Fudge, feeling quite pleased with himself after handing Black over to the Dementor, decided to give Dumbledore face.

He commanded the Dementor to take Black to the nearby woods to execute him.

The main reason was that the sight of Dementor draining souls was just too beautiful. After seeing it once, Fudge never wanted to see it again. Otherwise, he was afraid he would have nightmares every night for the next week.

Watching the Dementor disappear into the distance, Fudge began to ponder how best to celebrate.

However, as the saying goes, excessive joy can easily lead to sorrow.

Shortly after the Dementor entered the forest, Fudge was astonished to see Dementor fly into the sky above the forest, roaring hoarsely as they searched for something.

A bad feeling crept into Fudge's heart.

"Quick! Go and find out what happened!"

Fudge gave the order to the Auror beside him.

Soon, an Auror brought back some less-than-pleasant news.

"Minister, something terrible has happened! Black has been rescued!"

These words struck Fudge like a bolt from the blue, leaving him dizzy and disoriented.

"Impossible! How could anyone possibly escape the senses of Dementor!"

Grabbing the Auror by the collar, Fudge roared angrily.

He couldn't believe that the duck that was already in his mouth had just flown away.

"According to the Dementor, the one who rescued Black was a Werewolf. As you know, Dementor can only absorb human emotions, so they are not as sensitive to beings other than humans."

The Auror explained helplessly.

He wouldn't have come back to be the punching bag if he hadn't lost the rock-paper-scissors game.

So why did he pull out the scissors just now?

"Werewolf? How could there be Werewolf here!?"

Furious, Fudge turned around sharply to look at Hogwarts Castle behind him.

Although there was no evidence, the sixth sense of the middle-aged man told him that it must be that old Dumbledore who was behind this!

"Go! Go and gather more Auror and Dementor! Even if you have to dig three feet into the ground, you must find Black and that damned Werewolf!"

After giving his orders in a fit of rage, Fudge stormed back to Hogwarts. He was going to find Dumbledore and confront him!

Bang!

Fudge, consumed by rage, no longer cared about putting on an act. He kicked open the Headmaster's Office door and walked in without a word.

Looking at the old face sitting behind the desk, leisurely looking at him, Fudge really wanted to punch it!

However, I dare not...

"What's wrong, Cornelius? What happened?"

Dumbledore.

That's right! All of this was Dumbledore's doing.

First, he arranged for Lupin to transform into Werewolf and lurk outside Hogwarts. Then, he ordered Fudge to bring Black outside Hogwarts to be executed.

Originally, he had planned to secretly lend Lupin a hand at a crucial moment. However, Fudge was more cooperative than he had expected, which saved him the trouble.

"Black was rescued by a Werewolf! Why are there Werewolf outside Hogwarts?!"

Seeing Dumbledore's expression, Fudge, who was initially 100% certain, was now 200% certain that the Werewolf was arranged by Dumbledore!

"Werewolf?"

Dumbledore feigned surprise.

However, it must be said that perhaps because he was dealing with a group of easily fooled Little Wizard all day long, Dumbledore's acting skills were really not up to par.

At least for someone like Fudge, a middle-aged fox who has been navigating the political arena for over a decade, Dumbledore's expression seemed fake no matter how you looked at it.

"Cornelius, I understand."

After thinking for a while, Dumbledore looked at Fudge with a serious expression.

"It must have been sent by Voldemort. I told you long ago that Voldemort is still alive."

Dumbledore couldn't help but applaud his own wit.

This plan not only gave him a tool, but also strengthened the persuasiveness of the idea that "Voldemort is still alive."

That's killing two birds with one stone!

As for whether Fudge believes it or not?

Does that matter?

If something happens today and appears on the front page of tomorrow's the Daily Prophet, there will always be people who believe it.

Seeing Dumbledore's nonchalant attitude, Fudge's lips trembled with anger.

"I... I will definitely catch them!"

After uttering a harsh remark, Fudge turned and slammed the door shut as he left.

Everyone knows that he can no longer catch Black. At least not in the short term.

It's not a full moon today, so that Werewolf is clearly conscious. In other words, he could revert to being a wizard at any time.

Catching a wizard who has escaped sight is no easy task. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many escaped Dark Wizard in the Magical World.

In an abandoned Wooden House, the space suddenly distorted.

Thump

Two figures appeared in the Wooden House and fell to the ground.

Lupin struggled to raise his Wand and freed Black from his restraints.

"Lupin! How are you? Why did you risk so much danger to save me?"

Looking at the horrific wound on Lupin's back that had nearly cleaved him in two, Black was filled with indescribable emotion and self-reproach.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Now that I know you're innocent, how could I just stand by and watch you get killed?"

Lupin said weakly.

"I have some pre-prepared Healing Potion in my pocket, could you please get them for me?"

Lying on the ground, Lupin, who had lost too much blood, was unable to even perform a simple action like taking out medicine from his pocket.

Upon hearing this, Black quickly took two bottles of Healing Potion from Lupin's pocket. He fed one to Lupin and poured the other onto the wound on Lupin's back.

The potion is very effective; it's clearly the work of a Potion Master.

(Actually, Lupin stole it from Snape's office. I wonder what Snape's expression would be if he knew that the Healing Potion he painstakingly created had actually saved two of his enemies.)

Seeing that the bleeding from the wound had stopped, Black carefully helped Lupin up and let him lean against the wall.

"Where am I?"

Looking out at the woods, Black asked curiously.

"An abandoned Wooden House. I lived here for a while. Don't worry, no one will come here."

Lupin's calm words, however, made Black feel a pang of heartache.

It seems Lupin has had a tough time these past few years. Otherwise, who would choose to live in such a godforsaken place under normal circumstances?

Seeing Black fall silent, Lupin mistakenly assumed that the other was feeling lost about the future, so he offered some words of advice:

"Sirius, I understand your desire to atone with your death. But you cannot die now."

"Why?"

Black looked at Lupin with a puzzled expression.

"Because of Harry! If I remember correctly, you should be Harry's godfather, right? Harry has lost his parents, and you're all he has left to rely on as his godfather."

"But will Harry believe me? Will he forgive me?"

Upon hearing Harry's name, Black felt a pang of heartache.

If he could, he would certainly like to take care of Harry in place of his good brother. But...

"I have no idea."

Lupin knew what Black was worried about, but there was really nothing he could do about it.

"But you can protect Harry from the shadows, just like you've been doing these past few months, can't you? Or is it that you simply can't stand that kind of life?"

Lupin knew Black very well, even better than Black himself.

Therefore, he knew that there was no more effective way to deal with Black than through provocation.

"Of course I can! I know what to do, thank you, Lupin."

As expected, a fierce fighting spirit ignited in Black's eyes, sweeping away the previous lifelessness.
