"I choose the High-Speed Regeneration skill!"

As soon as Ye Yang finished speaking, the Forbidden Magic Book's voice rang out in his mind.

"Beep! Beginning skill inheritance for the master... skill inheritance successful!"

The moment the notification ended, Ye Yang felt a warm power appear out of nowhere within him, flowing continuously through his body.

"So this is High-Speed Regeneration? Let's give it a try."

Muttering to himself, Ye Yang raised two fingers and lightly swept them across his left wrist, opening a small cut from which thin trickles of blood flowed.

The next second, the bleeding suddenly stopped. Then flesh and skin grew at a speed visible to the naked eye, healing completely in the blink of an eye without leaving a single mark on his pale wrist.

Ye Yang touched where the wound had been and felt no pain at all. He immediately turned to Ulquiorra with a grin. "As expected of the only Arrancar who retained High-Speed Regeneration. I'm very satisfied with this regeneration speed."

Hearing this, Ulquiorra lowered his head slightly. "Thank you for your praise, Lord Ye Yang."

"Mm." Ye Yang looked at Ulquiorra and said with a faint smile, "Ulquiorra, from now on, I appoint you the Fourth Forbidden Blade of the Dark Forbidden Legion, as well as my guard. Do you understand?"

Ulquiorra knelt on one knee before Ye Yang and said respectfully, "Understood, Lord Ye Yang."

Ye Yang reached out to help Ulquiorra up and said calmly, "I told you there's no need for that between us. You don't need to kneel anymore."

"Yes." Ulquiorra rose without saying anything more. Never one for much conversation, he stood silently beside Ye Yang.

Standing at the harbor, Ye Yang opened the Forbidden Magic Book with a thought to examine Ulquiorra's information.

Name: Ulquiorra Cifer Status: Summoned Power unlocked: ★★★☆☆

Looking at the information on the page, Ye Yang frowned and thought, Forbidden Magic Book, roughly how strong is Ulquiorra with three stars of power unlocked?

The Forbidden Magic Book's icy voice rang out, sounding like a dead person's.

"He can perform the first-stage Resurrección but cannot use the Second Stage Resurrección."

"Only the first-stage Resurrección, huh..."

Ye Yang reckoned that, given Ulquiorra's strength, even if he could only use the first-stage Resurrección, his overall power should be no less than an Admiral's.

He continued asking, "How many stars does he need to reach to use the Second Stage Resurrección?"

"Five stars."

"So it really is the highest level... how many Negative Points does reaching five stars require?"

"Upgrading from three stars to four stars requires Negative Points, and upgrading from four stars to five stars requires Negative Points. Master has insufficient Negative Points, so upgrading is currently unavailable."

"Thirty thousand plus fifty thousand, so eighty thousand..." Resting his chin on his hand, Ye Yang asked in a low voice, "Suppose Ulquiorra were at one star. How many Negative Points would it take to upgrade him to five stars?"

"Upgrading from one star to two stars requires Negative Points, and upgrading from two stars to three stars requires Negative Points. Combined with the subsequent three stars, the total is one hundred and ten thousand Negative Points."

Ye Yang muttered to himself, "One hundred and ten thousand Negative Points? That's forty thousand cheaper than Madara Uchiha. Is it because of the difference in their power?"

The Madara Uchiha he had unlocked was in his Six Paths form, at his strongest, with power that stood at the pinnacle of Naruto. Although Ulquiorra was very strong, he still fell a little short of Madara in his Six Paths form.

"How many Negative Points do I have now?"

The Forbidden Magic Book said, "Master currently has Negative Points."

"Only that much? I thought there would be a lot." Ye Yang shook his head rather helplessly. "Looks like I still need to enter the New World as soon as possible and stir up some trouble."

The New World was known as the cradle of monsters. Even the weakest pirates there had bounties in the tens of millions or more, and there were also plenty of great pirates and the Four Emperors. That was the truly ideal place to stir up trouble.

Out on the distant sea, three Marine warships were sailing rapidly toward the Sabaody Archipelago.

Aboard the warship in the middle, Akainu and Kizarino stood on deck, gazing out over the surrounding waters.

"Buru buru... buru buru..."

Just then, the ringing of a Den Den Mushi suddenly sounded.

Akainu frowned and took the Den Den Mushi out of his clothes. After answering it, he said in a low voice, "Sakazuki speaking."

The Den Den Mushi took on Sengoku's appearance, even sporting a seagull cap on its head.

Then Sengoku's extremely anxious voice came through the Den Den Mushi. "This is Sengoku. Sakazuki, how far are you from the Sabaody Archipelago?"

Akainu glanced at the sea and said calmly, "About half an hour away."

"Are you sailing at full speed?"

"We're already at full speed. Has something happened?"

The Den Den Mushi mimicked Sengoku's grim expression as he gritted his teeth. "That criminal killed the Celestial Dragon. The Five Elders are already asking about this matter. Have Borsalino go ahead to the Sabaody Archipelago. Whatever happens, that criminal must not escape... dead or alive!"

"Understood." Akainu's gaze sharpened. He hung up the Den Den Mushi and looked at Kizaru beside him.

Noticing Akainu's gaze, Kizaru could only nod, his voice full of resignation. "I knew it would be another thankless job."

After his complaint, his body dissolved into specks of light. With a flash, he vanished instantly.
