Ignoring the hostile look from Little Shanna, Yomi, still feeling a bit weak, struggled to get off the sofa.

"You must be hungry by now. I'll go prepare dinner."

"No need, Sister Yomi. I already prepared dinner while you were sleeping."

Bell couldn't just sit around doing nothing and wait for Yomi to wake up before cooking for them.

So, he had already made preparations... ordering Lim to prepare dinner. However, this couldn't be known to Yomi. Because this time, Lim was still illegally entering the country.

There was no other way. Although Lim's mission was complete, Bell couldn't just let her travel alone across half the globe back to Britain.

Actually, Shanna had volunteered to prepare dinner for her Gege. The little girl even said she wanted to try cooking Japan food.

However, knowing that his younger sister's condition was extremely unstable, and that she might be able to eat one meal but could die the next, Bell did his best to comfort her for Yomi's safety.

At 11 p. m., Bell returned to his room to rest.

My parents returned around 9 o'clock. They said the negotiations didn't seem to go very smoothly.

The negotiations were not only going poorly, William was practically ready to curse!

He had just finalized a clause with the other party in the morning, but by the afternoon the other party had changed.

William wasn't really concerned about changing personnel. The problem was, the other party was saying that the discussions that morning didn't count!?

William was naturally unwilling to let all his efforts of the morning go to waste. He angrily questioned the other party, "What on earth is going on?"

And guess what? The other person said that he and the person from that morning weren't from the same organization. And that his organization was the representative of the Japan Curse World.

"Then why didn't you come this morning?!"

Although he was very unhappy, William could only grit his teeth and bear it because he was far from home.

However, he did not expect that this was only the beginning of everything.

Not long after he started talking to the new guy, other people walked into the conference room.

At first, William thought these people had come to the wrong place. But after the translator explained, he learned that these newcomers were also there to discuss a business partnership with him.

While William was still in a daze, a number of people walked in one after another, and judging from their appearance, they did not seem to belong to the same organization.

In the end, William didn't get to say much; he just watched the group of people argue.

The scene was so chaotic that even though the translator was sweating profusely, William still couldn't fully understand what was happening.

He could only roughly understand that these people seemed to come from many different places, such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Hokkaido, Okinawa, and Shikoku.

William once again missed his son. If Bell were here, he would be able to understand what these people were saying.

Actually, William really overestimated Bell this time. Bell's Japanese isn't very good, so even if Bell were there, he'd probably be completely confused and wouldn't know what these people were arguing about.

In short, if William were to summarize today's events, it would be in one word: "Chaotic".

The various Onmyoji families and organizations were not subordinate to each other, and none of them submitted to the others. Even the Muggle government got involved. This was far beyond William's imagination.

Frankly, William didn't have high hopes for the upcoming negotiations. But it was too early to say anything now; hopefully, things would take a turn for the better.

'Knock knock~'

A sudden knock on the door interrupted Bell's reverie.

"Bell, are you asleep?"

Yomi's voice reached Bell's ears.

"Not yet. Please wait a moment."

Reaching the door, Bell opened it.

Yomi, standing outside the door, was dressed in a sailor uniform, her waist-length jet-black hair neatly tied up.

Bell looked at Yomi strangely, wondering what the other party wanted to do so late at night.

And just how much does she like sailor uniforms that she wears them at home late at night?

"I'm so sorry to bother you so late. My father has returned. If possible, he would like to say hello to everyone."

Yomi first bowed and apologized before explaining his purpose.

"No problem, I'll go get my parents right away."

Bell readily agreed.

As for his own younger sister?

By this time, Shanna should already be asleep, and besides, it doesn't really matter whether the little girl goes or not.

Led by Yomi, Bell and his parents followed him to the study on the second floor.

Yomi knocked lightly on the door twice. After a "Please come in" came from inside, Yomi opened the door, stood respectfully by the door, and gestured for Bell and the others to come in first.

Bell followed her parents into the room. In the study, a middle-aged man, about 40 years old, was standing in the center of the room.

The man had a scar about half the size of his palm near the corner of his left eye, which looked like a burn. His left sleeve was empty, and his only remaining right hand was supported by a cane, suggesting that he was not very mobile.

"I am truly sorry for greeting you all so late. I hope you can forgive my rudeness. I am Isayama Naraku, the current head of the Isayama Family."

The man bowed to Bell and the others and introduced himself.

After Bell briefly introduced his family, the two sides took their seats.

Looking at Yomi, who stood respectfully behind Isayama Naraku, Bell suddenly felt the soft sofa beneath him was a little prickly. Should he stand up too?

Before Bell could reach a conclusion, Isayama Naraku spoke first, saying, "My humble abode is simple, I wonder if you all find it comfortable? If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask my daughter."

"Not at all. Miss Yomi has treated us very well. Rather, we are the ones who have troubled you, and we are truly sorry."

After that evening's pleasantries, Bell never saw Isayama Naraku again. Yomi told him that Naraku had taken over the Curse World in Tokyo and was busy quelling the chaos caused by the death of the Tsuchimiya Family.

Bell then realized that the Isayama Family seemed to have a rather high status in the Curse World.

It's not surprising that Bell was slow to react. Since arriving in Japan, Bell had only met two members of the Isayama Family.

Moreover, the residence of the patriarch, while not exactly ordinary, was certainly not grand either. It differed considerably from the Japanese-style mansion Bell had imagined.

Besides, shouldn't a large family usually have both a butler and servants? He didn't see any Japan -style maids.

Cough cough, he definitely didn't feel any regret... well, maybe a little bit. Just a tiny bit!
