Shanna Is Dead!?
Unfortunately, Bell doesn't usually use Legilimency on people he knows well. Otherwise, he could have learned about Phyllis's little wish and gone a little further to help the girl fulfill it.
Of course, if that were the case, Phyllis wouldn't have been able to work so hard for her "small" goals over the next few years and ultimately achieve extraordinary success.
And so, with Bell only defending and not attacking, about 5 minutes passed.
"Warm-up complete! Gege, it's my turn!"
Suddenly, Shanna stopped launching Ice Cone and snowballs. Her usually cheerful face was now filled with seriousness and focus.
At this moment, there was not a trace of the quirky and clever girl that Shanna usually was. Even Phyllis and Lena, who were close to Shanna, felt completely unfamiliar with the current Shanna.
With her lips pressed tightly together, Shanna ignored the doubts in her best friends' eyes and stared intently at her Gege not far away with a determined look in her eyes.
She knew that if she didn't use all her strength, she would be powerless against her own Gege.
"What? Warm-up? What warm-up?"
Hermione looked at Shanna beside her in surprise.
The continuous, high-intensity attacks left her with no energy to observe her surroundings.
Therefore, she did not notice anything unusual about Shanna.
And what's with the warm-up? Nobody told her there was such a step.
You have to understand, she gave it her all from the very beginning, and even exceeded expectations.
Originally, she was quite satisfied with her performance. She could clearly feel that the gap between herself and Shanna had indeed narrowed.
Now the other party is telling her that everything before was just a warm-up?
Ignoring Hermione's surprise, Shanna channeled magic into her Flying Shoes, stomped the ground, and vanished instantly.
A dark shadow circled Bell quickly, and the snow on the ground was blown up by the strong wind, forming a snow wave that pressed down on Bell, who was in the center.
As the snow surged towards him like a tidal wave, Bell calmly raised his Wand and pointed to a spot behind him.
As Bell moved, the snowflakes around him, and even the snowflakes in the snow waves, gathered towards the tip of his staff.
With a loud bang, the snow wave behind Bell was pierced, creating a circular hole as tall as a person.
Meanwhile, Shanna, who was hiding behind the snow waves, trying to gather magic power to unleash a stronger attack, was blasted away by her Gege's snowball without any warning.
Turning around, he slowly walked out of the hole he had created, looking at Shanna rolling and bouncing on the ground in the distance. A glimmer of azure magic emanated from Bell's eyes.
Even with Bell's current mastery of Occlumency, seeing his younger sister in such a sorry state, especially since he was the one who caused it all, almost made him soften.
Although Bell has always doted on Shanna, he can't bring himself to refuse his younger sister's requests.
But it is precisely because he loves Shanna more than anyone else that Bell is able to truly harden his heart when he deems it necessary.
Shanna is now 12 years old, Bell believes it's time for the little girl to experience some setbacks.
"Bell! What are you doing!?"
Hermione was stunned. What was she seeing? Bell was actually hitting Shanna!?
Is this really her boyfriend Bell? Or could it be someone else impersonating him using Polyjuice Potion?
Ignoring the gasps from behind, Bell waved his hand lightly, and dozens of Ice Spear appeared above his head.
Without any hesitation, he pointed at Shanna in the distance.
Amidst a series of sonic booms, the Ice Spear shot towards Shanna.
With great difficulty, she regained her balance as Ice Wall rose up in front of Shanna.
Although these hastily Transfiguration Ice Wall were shattered the moment they came into contact with the Ice Spear, they did slow down the speed of the Ice Spear to some extent, buying Shanna some time to react.
A dazzling blue light shot out from Shanna's eyes as the little girl pushed the magic within her body to its limit.
With a single glance, Shanna analyzed the trajectory and attack intensity of each Ice Spear.
Then, her right hand became a blur, and with just the right angle and the right amount of force, she deflected all the Ice Spear in front of her in an instant.
With the crisis averted and before she could even breathe a sigh of relief, Shanna darted into the air.
Boom!
Without any warning, the Ice Spear that had been deflected by Shanna and embedded around the little girl all exploded.
The sharp ice shards made a piercing sound as they cut through the air, Earth Spike into the surrounding ground.
Shanna, suspended in mid-air, glanced at the shield that was now covered in cracks again, and a bead of cold sweat appeared on her forehead.
Something's not right!
Her Gege broke through both of her shields with just two attacks. This had never happened before!
Before Shanna could figure out what her Gege was planning to do, a shadow fell over her.
"You can't afford to get distracted during battle."
Bell's emotionless voice came from above Shanna's head.
He held his Wand high, and at the tip of the Wand floated a huge ice ball about 10 meters in diameter.
With a flick of the Wand, the ice puck plummeted toward Shanna below at an incredible speed far exceeding its size.
Let alone being hit directly by a puck, even just being exposed to the air currents it creates while moving is enough to tear an ordinary person to shreds.
"Phantom Shift..."
Bell opened his left hand, and countless almost invisible, translucent spider silks instantly enveloped the space around Shanna.
With the space sealed off, Shanna's Apparition failed without any doubt.
Clinging to the surface of the ice puck, sensing the ground getting closer and closer below, in this life-or-death crisis, Shanna didn't need to think; her survival instinct drove her to make the best possible response.
A large amount of magic was released, Shanna controlled her magic to rotate rapidly around her, forming a drill pointing downwards.
"Boom!"
Like a thunderclap in a dry land, the impact of such a huge ice ball falling at high speed was far greater than that of the snowball Bell used to warn Hermione at the beginning.
The earth cracked open, sending dirt and snowflakes flying hundreds of meters high. The ground trembled violently, and even Hogwarts Castle in the distance shook. Many of the windows on the side of the castle closest to Bell and the others were shattered.
"Bell—!"
Scrambling to her feet, ignoring the mud and snowflakes covering her face and head, Hermione stared incredulously at Bell floating in mid-air and the giant ice ball beneath Bell feet.
Bell... he actually killed Shanna?!
