"Of course! Don't worry, Gege."

Shanna patted her chest and assured her.

Just kidding, she always completes her Gege's instructions promptly and efficiently.

As it turns out, Shanna is very reliable, at least much more reliable than her older Gege Bell.

About 20 minutes later, the staff member returned carrying the Wand of the Bell family of three.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. The inspection is complete, and there are no problems. Please check your Wand and sign here. Then I will lead you all out of the Magical Congress."

After retrieving her Wand and checking it briefly to make sure there were no problems, Elena signed her name on a registration form.

Following behind the staff, the Bell family turned countless corners before finally leaving the Magical Congress of the United States of America.

As he left the hall, Bell made a point of checking the Magical Exposure Threat-Level Indicator, unique to the Magical Congress of the United States of America.

The Magical Exposure Threat-Level Indicator hangs in the center of the main hall just inside the Magical Congress entrance, on a huge dial, indicating several levels such as safe, dangerous, high risk, and extremely dangerous.

The pointer is imbued with powerful detection magic, capable of detecting magical fluctuations in Muggle- inhabited areas throughout the United States.

Of course, due to its extremely large detection range, the pointer's sensitivity is actually very poor. Unless it's a large-scale team battle, or the wizard is careful to control their magical energy fluctuations when casting Curses, the pointer will hardly move at all.

For some reason, even globally, the relationship between the Magical Congress of the United States of America and the Muggle government is the worst. Should we say the Magical Congress is overstepping its bounds, or that the Muggle government is meddling too much?

Perhaps it's a combination of both.

Walking into a deserted alley, Bell grabbed his sister's hand and, in a twist, disappeared from the spot.

Unfortunately, after moving from Britain to United States with two other people in tow, Bell's magic power is almost depleted.

Therefore, in order to be lazy, he had no choice but to ask Shanna to give him a ride.

"Oh! Darlings, you're finally here! I was worried something might have happened to you."

As soon as the Apparition appeared outside an exquisite villa, an old woman excitedly came to greet it.

"Long time no see, Mom. There are still two minutes until the agreed time, what's the rush?"

As she spoke, Elena opened her arms and went to greet her mother, Clara Jeslav.

Then she was embarrassed to find that her mother didn't even glance at her, but instead darted past her and excitedly walked towards Bell and Shanna.

"Oh, dear ones, Grandma misses you all so much. Have you missed Grandma too?"

Clara hugged her grandson and granddaughter tightly, tears streaming down her face.

"Yes! Shanna misses her grandma so much!"

"Shanna said obediently."

"Oh! My little darling! In the blink of an eye, you've grown into such a beautiful young lady. Grandma is so happy!"

"Ahem! Mom! Let's hurry inside, we don't want to keep the others waiting!"

Elena looked at her mother, who ignored her daughter the moment she saw her granddaughter, with displeasure, and said loudly.

"Why are you shouting so loudly? I'm not so old that I'm deaf!"

Clara glared at her daughter with equal displeasure.

Can't you see she's being affectionate with her granddaughter right here?

Even at such a young age, you're still so impulsive and lack any sense of propriety!

"I..."

"Grandma, I'm a little tired and want to go inside and rest for a while."

Before his mother could even speak up, Bell quickly interjected.

He didn't want to stand by and watch his mother and grandmother's "loving interaction." If the conflict were to spread to him, whose side would he take?

And he was indeed quite tired. The exhaustion from working day and night for the past two weeks, coupled with the recent use of a long-range Side-Along Apparition that crossed Earth, left him wanting nothing more than to collapse.

"No problem! Come on, Grandma! I've prepared lots of delicious food for you!"

Upon hearing Bell's words, Clara's expression instantly changed, transforming from a fierce and stern look to a kind and approachable one.

Although she wanted to spend some quality time with her grandchildren outside, knowing that three old rascals would be taking her spot once she went inside, she couldn't pretend she hadn't heard her grandson say he was tired.

And so, Clara enthusiastically led Bell and Shanna by the hand, chatting and laughing as they walked into the villa. This made Elena, who had been ignored by everyone, roll her eyes in exasperation.

"Was my aunt's engagement ceremony held here?"

Entering the villa and looking at the extravagantly decorated hall, Bell asked curiously.

"Yes. Anyway, not many people will come, so this place is enough."

Clara's voice sounded somewhat low.

She took her favorite youngest daughter's engagement ceremony very seriously. She really wanted to give her daughter a grand ceremony.

Unfortunately, the Jeslaff Family was never a large family to begin with. Moreover, most of their family connections were in Britain.

Although I have been in the United States for more than 10 years, apart from some business partners with whom I share interests, I can only call a handful of people my true friends.

As outsiders, United States wizards, when faced with conflicts of interest, will instinctively form alliances with their own countrymen.

The younger daughter's fiancé, Grandio Justin, is of Half-blood, and the family has even fewer relatives and friends.

This resulted in the engagement ceremony falling far short of Clara's ideal scale.

She had actually considered holding the engagement ceremony in Britain. That way, with the growing influence of her in-laws, the Menethil Family, she was sure to be able to host a grand engagement ceremony.

Unfortunately, the British Wizarding World was recently rocked by the Dark Lord who died and then came back to life.

Even though Elena repeatedly assured her that the British Wizarding World was perfectly safe and that most of the Death Eater were dead, Clara was still very worried.

No one knew her eldest daughter's unreliable nature better than Clara. Based on her years of experience, she generally listened to the opposite of what her eldest daughter said.

So the more her eldest daughter comforted her, the more uneasy she felt.

In addition, Clara's younger daughter, understanding her fiancé's wishes, did not want the engagement ceremony to be held in Britain, so Clara readily agreed.

Feeling guilty for not being able to support her youngest daughter, Clara poured all her enthusiasm into the decorations.

This is why the villa's lobby is decorated so lavishly.
