Hermione's Mom Was Very Worried
Mrs. Granger is very worried lately! Extremely worried!
Because her daughter Hermione has been in a very bad mood lately.
At the beginning of this month, my daughter, for some unknown reason, hid in her room and cried for a long time, and no one could persuade her to stop.
"Sigh!"
Her daughter was getting older and had begun to have her own secrets and worries. Mrs. Granger felt both gratified and concerned about this.
Tomorrow is the first day of school for my daughter.
Tomorrow morning, my daughter will once again head to that magical Platform 9 3/4, board the train, and travel to that magical, mysterious world, to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Mrs. Granger was very curious about what the train station behind that wall was like, and what her daughter's school was like.
Unfortunately, she didn't have magic. So she couldn't get through the wall at King's Cross Station, and she couldn't get to her daughter's school.
Bringing her wandering thoughts back to Mrs. Granger, she focused her attention on the bacon frying in the pan.
She is making breakfast.
On the last day, Mrs. Granger decided to put on her best and prepare the most delicious meal for her daughter!
Although I don't know why, after returning from Hogwarts, my daughter didn't like the food she cooked as much.
Could it be that all the wizards' food is so delicious?
Mrs. Granger felt somewhat indignant.
Just as Mrs. Granger was encouraging herself and preparing to create an even more delicious meal than the wizards, a loud 'slap!', as if someone had slapped her, came from the living room behind her.
Mrs. Granger turned around curiously, thinking that something had fallen to the ground and made the sound.
Thud!
Mrs. Granger dropped the spatula from her hand.
What did she see?!
She saw something... something... difficult to describe in words, appear in her living room!?
If it weren't for the fact that she had once seen the legendary Goblin in that wizarding street called Diagon Alley (although those Goblin looked completely different from the legends, and even somewhat subverted Mrs. Granger's worldview), and thus could be considered somewhat well-traveled, Mrs. Granger would have called the police.
"Please don't be nervous, Madam."
Looking at Mrs. Granger, who was tense all over and didn't even dare to breathe, Lim spoke to comfort her.
"My name is Lim. I have come to deliver an item to Hermione Granger on the orders of my Young Master Bell Menethil."
Also, please forgive me for Apparition directly into your living room, as I cannot be seen by Muggle due to Statute of Secrecy.
"Excuse me, may I see Miss Hermione Granger? My Young Master instructed me to personally deliver the item to Miss Granger."
After giving a polite bow, Lim briefly explained the reason for his sudden appearance there.
"Excuse me, may I see Miss Hermione Granger?"
Seeing that the lady in front of him was still in a daze, Lim had no choice but to repeat his request again.
Within the Perception Domain that Lim had learned from his Young Master, she clearly sensed that Hermione was located on the second floor.
"Oh! Of course!"
Mrs. Granger finally snapped out of her shock. She first turned off the fire in the stove, then shouted towards the stairwell, "Hermione! Someone's looking for you!"
"By the way, what was the name of your Young Master again?"
Mrs. Granger turned around and asked.
She was so surprised that she couldn't hear what the other person said.
"Bell Menethil, madam."
"Bell!?"
Mrs. Granger was very familiar with this name.
Whenever my daughter talks about magic, this name appears in at least two out of three sentences.
Looking at Li... what was Li again, standing straight in the center of the living room, waiting for Hermione to come down?
In short, Mrs. Granger temporarily suppressed her irrelevant thoughts and called upstairs again, "Hermione! Bell is looking for you!"
Thump!
Clang! Tap tap tap!
Amidst a flurry of footsteps, Hermione scrambled down the stairs.
Behind her, Hermione's father, Mr. Granger, followed curiously.
He was quite familiar with the name "Bell." He was very curious about who this person was, that his usually proud daughter would speak of him so highly.
"Where is Bell?"
Before she could even steady herself, Hermione quickly scanned her living room. However, she didn't see Bell; instead, she saw another familiar face.
"Lim!? What are you doing here? I mean, did Bell send you?"
Hermione asked expectantly.
God knows how long it's been since she last heard from Bell.
At least in her opinion, it must have been several decades, right?
"Good morning, Miss Granger. The Young Master asked me to give this to you personally."
Lim first bowed calmly, then took out an exquisite box from his pocket, held it with both hands, and handed it to Hermione.
What's in here?
Taking the box, Hermione asked curiously.
"I don't know. I can't open the Young Master you gave me without Young Master permission."
As he spoke, Lim used his Magic Perception his surroundings again to make sure there were no threatening individuals nearby.
Lim always strives to do her best in any task assigned to her by her Young Master.
"Well then, now that the items have been handed over to you, I'll take my leave."
After bowing once more, Lim Side-Along Apparition and left.
"Etc..."
Hermione, who had originally wanted to ask Lim about Bell's condition, could only helplessly withdraw her hand when she saw the empty living room in front of her.
"Hermione, quickly open it and see what's inside!"
The Granger couple curiously approached and urged their daughter on.
The two were very curious: what could possibly be so unusual as to warrant such a unique method of delivery? Didn't wizards usually use owls to deliver things?
Hermione, equally curious, placed the box on the coffee table under the watchful eyes of her parents, and then carefully opened it.
The Granger couple crowded around the coffee table, craning their necks to peer into the box.
"Ah—!" *2
That was Mrs. Mrs. Granger and Hermione screaming.
Mr. Granger was also startled and took two steps back. Then, realizing what was happening, he immediately tried to rush forward to protect his wife and daughter.
Then, to his shock, he saw his own daughter, screaming, reach into the box and pick up the snake!
"Hermione!? What are you doing!? Quick! Gently put that snake down and get behind Daddy!"
At that moment, Mr. Granger felt an urge to strangle that guy named "Bell." The guy had actually put a snake in a box and given it to his daughter?
How could anyone be so vicious?!
"Dad, don't be nervous. Ten Thousand Snakes isn't a snake; it's actually a Magic Puppet."
Hermione had been longing for the Ten Thousand Snakes that Bell had taken back for a long time. Unexpectedly, Bell had Lim deliver it to her this morning.
"That Bell guy, he didn't even warn me beforehand! Honestly!"
Hermione 'complained' to herself in a sweet way.
