Bell's Patronus
Soon, the Dementor arrived outside the carriage where Bell and his two companions were.
As the Dementor opened the carriage door, a chilling aura rushed in, making one's hair stand on end.
Bell felt happiness trying to leave him, and sad, painful images flashed through his mind.
With an annoyed "tsk," Bell used Occlumency to control his thoughts.
However, just as Bell was waiting for the Dementor to get lost, Shanna suddenly leaned against him from behind.
"Gege ..."
The little girl's weak voice made Bell turn around in a panic.
Bell saw that her younger sister's face was pale and her body was trembling slightly, as if she was about to faint at any moment.
Meanwhile, after noticing Shanna's unusual behavior, the Dementor actually tried to enter the carriage!
Ignoring his confusion about why his younger sister was so affected, Bell hugged Shanna with one arm and took out his Wand with the other.
"Get out of here!!!"
"Expecto Patronum!"
"Roar~!"
A deafening roar echoed through the sky, shattering the train windows. A colossal white beast swept through the carriages, slamming the Dementor away and pinning it to the ground.
The giant beast pressed one of its claws down on the Dementor and lowered its head to bite Dementor.
Sizzle!
With a powerful tug, the giant beast tore off the Dementor's upper body and swallowed it whole.
He swallowed it!?
Bell was genuinely astonished to see his Patronus devour a Dementor in just a few bites.
The Patronus Charm, as the name suggests, is primarily used to ward off Dementor and protect wizards from harm.
While it's not to say that the Patronus Charm can't kill Dementor, it's very difficult and requires extremely high magical skill.
But now, Bell's Patronus has just killed a Dementor so easily and cleanly!?
Bell could clearly sense that the Dementor's presence had indeed disappeared.
Moreover, after devouring the Dementor, his Patronus actually became slightly more solid.
Bell had never heard of such a situation before.
"Roar~!"
After devouring the Dementor, Bell's Patronus once again roared to the sky.
With the burst of magic, a visible ripple spread outwards from the giant beast's mouth in all directions.
The other Dementor, sensing the disappearance of their companions' auras and wanting to investigate, immediately scattered in panic, like mice seeing a cat.
Sensing that his Patronus still wanted to chase after the Dementor, Bell quickly stopped it.
After that roar, the Patronus's form had dimmed considerably. Bell, still trying to understand what had happened, wouldn't allow anything to happen to his Patronus.
Putting the Patronus aside for the moment, Bell took out two bottles of drinks mixed with Felix Felicis. He handed one to Hermione and held the other in his hand, feeding it to Shanna in small sips.
"Shanna, how are you feeling?"
Bell asked worriedly.
Shanna nodded without saying anything. However, it was clear from her expression that the little girl had calmed down.
After confirming that Shanna and Hermione were both alright, Bell finally had time to observe his Patronus.
If Bell were to choose the most troubling Curses over the years, Bell would undoubtedly choose the Patronus Charm.
Bell has been able to successfully cast Curses are much more difficult than the Patronus Charm, such as the Fiendfyre Curse. But the Patronus Charm is the only one that Bell has never been able to cast successfully even once.
Let alone a complete Patronus, even the most basic white mist, Bell can only successfully cast when he is by Shanna's side.
On the contrary, Shanna mastered the Patronus Charm with ease, as if taking candy from a baby.
Although he always pretended to be clueless, Bell actually knew very well why he couldn't master the Patronus Charm.
For Bell, even though he has lived in this world for more than 10 years, it is still such an absurd thing as time travel. So even now, he still often doubts whether everything he has now is just a dream.
Bell was always afraid that one day he would suddenly wake up from his dream and return to that boring, hopeless daily routine.
This fear was only slightly alleviated when he was with Shanna.
For Bell, Shanna's innocent smile was the first ray of light piercing the darkness in his heart. Only Shanna could bring him peace of mind.
So, when Bell discovered that Shanna, for some reason, was completely defenseless against the Dementor' ability to drain her happiness, her sister's weak and helpless appearance left Bell with only one thought in her mind.
Kill it!!!
Without time to think, Bell instinctively used the Patronus Charm specifically designed to Dementor.
Then, unexpectedly, Bell actually succeeded!
The Patronus before us is a tiger-shaped animal, about 3 meters tall and over 6 meters long, with a tail that is roughly the same length as its body.
It has a thick mane that extends from its forehead to its tail. Its fangs are exposed, and its sturdy limbs have long, sharp claws.
What truly sets this behemoth apart is the pair of wings on its back.
A normal tiger, no matter how big it is, cannot have wings.
So, Bell's Patronus is actually a Magical Animals! And it's a ferocious beast that almost only exists in China mythology and legends—the Qiongqi!
Qiongqi is one of the "Four Fiends" in ancient China mythology. It resembles a tiger with a pair of wings, enjoys eating people, and likes to punish the good and promote the evil.
Although the Qiongqi was not some mythical creature from Qiongqi to Cultivator, its man-eating nature and Qiongqi strength led to its expulsion from Cultivator -inhabited areas hundreds of years ago.
In modern times, very few people have been able to see Qiongqi in person.
The very few "lucky ones" who encountered Qiongqi mostly ended up in its stomach.
"This is so interesting!"
Bell marveled as he examined his Patronus.
"What's so interesting?"
Hermione asked, puzzled. She and Shanna also curiously came closer.
Shanna, in particular, knew that her Gege had been unable to successfully cast the Patronus Charm for some reason. Therefore, the little girl was incredibly curious about her Gege's Patronus. She even forgot that she was still feeling a bit weak and hurriedly followed him out.
"Patronus should be generated from joyful emotions, representing the desire to protect."
Qiongqi is a notorious ferocious beast in China that enjoys eating people.
My Patronus is actually such a ferocious beast, isn't that interesting?
A meaningful smile appeared on Bell's lips.
