Where Had Shanna Gone?
After that "thrilling" snowball fight, Shanna and Hermione didn't talk to Bell properly for several days.
Left with no other choice, Bell had to appease both his sister and his girlfriend, running between them and pleasing neither, leaving him utterly exhausted.
Incidentally, because of Bell's final move, "Sky Burial," a "Snow Mountain" appeared on the Hogwarts lawn, a mountain made entirely of snow.
Therefore, Professor McGonagall's punishment for Bell's confinement was to clear all the snow away.
This led Bell to inadvertently discover a good way to deal with confinement.
What if there are no difficulties?
A: "Make it myself!"
Time flies, and two months have passed in the blink of an eye.
February 24th arrived quickly.
Today is the day of the second match of the Triwizard Tournament.
Early in the morning, the Little Wizard arrived at the Black Lake in small groups.
At this moment, a spectator stand had been erected on the Black Lake. Several huge mirrors were floating in the air in front of the spectator stand.
Those were six specially made screens, sponsored by the Menethil Family, used to broadcast today's match live.
This sponsorship was offered by Bell himself, who specifically sought out Dumbledore.
With Gabrielle, the little "traitor," around, even though Bell wasn't particularly interested in the Triwizard Tournament's events, he still learned early on that the second match would be held at Black Lake.
Black Lake, as the name suggests, is a lake that is extremely black.
Therefore, the Little Wizard on the shore cannot see the underwater competition.
This is outrageous!
Bell was genuinely curious about who decided on this ridiculous competition format.
Indeed, the Triwizard Tournament was initially created because the three magic schools in Europe were not willing to concede to each other and wanted to gain a voice, so they put together a competition to rank the three magic schools.
So strictly speaking, winning is the ultimate goal; nothing else matters.
But you have to understand, times have changed!
We live in a time of peace now, and wizards have mostly gone into hiding. Conflicts with Muggle are practically nonexistent. Let alone large-scale wars like those of nearly a thousand years ago.
This means that the struggle for discourse power has become meaningless. The Triwizard Tournament has gradually evolved into a friendly competition that promotes exchange among the three Europe magic schools and encourages students to make progress together.
As a result, not only was student participation in the competition almost zero, but now they're not even allowed to watch it!?
Do you know that this will result in low viewership ratings?
So, in order to make sure his girlfriend could enjoy watching the game, Bell approached Dumbledore and proposed that the Menethil Family provide magical items to provide a live broadcast for the students on shore.
After Dumbledore agreed to this seemingly advantageous offer.
Although Dumbledore can speak Merman and learn about underwater events through communication with the Merman in the Black Lake, there is always a delay in understanding what is happening underwater.
If something unexpected happens, by the time the fishman comes to tell him, it might be too late.
Therefore, now that someone is willing to provide live streaming for free, he certainly has no reason to refuse.
There are about 20 minutes left before the second match officially begins.
Apart from Harry, the "Little the Chosen One" who may or may not have been kidnapped, the other three Champion have arrived at the scene.
They were standing on the shore, listening to the referees give them instructions on the rules of the game.
Suddenly, four of the five giant screens in front of the audience lit up, causing the Little Wizard, who were eagerly anticipating the start of the competition, to erupt in cheers.
One of the screens displays a scene from the Mermen Village.
In the center of the Mermen Village stood four enormous stone pillars. On each pillar was a Little Wizard bound.
They are Ron from Gryffindor House, Cho Chang from Ravenclaw, Gabrielle, Phoebe's sister, and a Little Wizard, judging from his uniform, should be a Durmstrang student.
Incidentally, Professor McGonagall had previously approached Hermione, intending to tie her up in the Mermen Village so that Krum could rescue her.
When Bell learned of this, he was so angry that he almost went to work for Krum.
Naturally, Hermione declined Professor McGonagall's offer. She wanted to watch the rare Triwizard Tournament with her boyfriend.
Around the four stone pillars, groups of fishmen can be seen patrolling continuously, centered around the pillars.
The fishmen's ferocious faces, along with the long knives and harpoons in their hands, caused the Little Wizard in the audience to gasp in alarm, a mixture of worry and excitement.
On the other three lit screens, the figures of three Champion appeared.
Behind each Champion is a Surveillance Mirror, recording everything Champion encounter underwater. This not only showcases the Champion ' amazing performances to the audience but also provides a basis for the judges' scoring.
The last remaining screen, still black, belonged to Harry. Because Harry hadn't appeared yet for some reason, his Surveillance Mirror hadn't been activated.
"Bell, where did Shanna and the other two go?"
Hermione looked around in confusion.
She had sensed something was wrong when she didn't see Shanna in the Great Hall.
But when I asked Bell, she acted all mysterious, saying she'd find out soon enough.
Now, with the match about to begin, Shanna still hasn't shown up.
That's really strange!
Hermione didn't believe that Shanna would give up the opportunity to watch the game with her Gege.
"Ahem... it's right there."
Bell guiltily pointed to the screen displaying images of the Mermen Village.
"...where?"
Clinging to the last shred of hope, Hermione managed to ask with difficulty.
"There it is, look at the bottom right corner."
Bell pointed at the screen again.
Following Bell's direction, Hermione stared intently for a while, then was surprised to find that the swaying of the seaweed in the lower right corner of the screen did indeed look somewhat unnatural. Every now and then, a wisp of long, golden hair could be seen peeking through the swaying.
"Belle! What happened to you...?"
Shh! Wait a minute.
Bell put his index finger to Hermione's lips, stopping Hermione from speaking.
He took out his Personal Terminal and dialed his sister's number.
"Hey, Shanna. Your hair gave you away. Next time, remember to tie your hair up before going into the water... Yes, yes... Listen to me, move to the area under that female merman statue first."
While keeping an eye on the screen in mid-air, Bell directed his younger sister's actions through his Personal Terminal.
Each time the camera angle shifts away from the screen, Bell gives instructions for Shanna and the other two to move. And when the camera angle is about to return, he reminds the three to take cover.
