Deceptive Bell
"It is impossible to bring someone back to life."
Just kidding, if Bell had that kind of ability, he would have already taken his sister and girlfriend on a world tour. Why would he waste time here?
"However, I can pay compensation."
Bell reached into his pocket, wanting to take out some money.
"I don't want your stinking money! Don't think you can do whatever you want just because you have a little money!"
Ron felt he had been severely insulted.
Is he someone who needs money?
That's right! He is!
But!
Even if he's desperately short of money, he wouldn't trade Scabbers's life for money! Scabbers is priceless!
Bell's hand suddenly froze.
He certainly didn't suddenly realize his mistake after being reprimanded by Ron. Rather, Bell discovered that he had absolutely no money! Not a single Bronze Knut!
Although his own mother gives him a considerable amount of Galleon every month.
However, since Bell didn't need any money at Hogwarts, he gave all the Galleon to Lim.
Faced with this unexpected predicament, Bell quickly began to think of solutions.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of Harry and Neville, who were standing there dumbfounded, and a brilliant idea popped into Bell's mind.
"Ahem, well, I have a question for you guys. Harry, do you have Personal Terminal?"
Bell smiled and looked at Harry.
Although he didn't know what Bell meant, honest little Harry nodded subconsciously.
"Very good! So Neville, what about you?"
Bell then turned to look at Neville.
"Yes, yes, my grandma gave me one."
Neville answered, trembling.
"Very good!"
Finally, Bell turned his gaze back to Ron, his smile looking utterly smug.
"So, Ron, what about you?"
"... What do you mean!? Just tell me what you mean!?"
Ron has a hammer!
Even the Wand in his hand was only because the previous one was unusable, and he had just been lucky enough to win a big prize, so he was able to get a brand new Wand.
As for Personal Terminal?
He didn't want that kind of useless piece of junk at all!
I don't want to at all!
o(TヘTo)
"Ahem, I didn't mean anything by it. I was just asking, I was just asking."
Bell's smile became even more smug.
"But look, Christmas is just around the corner, isn't it?"
I heard that, I don't know when it started, it has become a custom to send each other messages on Christmas morning to wish each other a happy holiday.
Look, your two good friends both have Personal Terminal, but you don't.
Does that mean that on Christmas morning, you'll be the only one who won't receive any greetings? And you'll have to wait anxiously by the window for an owl that might never even arrive?
I don't really understand. I'm just curious and want to ask, if this continues, will someone be ostracized?
And let me clarify beforehand, I'm not praising Personal Terminal. I'm saying, look at the students at Hogwarts now, most of them have a Personal Terminal, right?
If, and I mean if, you had one, wouldn't you be able to find a way to add those pretty, cute Little Witch as friends? It's a surefire way to find a partner!
As a Gryffindor, you're not going to tell me you don't even have the courage to ask someone for their contact information, are you? Professor McGonagall would be furious if that happened.
Lastly, I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard that the famous Gryffindor twin brothers, your two good Gege — George and Fred —apparently earned money by selling some interesting gadgets and bought their own Personal Terminal?
At this point, Bell also had to express his admiration for the two brothers, George and Fred.
Bell didn't know anything about the brothers' magical abilities. But their business acumen was truly phenomenal!
It was only 1993! Personal Terminal had only been around for a few short years.
As a result, these two brothers somehow managed to start an e-commerce business without any formal training. And apparently, they're doing quite well, with their business booming?
This is practically setting a new trend, isn't it?
Ron remained silent.
He wasn't afraid of being ostracized at all. He trusted his two good brothers.
Ron glanced at his two good friends standing on either side of him, who had been blocking him from the beginning, not only failing to help him avenge Scabbers but practically pinning him to the ground.
Yes! He wasn't afraid at all!
He certainly wouldn't want any Little Witch's contact information.
Women and such would only slow him down the speed at which he draws his Wand; he doesn't care about them at all! He has his brothers, that's enough for him!
Ron glanced furtively at Hermione, who was watching them with concern.
Yes! He doesn't want it at all!
He would never envy or be jealous of his two older Gege.
What's there to envy? It's not like only George and Fred have Personal Terminal.
When Percy became Student Council President, his parents bought Percy a Personal Terminal as a reward and to make it easier Percy Percy to carry out his duties.
(Actually, Percy insisted on buying the Personal Terminal so he could contact his girlfriend, Penelope.)
And then there's Ginny, the most pampered and only little princess in the family. To celebrate Ginny starting school, didn't Mom and Dad buy Ginny a Personal Terminal? That way, Ginny can contact family and friends anytime. Congratulations!
So it's not surprising that George and Fred have Personal Terminal, is it?
Thinking back to when George and Fred first bought their Personal Terminal, they relentlessly came to him every day for a whole week to show them off.
He! Ron! Not at all! Envious!
"I want 10 Galleon!"
Ron glared at Bell through gritted teeth. The market price for Personal Terminal was 10 Galleon.
He wasn't interested in Bell's compensation. It's just that, as the saying goes, the dead cannot be brought back to life, and so can the dead rat.
So, he just wanted to buy a Personal Terminal as a memento of Scabbers.
Thus, whenever he picks up that Personal Terminal, he can't help but think of Scabbers, as if Scabbers is still by his side.
It's decided! His Personal Terminal will be called "Scabbers Phone"!
A satisfied smile spread across Bell's face. He walked up to Ron and patted him on the shoulder with a sense of satisfaction.
"A wise choice."
As he spoke, Bell took a brand-new Personal Terminal out of his pocket and handed it to Ron.
"This is the latest Personal Terminal, expected to be released around Christmas. It will be priced at 12 Galleon."
Although he had no money, Bell had given away several Personal Terminal during his previous trips to China and Japan. As a result, he had developed the habit of always carrying a few Personal Terminal with him.
Having perfectly resolved Ron's problem, Bell walked blissfully toward his girlfriend.
He was once again amazed by his own wit. How could he be so clever?
In a good mood, Bell felt he could probably eat half again as much as usual for dinner.
Hermione watched with a bright smile as her boyfriend slowly walked towards her.
"So, which pretty and cute Little Witch have you added as friends?"
"Well..."
I'm retracting the foreword. It seems I might not even get to eat dinner tonight.
