Small Goal
"Bell, what did you do?"
Seeing Bell return to his original spot, Hermione asked curiously.
"I set up an isolation barrier around here to block the Hogwarts barrier from affecting this place."
Don't be fooled by those 10 seemingly insignificant cones; they took Bell a lot of effort to create.
"What's the use of that?"
Hermione pressed for an answer again, still puzzled.
She had lived in Hogwarts for quite some time, but apart from the ever-changing staircases that initially caused her some trouble, she had never felt that the Hogwarts barrier had any effect on her.
So why did Bell want to block the Hogwarts barrier?
"We can use Side-Along Apparition and Apparition within the area Isolation Barrier. Other than that, they're not very useful..."
Bell said, looking slightly embarrassed.
He couldn't very well say that he actually had a dream one night in which he was trapped in a Magic Restriction Barrier and, because he couldn't use magic, he was eventually killed.
Upon waking, his paranoia, inherited from Professor Moody, flared up. After restless for a long time, he finally managed to create a set of magical tools to set up Isolation Barrier.
However, after he finished making it, he suddenly remembered that there was no such thing Magic Restriction Barrier in the Magical World! That was just something he read in novels in his previous life!
But no matter what, he couldn't possibly dismantle the magical artifacts he had painstakingly crafted.
So he tossed it into his pocket, hoping to use it someday to give himself some peace of mind.
Just now, after suddenly remembering the existence of the Isolation Barrier and successfully setting it up, he felt refreshed and invigorated.
Look! This thing he made is actually quite useful!
"Alright, let's forget about those little things for now, the game is the priority."
You four are in one group, I'll be alone. Phyllis, Lena, you two be careful later, don't get hurt.
Bell's original intention was not to involve Shanna's two best friends in his and Shanna's game.
That's too dangerous.
Even Hermione couldn't get involved in his fight with Shanna; at best, she could only barely protect herself, and that was only if he deliberately let her win.
"Bell, how about I team up with you?"
Hermione said.
Even though Bell is the only boy here, they would definitely be at a disadvantage in a one-on-one situation.
But if it's 4 against 1, Bell will definitely be beaten badly.
The thought of Bell covered in snowflakes and looking disheveled filled Hermione with anticipation... cough cough, but also heartache.
As for Bell's words about having Shanna take good care of Phyllis and Lena and make sure they don't get hurt, Hermione didn't care at all.
It's just a snowball fight, how could anyone get hurt? Bell is making a big fuss over nothing.
"No need, I can manage on my own."
Bell decisively rejected Hermione's attempt to curry favor with him.
If Hermione were to come over, how could he possibly "bully" her?
Cough cough!
"Oh well."
Hermione didn't seem to care about Bell's rejection.
This was the other person's own doing. She had tried very hard to "save" them, but they wouldn't agree, so there was nothing she could do.
Thinking about it, Hermione excitedly squatted down, grabbed a handful of snow, and squeezed it into a snowball.
Standing up, Hermione looked at Bell with a broad smile and raised the...
Whoosh!
A whooshing sound rang out, and a blur of motion swept past Hermione's ear.
Boom!
A violent roar came from behind, and the ground trembled slightly.
With a strained turn of her stiff neck, Hermione looked behind her.
Just a dozen meters away from her, a large crater appeared.
The gust of wind from the explosion swept over her, and snowflakes pelted down, covering Hermione's entire body and freezing the smile on her face.
"What the hell?!"
"Hermione, I remember telling you the rules of the snowball fight, right? That time, when we were cleaning the Quidditch pitch."
Bell looked at Hermione's stiff figure with puzzlement.
Didn't they have a snowball fight before? Although it was Hermione who got completely dominated.
"Yes, really?"
Hermione tried her best to turn her brain into a work-on-strike state.
Did anything else happen during the Quidditch pitch cleaning, besides Bell personally putting a ring on her finger?
I have absolutely no recollection of it!
"Okay, then I'll say it again."
Seeing Hermione's blank expression, and Phyllis and Lena standing beside Shanna, who were speechless with surprise, Bell explained the ' Menethil Family Snowball Fight Rules ' in detail again.
In fact, that was Bell's original plan. He was hoping that Phyllis and Lena, the two young girls, would back down after understanding the detailed rules.
For some reason, Hermione was suddenly so excited and anxious that she didn't give him a chance to explain and went to make a snowball on her own.
After Bell explained the rules, was it a case of things going against expectations, or as anticipated? Phyllis and Lena showed absolutely no intention of withdrawing.
"This is so much fun!"
Phyllis jumped up excitedly. She had no idea there was such a fun way to have a snowball fight.
"Uh-huh!"
Lena's face also flushed, and she nodded vigorously.
Although the little girl is introverted, that doesn't stop her from enjoying novel and exciting games.
After a brief preparation period, the game officially began.
With a gentle wave of his Wand, Bell knocked down the snowballs and Ice Cone that Shanna and Hermione had launched.
While maintaining a flawless defense, Bell was also calmly watching Phyllis and Lena.
Two little girls are clumsily using Transfiguration, trying to roll the snow on the ground into a snowball and launch it.
"Hey!"
With a powerful shout, Phyllis swung her Wand forcefully, intending to shoot the snowball she had painstakingly made at Bell.
However, the snowball only flew less than 10 meters before crashing to the ground.
Seeing her hard work ruined, Phyllis pouted unhappily.
As the saying goes, there is no harm without comparison.
Seeing Shanna and Hermione having so much fun beside her, and then looking at herself and Lena, who hadn't even managed to launch a single snowball yet, Phyllis felt a deep sense of defeat.
Taking a deep breath, Phyllis slapped her cheeks hard. She wasn't going to give up so easily!
Putting aside her distractions, Phyllis pointed her Wand at the ground again and, like Lena beside her, continued to make snowballs.
Just a moment ago, she set herself a small goal:
"We're going to throw a snowball at Bell Gege today!"
