Soy Sauce Tastes Better Than Vinegar
Rubbing his ears, Bell began to consider the necessity of limiting his senses.
Being slow to perceive things is unacceptable; otherwise, you won't even know if you're ambushed, and you won't even know how you died.
However, being too sensitive also seems to have a big problem. If a loud sound or bright light suddenly comes, like now, one will be caught off guard.
It seems necessary to conduct relevant research.
"What happened?" Bell asked knowingly.
"Snort!"
Hermione's anger bar began to surge, and her face turned red at a visible speed.
"It's all because of those two troublemakers, Harry and Ron! You know what? They didn't take the Hogwarts Express to school; they Accio here in a Flying Car! The newspapers said they caused a huge commotion. Luckily, school hadn't started yet, so Professor McGonagall didn't deduct House Points. Otherwise, Gryffindor House would have been starting with negative points for the first time in their history! How could they drive such a dangerous thing as Flying Car!"
It seems the Little Witch's obsession with House Points hasn't diminished at all this year. However, there's one point Bell feels it's very necessary to clarify with Hermione.
"Flying Car are not dangerous at all, Hermione. In fact, every Flying Car is enchanted with various protective and invisibility Flying Car to ensure the safety and concealment of its occupants under any circumstances. The reason those two were seen by Muggle and encountered danger was simply because they were driving a modified, unofficial Flying Car."
"Who knows? Anyway, Flying Car are out of my reach. I've heard Flying Car 're all ridiculously expensive; I guess I'll never be able to afford one in my lifetime."
Through her long-term interactions with Bell, the earnest Hermione was also influenced by Bell and learned his signature perfunctory remarks.
Hearing his own signature line, Bell rolled his eyes in exasperation.
"If you want to drive Flying Car, I'll just give you one."
"No!"
Unexpectedly, the Little Witch reacted unusually strongly to Bell's words.
"You can't give me such an expensive gift!"
"Forehead..."
Bell was somewhat taken aback by Hermione's reaction, and it took him a while to come to his senses.
"Actually, the Flying Car isn't as valuable as you think... Okay, okay, I understand, I won't give it away."
Seeing Hermione's eyes widen, Bell stopped himself from saying anything to prevent them from falling out.
"But I can lend you mine to drive it, you can at least try it out, right?"
Bell gave himself a thumbs up for his cleverness.
"You have your own Flying Car? You're only 12 years old!"
Hermione's mouth dropped open in surprise.
"Actually, I don't have one right now, but it's nothing expensive. If I wanted one, I could have it any second now. You might not know this, but my family actually manufactures Flying Car. So, I don't need to spend any money to get a Flying Car from home."

Hermione had lost count of how many times she'd heard similar things from Bell. She wouldn't be surprised if she were told now that Hogwarts Castle was also built by the Bell Family.
"Bell, are all your family members this powerful? Or are all wizards this powerful?"
Hermione looked around the Great Hall and asked incredulously.
Watching her classmates chat and joke around, the Little Witch could hardly imagine how powerful they would become in the future.
"Could it be that wizards actually have abnormal physical development?"
Hermione thought very rudely.
"It's just so-so," Bell said modestly.
There's nothing we can do about it; he's just such a humble and low-key person, so never idolize him, or he'll become arrogant.
<( ̄ ̄)>
"The Flying Car was actually first built by Ron's father, Mr. Arthur Weasley. Oh, the one that crashed last night. The Flying Car produced by my family are actually the result of purchasing Mr. Weasley's technology and then optimizing and improving it."
"Who!? Ron's father!? Is his father really that powerful!?"
Hermione's eyes widened in surprise once again, and she exclaimed in disbelief.
"Um... Hermione, that's very rude of you. The Weasley family are very famous in the wizarding world (although their reputation might not be so positive), and Ron's parents and Gege are all very talented wizards. For example, your Prefect, Percy Weasley, is the top student in his year."
Hermione stuck out her tongue, trying to get away with it cutely. The Little Witch clearly realized how rude her words had been.
"Alright, I'm not talking to you anymore, I haven't had breakfast yet. Goodbye, Bell, see you in Transfiguration Class. Don't forget to save a seat!"
With that, Hermione ran off toward the Gryffindor dining table without looking back.
Bell waved at Hermione's retreating figure, then fell into thought. He had just noticed Hermione's timetable and saw that she had marked Lockhart's Defense Against the Dark Arts with a heart. So he was very...
"They've all left, why are you still looking? If you're so reluctant to let them go, then go after them. I wouldn't mind if you ate breakfast at the Gryffindor table. I can even talk to the Gryffindor Prefect and ask them not to kick you out."
Penelope suddenly appeared behind Bell, gently patted his head, and teased him.
"Um, I'm not reluctant to part with it."
Bell looked completely bewildered, unable to understand what Penelope was saying at all.
"Who would believe that? If you're not reluctant to let go, why keep staring at their retreating figure?"
"I've been thinking about something. I noticed Hermione marked Lockhart's classes with hearts, and I'm wondering why. By the way, do you like Professor Lockhart? Do you ever mark his classes with hearts too?"
Completely baffled, Bell decided to seek outside help and ask Penelope, who was also a girl, for her opinion.
"I wouldn't say I like it. Actually, I hadn't read Professor Lockhart's books before. I only bought them and read them after the book list arrived over the summer. From the descriptions in the books, Professor Lockhart Professor Lockhart seem very powerful, and I'm really looking forward to this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts. It's just that those books are so expensive. What, are you jealous?"
Bell rolled his eyes at Penelope; her answer was utterly useless. And why should he be jealous? Jealousy was too sour; he didn't like it at all.
"No, I prefer soy sauce."
"..."
Penelope stared at Bell speechlessly, unsure whether the other was genuinely naive or feigning ignorance. Was her question perhaps beyond the comprehension of a second-year Little Wizard?
That shouldn't be the case! She seemed to know about these things when she was in second grade. Is there really such a big difference between boys and girls?
So there's only one truth: Bell must be pretending to be stupid!
(Bell: "Heh.")
