Born amid the Far North’s wind and snow, the Snow Empress possesses a natural affinity for the laws of ice and snow and believes in the Ice God. She rules from an Ice Palace built of ten-thousand-year mystic ice 2 19.

She rescued Ye Wuchen after his birth in the Far North’s Core Circle, adopted him, and accepted him as her disciple. His Heavenly Snow Woman Martial Soul shared her origin, allowing her to pass on her techniques without reservation 1 36.

Their support became reciprocal. Ye Wuchen’s discovery of profound ice marrow helped her overcome her 700,000-year tribulation, while her instruction helped him condense his first Ultimate Ice Soul Core. She also used profound ice marrow to raise an approximately 80,000-year snow lotus past the 100,000-year threshold, preparing it as his seventh Soul Ring 19 36 37.

Personality

Outwardly aloof and proud, the Snow Empress treats those close to her with considerable warmth. Ye Wuchen describes her as cold as the Far North’s ancient ice but exceptionally kind to her loved ones. Her reunion with him immediately dissolves her usual reserve, and she welcomes Shui Bing’er with praise and a cultivation gift 1 8.

She is fiercely protective of Ye Wuchen and openly possessive of his affection. She threatens Tang San and Yu Xiaogang for provoking him, becomes jealous of Shui Bing’er’s intimacy with him, and is left embarrassed and indignant when he kisses her on the lips 13 31 32 35. Learning that he is a transmigrator does not change her attachment: she regards the disciple she raised as the most important person in her life 38.

Her confidence in battle is balanced by an ability to acknowledge danger. She challenges Di Tian to test her new strength, yet sincerely admits that his Dragon God Claw might have overwhelmed her without her godhood.
