any attention to Ginny's condition from beginning to end, so Ginny's survival was really just due to good luck.

Perhaps even his own Fina deserves more credit than he did?

"Alright, Arthur, and Molly, could you give me a little time? I have some questions I'd like to ask our little hero. We'll have plenty of time to talk later."

Dumbledore interrupted them. He sat in the chair behind his desk, a smile on his face as always, but his eyes were unusually sharp.

After Arthur pulled his wife aside, Dumbledore finally revealed why he had summoned Bell.

"Bell, may I call you that? Because you just said you don't like being called Menethil."

"Of course, Professor, whatever you prefer."

"So, Bell, did you kill the Basilisk?"

"Yes."

Upon hearing Bell's answer, Professor McGonagall abruptly turned and glared at him.

"That shameless brat!"

"So, how did you kill the Basilisk?"

Dumbledore continued to ask.

"Trade Secret, Professor."

"Is that so? Then, may I see the Basilisk's corpse?"

"The Basilisk's body has been sent home, and I don't know where it is now."

Dumbledore silent; clearly, Bell's answer did not satisfy him.

Seeing the atmosphere growing increasingly heavy, Hermione couldn't help but step forward.

"Professor, may I say a few words?"

"Certainly."

Dumbledore looked at Hermione and smiled kindly once again.

"Old fox!"

Bell subtly pursed his lips.

"Professor, actually it's like this. Before, I..."

Next, Hermione gave a general account of the events related to the Basilisk that had occurred over the past six months, from the Halloween feast until she learned this morning that the Basilisk had been killed by Bell.

Seeing everyone in the room listening intently to Hermione's story, Bell yawned out of boredom and did not stop Hermione's actions.

After all, that was the very reason he insisted on bringing Hermione along. He himself didn't have the patience to explain so much to a few unrelated people.
