Haggis Is Said to Be Delicious
"Hahaha~! It's nothing... hahaha~!"
Bell laughed so hard she could barely breathe, yet she still managed to give a perfunctory reply.
"Nobody would believe it's nothing. If it's nothing, why are you laughing like that?!"
Penelope glared at Bell with displeasure, as if she wouldn't let him off the hook until Bell gave her a satisfactory answer.
Seeing Penelope's expression, Bell slowly stopped laughing. Only then did he realize that something was wrong.
Although he found what happened tonight quite funny, he shouldn't have laughed out loud in public, no matter how funny it was.
Bell has always disliked attracting attention. And such simple emotional control shouldn't require any special effort from him. Why did he just lose control of his emotions to that extent?
Bell lowered his head and pondered for a moment.
If there's anything different about today compared to the past, it's undoubtedly what happened on the platform.
Of course, Bell wasn't saying that his mother had done anything to him. Rather, after Bell realized once again what was most important to him, he had to leave his family again just three days later.
(This time it was truly out of necessity; they were all thrown out by their own mothers.)
So, his emotions had actually been off since noon? It's just that a trigger has brought out his abnormality now?
In truth, Bell didn't quite understand either; all of the above were merely his speculations. After all, nothing is more complex than the human heart, and even his own "heart" was often difficult for Bell to comprehend.
"Bell? What's wrong with you now?"
Penelope reached out and touched Bell's forehead; it wasn't hot.
Seeing Bell suddenly laughing uproariously and then suddenly looking down in deep thought, Penelope was worried that Bell might be sick or under some kind of Dark Magic.
"Oh, it's nothing, it really is nothing this time."
"So something really happened just now? You were just trying to fool me!"

"Hey-hey..."
"Hey, you head over there!!!"

I accidentally let it slip, how embarrassing... But whether I let it slip or not, it doesn't seem to make any difference.
"Actually, it's like this... You'll find out in a bit, so please wait a moment."
Of course, Bell couldn't tell Penelope what had happened. After all, he had been sitting there with everyone the whole time. So how was he supposed to explain how he knew what was going on outside? He could always just keep quiet and get away with it.
Penelope was so angry at Bell's suspenseful behavior that she wanted to hit him, but she couldn't actually do it (even though she had already done it).
After all, although you can't tell from her appearance, and no one would believe it if you told them, she is a senior from the 4th grade at the University of Bell.
Bullying younger students doesn't have a good reputation.
Not to mention that she was Ravenclaw Prefect, so she couldn't possibly lead the way in breaking discipline and fooling around during meals.
However, it's impossible for Penelope to let Bell off the hook so easily. If she can't get over this, she probably won't be able to sleep well tonight.
Penelope snatched Bell's plate, forked a whole haggis, and put it on Bell's plate.
"No! You can't do this, Penelope! This is murder!"
Looking at the famous dish placed in front of him, just smelling it made Bell feel like vomiting.
"You should apologize to the Scotland, Bell. You've insulted their traditional food. I've heard that offal is good for you, especially for men, so eat up and don't let your senior's good intentions go to waste."
As she spoke, Penelope forcefully shoved the fork into Bell's hand, staring at him with a sly smile.
"Besides, I'm the Prefect, you know. Even if we're close, I won't allow you to waste food."
Penelope puffed out her chest, making the Prefect Badge hanging on her chest even more conspicuous.
Bell didn't know how he finished dinner or how he got back to his dorm. He only knew one thing: he absolutely couldn't offend Penelope again, or who knew what else might happen.
The next morning, Bell received his course schedule for the academic year from Professor Flitwick.
However, before he could even take a closer look at this year's course schedule, a hand reached out and snatched the timetable from his hand.
"Bell, it seems like this school year is the same as last year; most of the Gryffindor courses are taken together with Ravenclaw. That's great!"
Hermione quickly glanced through Bell's schedule and then compared it with the schedule in her mind.
"We'll have our Transfiguration Class this morning and our Defense Against the Dark Arts this afternoon together. My first class is Herbology, so it might take a while to get back to the castle. Bell, you need to get to the Transfiguration classroom early and get a seat at the very front. Remember, it has to be at the very front, no running to the corners!"
Bell felt a headache coming on as the Little Witch kept nagging her.
"Don't worry, Hermione. No one will fight for the front row, the middle seat except you. Even if you're the last one to enter the classroom, the best seat in your eyes will definitely be empty."
Hermione rolled her eyes at Bell, clearly annoyed by his teasing remark.
"You're surely planning to attend Defense Against the Dark Arts this school year, right? Unlike Professor Quirrell, Professor Lockhart is incredibly skilled! You absolutely cannot miss it, or you'll regret it!"
Who knows?
Bell shrugged noncommittally.
Deep down, Bell had no idea he wanted to attend Lockhart's Defense Against the Dark Arts. But he couldn't say it out loud, or Hermione would definitely fly into a rage.
Explanations are too much trouble. Since the other party isn't his own Shanna, Bell has no interest in wasting time explaining himself.
Fortunately, although Lockhart was a bit of a loser, at least he didn't come with biological weapons like Quirrell, so Bell only needed to cast an Muffliato spell on himself.
After a year of training in the A History of Magic classes, Bell can now Wandless Magic this Curses without a wand without any difficulty. Moreover, he can ensure that the magical fluctuations during the casting are minimized, so that more than 90% of wizards cannot detect them.
As the two were chatting, a deafening roar suddenly came from the Gryffindor dining table.
"... I wouldn't be surprised at all if they fired you..."
The roar shook the dust off the ceiling, causing it to fall in a flurry.
Caught off guard, Bell, whose hearing was becoming increasingly sensitive, was so shocked that his ears were ringing.
Indeed, everything is subject to comparison. For the first time, Bell felt that Hermione's nagging was so gentle and pleasant.
