Hermione's Stomach Hurt
Reaching out to touch his Patronus, Bell couldn't help but find it even more amusing.
As is well known, the Patronus is a Curses specifically developed to counter Dementor. It has no physical form and no physical destructive power.
But now, Bell has personally touched his Patronus.
It feels warm and soft to the touch, like touching a ball of pearl cotton.
He glanced down at the deep claw marks under Qiongqi's feet.
His Patronus not only has a physical form and can cause physical destruction, but it also seems to have considerable destructive power.
Furthermore, Patronus are primarily composed of joyful emotions. And joy is often fleeting. Therefore, under normal circumstances, the existence of Patronus is not very long.
But several minutes have passed since then, and there is still no sign that Bell's Patronus is dissipating.
It's important to know that, apart from the initial casting of the Curses, Bell did not inject any magic power into Qiongqi's body afterward.
In other words, for some unknown reason, the magic power that Bell used to create the Patronus did not dissipate into the surrounding environment, but was instead contained within Qiongqi's body, thus maintaining Qiongqi's long-term existence.
"What an excellent Patronus Charm."
A sigh came from behind, interrupting Bell's thoughts and reminding Bell that this was not a suitable place for research.
Turning around, Bell saw a middle-aged man in a tattered robe walking towards them from the back of the train.
As Bell moved, Qiongqi also turned its body. It lowered its body slightly, gathering strength in its limbs, assuming a posture of ready to pounce.
"Oh! Please don't be nervous, I mean no harm. I'm the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, you can call me Professor Lupin."
Lupin quickly stopped in his tracks. He didn't want to get into a fight with his students on his very first day at work.
If this seemingly extraordinary little guy is accidentally hurt, he might not have to get off the train and could just ride it back to London.
Finding a job was incredibly difficult for Lupin!
Therefore, he cherished this rare opportunity.
Not to mention, he can also meet his old friend's son at Hogwarts.
After calming Qiongqi, Bell greeted Lupin, "Hello, Professor Lupin. My name is Bell Menethil. May I ask what brings you here?"
"I heard that roar earlier, so I was a little worried and came to check on the situation. Seeing that nothing bad had happened, I was relieved."
Lupin explained.
"Also, Mr. Menethil, could you please put your Patronus away? It's a bit... too big."
Looking at Qiongqi, who had to duck to avoid bumping its head on the train Qiongqi, Lupin said to Bell with admiration.
To be honest, this was the first time Lupin had ever seen such a unique Patronus. Judging from its shape, it should be a Magical Animals?
Lupin only knew that Dumbledore's Patronus was a Phoenix; this was only the second time he had seen someone's Patronus be Magical Animals. And Lupin couldn't even recognize this creature!
If the occasion and timing weren't so inappropriate, Lupin would have loved to sit down and have a proper chat with this Little Wizard in front of him.
"Of course, Professor."
Even if Lupin hadn't said anything, Bell wasn't going to let the group of Little Wizard nearby continue to stare at him with a mixture of fear and curiosity.
Turning to look at Qiongqi, Bell hesitated for a moment before taking a bottle out of his pocket.
He carefully controlled the Qiongqi's body to shrink little by little until it was the size of a finger before putting it into the bottle.
Bell wasn't confident he could cast this mutated Patronus Charm again. Therefore, he carefully kept the bottle close to his body, planning to study his peculiar Patronus in detail once he arrived at Hogwarts.
After putting away Qiongqi, Bell casually repaired the broken car window before looking at Professor Lupin again.
"Professor, if there's nothing else, may we return to the carriage?"
"Certainly."
After gesturing for Bell to do as he pleased, Lupin hurried toward the front of the train. It seemed he was heading to find a train conductor.
After settling back into her seat, Bell looked at her sister beside her with concern.
"Shanna, how are you feeling? Do you want to take a nap?"
Shanna shook her head and said, "No need, Gege. I feel much better now. Besides, we're almost at Hogwarts. If I sleep now, I might have to wake up again before I even fall asleep."
Seeing that Shanna's complexion had indeed improved a lot, Bell nodded and did not insist any further.
Hearing Bell and Shanna talking across from her, Hermione became somewhat unhappy.
She was terrified too. But Bell, that guy, was only concerned about Shanna and didn't even bother to check on her?
"Bell, I... I'm still feeling a little unwell."
Hermione is trying to get her boyfriend's attention.
"Feeling unwell? Where does it hurt?"
Bell immediately asked nervously.
He didn't see the Dementor harm Hermione, did he? Could it be that Hermione, like Shanna, was also provoked?
Yes, Shanna was greatly shocked to learn that Bell and Hermione were dating, which led to her being completely defenseless when facing the Dementor.
After the Dementor opened the carriage door, certain thoughts that Shanna had just suppressed immediately surfaced in her mind with incredibly clear images.
"My Gege doesn't like her anymore!"
"My Gege doesn't want her anymore!"
"My Gege is disgusted with her!"
"My Gege and Hermione ran away!"
'...'
It's no wonder they're siblings who grew up together. Even in terms of their mindset, Shanna is very similar to Bell.
Both Bell and Shanna are both strong and fragile in spirit.
The two can overcome all hardships and tribulations for each other, but they can also be easily defeated by the other's actions.
Otherwise, Shanna, who had successfully mastered Occlumency and the Patronus Charm and had no psychological trauma, should have been much more composed than Bell when facing Dementor.
"Here."
Hermione rubbed her stomach.
She hadn't thought there was anything wrong at first, but now that Bell had asked her, Hermione actually felt a bit uncomfortable in her stomach.
Hermione's voice brought Bell back to his usual erratic thoughts.
He quickly stood up and half-squatted in front of Hermione.
"Let me see."
Bell removed Hermione's hand from her stomach and placed his right palm on Hermione's lower abdomen.
10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute...
"..."
Bell silently withdrew his hand, lowered his head, and remained silent.
"Be... Bell? What... what happened to me?"
Seeing Bell's silence, Hermione started to panic.
She only meant to get Bell's attention, that's why she said it casually. Could it be that something really serious has happened to her?
"Cough cough, it's nothing."
Bell opened his mouth with difficulty and said in a low voice.
"I ate too much earlier and then got a sudden fright, which caused some indigestion. I'll be fine after resting for a while."
