A Date (Part 2)
After leaving Honeydukes Sweetshop, Bell and Hermione walked along the street for a while before arriving at Zonko's Joke Shop.
However, neither Bell, who was skilled at making magical items, nor Hermione, who was serious, were particularly interested in the prank items sold in this shop.
So, after a quick look around, the two left without buying anything.
Next to Zonko's Joke Shop is the famous Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions.
Because her mother and sister both loved this store, Bell and her father William mostly wore clothes from the Elegance brand.
Of course, Shanna's favorite clothes were the magical outfits made and given to her by Bell.
Standing outside the clothing store, gazing at the exquisite garments displayed in the glass window, Hermione's eyes shone with a fervent light.
She eagerly pulled Bell into the store, looking here and touching there, seemingly unable to put down any of the clothes.
"If you like them, try them all on."
Bell looked at his girlfriend with amusement. This was the first time he had ever seen Hermione display such a fanatical expression towards anything other than magical books.
"But these clothes are all too expensive."
Hermione glanced at the price tag on the clothes and said hesitantly.
"It's alright, I prepared extra Galleon for this trip, so it'll be enough."
It might be a little embarrassing to admit, but the Galleon on Bell's body was actually something he got from his sister last night.
As mentioned before, Bell gave all his allowance to Lim.
Although Bell was absolutely certain that if he asked Lim for it, Lim would be more than happy to give him all the money he had previously saved, Bell was simply too embarrassed to ask!
Fortunately, Shanna always kept her allowance herself.
The little girl didn't usually have many expenses. When she heard her Gege needed it, Shanna was overjoyed.
If Bell hadn't stopped her, Shanna probably would have given all her savings to her Gege.
"Bell! I know you have money. But I can't just spend your money however I want. That wouldn't be right!"
Hermione stared at her boyfriend with a very serious expression.
Hermione couldn't be lying if she said she wasn't happy that Bell was willing to spend money on her. But they weren't married yet, and she couldn't keep spending Bell's money all the time.
Even if you're married, you can't spend money so recklessly!
A certain innocent Little Witch has already begun to think about life after marriage.
"Um... well, how about I treat it as my Christmas present to you?"
Seeing his girlfriend's serious expression, Bell had no choice but to settle for second best.
Christmas is just around the corner, and I've been struggling to figure out what to get you. You know I'm not good at picking out gifts.
"It's not out of the question as a Christmas present. But you have to promise me you won't give me anything else for Christmas!"
Even now, Hermione still remembers that not long after they met, after she accepted the Personal Terminal that Bell gave her, even though they had agreed that he wouldn't give her any more gifts for Christmas, Bell still gave her one.
"Okay, okay, I promise!"
With his little scheme exposed, Bell could only helplessly make a promise.
Bell felt that something was wrong with the current situation.
So when he was the one giving the gift to Hermione, why does it seem like he was begging Hermione?
Before Bell could figure out what went wrong, Hermione, after receiving Bell's assurance, took Bell hand and happily strolled around the store.
When choosing clothes for herself, Hermione certainly didn't forget her boyfriend.
Every now and then, she would take off a piece of men's clothing and hold it up in front of Bell.
Finally, after spending more than an hour, and just when Bell was starting to question his existence, Hermione finally decided to buy the clothes.
There were a total of 4 pieces of clothing, 2 for herself and 2 for Bell.
After leaving the clothing store, Bell, who had been manipulated by his girlfriend for over an hour like a clothes rack, felt utterly exhausted.
Since it was already close to noon, Bell suggested finding a place to have lunch.
"Should we go to the Hog's Head Pub? I read in a book that it was the headquarters of the Goblin Rebellion in 1612. I've wanted to go there for ages."
Naive Hermione makes a "foolish" suggestion.
Then Bell rejected it without hesitation.
"No way! Before I left, Lim repeatedly warned me not to eat at the Hog's Head Pub. She said the meat there might be infested with maggots."
In fact, Bell thought Lim was exaggerating a bit. How could anyone feed customers meat with maggots?
However, Bell still intended to heed Lim's advice. After all, Bell trusted his own Lim more than a bar owner he had never met.
Then, Bell rejected Hermione's suggestion to return to the Three Broomsticks Pub.
Running back just to get food, and then running back again after eating—that's such a hassle.
Although it's not far, Bell is just too lazy.
Finally, at Bell's suggestion, the two found a scenic hill behind the clothing store and decided to have a picnic.
(Lim, who had followed out of concern and had been secretly observing from the shadows, breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing this.)
Lim was so touched that his Young Master had chosen to eat the food she had prepared for lunch!
Using Transfiguration, Bell turned the grass beneath his feet into a soft, comfortable blanket and brought out the sumptuous meal prepared by Lim.
After all, it was made by Lim with 50% more effort than usual, and its abundance even surprised Bell a little.
Hermione was speechless with shock as she looked at the various delicious dishes laid out around her.
"So, is Lim feeding pigs?"
Fortunately, Bell was unaware of the rude thoughts in his girlfriend's mind, otherwise he might have been angry... and given Hermione less food.
"Bell, there's so much, can you finish it all?"
"Don't worry, the three of us can eat it all, we should be able to finish it."
"Three!?"
Hermione jumped up in surprise. She looked around nervously.
Could it be that Shanna secretly followed her without her knowledge?
However, in the empty surroundings, there were only some Little Wizard were also planning a picnic, but there was no sign of Shanna.
"That's right."
With a mysterious smile, Bell patted his upper pockets.
"Wake up, it's time to eat."
Bell shouted something into his pocket.
A few seconds later, Fina jumped out of the pocket.
(Reassured, Lim has already Side-Along Apparition back to Hogwarts.)
As soon as she stepped out of her pocket, she saw a dazzling array of delicious food in front of her. Fina, who was a little hungry after sleeping all morning, couldn't wait to start eating.
If Shanna saw it in its current state, it might only be able to eat grass for the next six months.
In fact, Fina was ordered by Shanna to come and monitor Hermione, and to stop her ill intentions at a crucial moment.
However, compared to boring activities like shopping, Little Fina preferred to stay in a warm pocket.
It got a little too comfortable lying there and accidentally fell asleep.
