"Differentiation" Plan
Hearing his father's deafening roar, Bell was not flustered at all; in fact, he almost laughed.
He leisurely picked at his ear, then turned his Personal Terminal so that it faced Shanna beside him.
"Dad! Why did you suddenly yell so loudly? You startled me!"
Shanna glared at her father on the screen with displeasure.
She was happily eating her pudding when her father suddenly yelled, startling her so much that she dropped the pudding in her spoon.
Luckily, it didn't fall off the plate, otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to eat a whole pudding!
You see, she had just made a promise with her Gege that she could only have one more pudding tonight.
If you eat one less bite, then it doesn't count as one!
Wait a minute! If that's the case, I wonder if my Gege will let her have another one?
Thinking of this, Shanna secretly moved the small piece of pudding that had fallen and broken into the plate towards the edge of the plate.
Only after being glared at by Bell did the little girl reluctantly pout and stop her little antics.
"Sweetie!? I'm so sorry, Daddy didn't notice you were there. Daddy apologizes, okay? Don't be angry with Daddy, okay?"
Upon seeing his beloved daughter, William instantly forgot all about disciplining Bell.
You can teach that brat a lesson anytime, but opportunities to be intimate with your precious daughter are becoming increasingly rare.
Absolutely not to be missed!
Seeing her father's IQ plummet from over 30 to less than 3 years old, Bell grinned, got up and walked outside, leaving the father and daughter alone.
Bell had barely sat down in the CEO's office when Goodwin, who had been waiting for a long time, knocked on the door and came in.
"How is the situation?"
Bell asked lazily.
Although he had just slept all day, he hadn't fully recovered from the mental exertion he had expended. After eating, he felt sleepy again.
"The various gangs have all gathered together, but for some reason, they haven't taken any action. Even the sabotage that had been targeting the family businesses has completely stopped."
Goodwin explained.
Upon hearing this, Bell's lips curled up slightly.
What else could it be? He chickened out!
"What about the Auror?"
Bell continued to inquire.
"They found nothing and have already gone back. However, according to the leader, they will come back tomorrow."
At this point, Goodwin couldn't help but show a look of displeasure.
Because of their differing stances, even though he knew the Auror of the Magical Congress were simply following the rules, he still felt very unhappy.
"Let them investigate if they want; they won't find anything anyway."
Previously, the members of the Special Operations Team had all secretly entered the country without registering with the Magical Congress.
As for those prisoners, Bell stuffed them into the belly of the Ten Thousand Snakes, and they have probably already been sent to the Menethil Family's headquarters in Mexico.
No matter how powerful the Auror of the Magical Congress are, they can't possibly go to Mexico to investigate.
Unless they want to start a war.
In conclusion, even if the Auror were to find some clues, they would not be able to definitively point to the Menethil Family.
As long as Father continues to pressure the Magical Congress of the United States of America through the British Ministry of Magic, the Auror will have to return empty-handed before today.
Therefore, the only problem facing the Menethil Family right now is that group of unruly gangsters.
Although Bell and his team's actions over the previous two nights had temporarily intimidated those people, this peaceful situation could not last forever.
If the assembled gang wizards were to mobilize in full force, the Menethil Family would have no choice but to slink away from the American Wizarding World.
Fortunately, the gangsters' cowardice gave Bell some room to maneuver.
"Based on the results of the previous analysis by the General Staff, let's execute the 'Division' plan."
Remember, the plan must be completed tonight!
Tomorrow morning, I'll send out invitations to all the gang leaders; I'd like to invite them all to dinner.
The so-called "divide and conquer" plan is actually just about winning over some of the wizarding groups that are not doing well.
The targets selected by the General Staff were all groups that were of good character but were therefore marginalized and weak.
Among them, the Devouring Teeth of Evil ranked first among the targets to be won over.
However, because these targets were simply too weak to be considered capable of, even if we had managed to win them over, it wouldn't have made any real difference to the situation.
But now, the situation is completely different.
You should know that Bell currently has Straight Flush from Jack to Ace!
Even though his hole card is a 3, that doesn't stop him from bluffing.
If, at this point, a few more shills were to appear in the opposing camp, further weakening their will to resist, it might scare them away.
Why not give it a try? You never know, it might work!
Anyway, there's no loss if it doesn't work out, right?
Slug and Jiggers.
The largest and most famous bar in the United States Black Market.
Today, the bar, usually bustling with activity, was unusually quiet. Even the waiters who were responsible for serving drinks had vanished without a trace.
All of this was because, in the center of the bar's lobby, sat dozens of menacing-looking wizards.
They sat around a huge round table, each person bowing their head in silence.
The somber atmosphere was so intense that even mosquitoes and flies couldn't fly in the air.
The owner of the Slug and Jiggers was huddled in the shadows behind the bar, looking at the group of people in the bar with a worried expression.
Normally, his business would have been struggling these past few days due to the Auror ' frantic searches. He should have been thrilled that someone was willing to spend a fortune to book his bar.
After all, the Menethil Family is truly generous.
But the problem is, this bar was passed down from his great-grandfather!
Although the bar is a bit run-down, every wooden plank here is engraved with heavy historical traces, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it an antique.
So, if these people start fighting and destroy his family's bar, which has been passed down through four generations of only sons, how much compensation should he ask the Menethil Family for?
Is it too little? He'll be so heartbroken he won't be able to sleep.
"Isn't that too much?" He was afraid the Menethil Family would turn against him.
After all, the Menethil Family is no longer the easy prey they once were.
That was clearly a terrifying behemoth that devoured people without spitting out the bones!
He dared not really anger the other party, otherwise, not only would he lose compensation, but he might also lose his life.
So, how much money should he ask for?
This is really worrying him to death!
